Caminos de la mar: tensiones por la apropiación del maritorio en Taganga, un pueblo indígena del Caribe colombiano

This article corresponds to a case study conducted in the ancestral territory of Taganga, Santa Marta, between 2021 and 2022. In the text we show the relationship of the Tagangueros, a people of indigenous people and fishermen living in the northern Colombian Caribbean, with the sea. That is, we show the sea and the life that is made by the water as part of the Taganguero ethos. Likewise, we retake the local category of the ways of the sea to describe the Taganga's conceptualization of this water source and the process of resistance and struggle for the defense and access to the coastal coast. The text is written through ethnographic windows or images that are intertwined with a visual register. The methodology applied for this study corresponds to a collaborative work and accompaniment in different scenarios, for example, trips to fishing operations in traditional ancones, meetings in the construction of the Taganga Life Plan, internal assemblies and attendance to meetings with officials of Natural Parks.El presente artículo corresponde a un reporte de caso realizado en el territorio ancestral de Taganga, Santa Marta, entre el periodo 2020 a 2023. En el texto evidenciamos la relación de los tagangueros, un pueblo de indígenas pescadores que habita en el norte del Caribe colombiano, con la mar. Es decir, mostramos la mar y la vida que se hace junto al agua como parte del ethos taganguero. Así mismo, retomamos la categoría local de los caminos de la mar para describir la conceptualización que los Taganga hacen de la fuente hídrica y el proceso de resistencia y lucha por la defensa y el acceso al litoral costero. El texto está escrito a través de ventanas o imágenes etnográficas que se entrelazan con un registro visual.
