Resistencias de hombres heterosexuales frente a la masculinidad hegemónica

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar las narrativas de hombres heterosexuales para identificar las formas de resistencia hacia la masculinidad tradicional, impuesta por el patriarcado. Se realizó una investigación cualitativa, en la que los participantes eran estudiantes de entre 21 y 26 años, que hubieran pasado por un cuestionamiento de la construcción de su masculinidad, además de un acercamiento a la teoría de las nuevas masculinidades. Así, se realizaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y, utilizando una metodología biográfica, se analizó la información obtenida teniendo en cuenta la teoría de las nuevas masculinidades, la subjetividad masculina, las concepciones de género y la acción política. Se pudo concluir, que hay una transformación en la construcción de la subjetividad masculina, que está atravesada por la relación con el cuerpo propio y el de los otros, sin desligarse totalmente de los discursos hegemónicos sobre la masculinidad.The objective of this investigation was to analyze the narratives of heterosexual men to identify the ways of resistance toward traditional masculinity, imposed by the patriarchy. A qualitative investigation was done, in which the participants were students between 21 and 26 years old, who had passed through a survey about the construction of their masculinity and an approach to the theory of the new masculinity. In this manner, semistructured interviews were carried out, and using a biographic methodology, the data collected was analyzed taking into account the theory of the new masculinities, the masculine subjectivity, the conceptions of genre, and the political action. It was concluded that there is a transformation in the construction of masculine subjectivity, which is interfered by the relation with the own body and of others, without being totally separated from the hegemonic discourse of masculinity.Psicólogo (a)Pregrad
