    劉禹錫與元白詩派的離合

    拙著《元白詩派研究》將晚年與白居易唱和的劉禹錫劃入元白詩派,曾引發異議。確實,歷來文學史對劉禹錫的定位,都是視其爲中唐元白與韓孟兩大詩派之外的優秀詩人,自具風格,别有個性。但劉禹錫晚年的詩歌創作,因爲與白居易交往唱和而有所變化,也同樣是不爭的事實,只是没有受到充分的重視而已。二人詩風因交互影響而不免有趨同傾向,歷史上也屢有劉冠白戴的誤判,其中還包括方虚谷、王漁洋和袁隨園等赫赫有名的詩評家。本文擬在詳細排比劉禹錫與白居易交遊唱和詩基礎上,論述他們詩歌創作上的交互影響之跡,以求辨析劉禹錫與元白詩派的離合

    葉清臣既是北宋文學家,也是高節莫屈的一代名臣,然其生卒年與籍貫説法不一,行年亦有待詳攷。經梳理原始史料,比對有關記載,攷得葉清臣卒於宋仁宗皇祐元年(1049)四、五月之際,享年五十歲,逆推當生於宋真宗咸平三年(1000)。其郡望爲南陽,籍貫當爲湖州烏程,後徙寓蘇州長洲。其他行年及撰述等亦多有詳攷。 Ye Qingchen was a man of letters and court official of esteemed integrity in the Northern Song dynasty. This article compares the various biographical records of Ye’s birth and death years and his birth place and concludes that Ye was born in 1000 CE (the third year of the Xianping era during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of Song) and died at the age of fifty, between April and May 1049 CE (the first year of the Huangyou era during the reign of Emperor Renzong of Song). Nanyang was the chroronym of Ye’s family clan. Wucheng, Huzhou was his domicile of original, and he migrated to Changzhou, Suzhou later.     Salivary analysis : an emerging paradigm for non‐invasive healthcare diagnosis and monitoring

    As an emerging non‐invasive and easy‐to‐use toolkit, salivary analysis has garnered significant attention recently. By leveraging the latest discoveries in salivary biomarkers, salivary analysis has the potential to revolutionize the field of healthcare by providing valuable information for monitoring an individual's health status, diagnosing disease progression, and enabling personalized treatment. However, the transitional development of breakthrough salivary analysis remains an intriguing challenge. Only a few innovations have progressed to new transformative healthcare diagnosis and monitoring tools. In this review, we attempt to illustrate a bird's eye view of the emerging field of salivary analysis by exploring an assorted selection of seminar progress that can potentially shape the developing trajectory of the field of salivary analysis. The fundamental nature of saliva and the versatile robust uses of salivary analysis as a novel non‐invasive method in various healthcare diagnostic and monitoring fields will be thoroughly discussed. To inspire next‐stage development in this thriving and fruitful field, we also crystalize key findings, pinpoint challenges that remain to be addressed and present an outlook on the future transitional development of salivary analysis, invigorating future research of groundbreaking non‐invasive healthcare diagnosis and monitoring strategies, and beyond

    Effect of estimated plasma volume status and left atrial diameter on prognosis of patients with acute heart failure

    ObjectiveAcute heart failure (AHF) is a frequent cardiovascular emergency presenting with high mortality as well as readmission rates. The aim was to investigate the predictive value of estimated plasma volume status (ePVs) and left atrial diameter (LAD) for the prognosis of patients with AHF.MethodsClinical profiles were collected from 259 cases of AHF patients at the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University between September 2019 and October 2021.ResultsSix patients lost follow-up, resulting in 253 patients enrolled. Cardiogenic death and heart failure readmission during follow-up were defined as major cardiovascular events (MACE) group, other patients were defined as Non-MACE group. Apart from age, no significant differences were found between the two groups in demographics and comorbidities. The comparison between the two groups was statistically significant in terms of ePVs, LAD, and N-terminal-pro B-type natriuretic peptide (Nt-pro-BNP). On binary logistic regression analysis, ePVs (OR = 2.061, 95% CI 1.322∼3.214, P = 0.001), LAD (OR = 1.054, 95% CI 1.012∼1.098, P = 0.011), and Nt-pro-bnp (OR = 1.006, 95% CI 1.003∼1.010, P = 0.036) as predicting factors for MACE. Kaplan-Meier analysis indicated that the risk for cardiogenic death increasing with ePVs (p < 0.05).ConclusionEstimated plasma volume status and LADs have some predictive value in assessing cardiogenic death and heart failure readmission in patients with AHF

    Two Novel AGXT Mutations Cause the Infantile Form of Primary Hyperoxaluria Type I in a Chinese Family: Research on Missed Mutation

    Primary hyperoxaluria type 1 (PH1) is a rare metabolic disorder characterized by a defect in the liver-specific peroxisomal enzyme alanine-glyoxylate and serine-pyruvate aminotransferase (AGT). This disorder results in hyperoxaluria, recurrent urolithiasis, and nephrocalcinosis. Three forms of PH1 have been reported. Data on the infantile form of PH1 are currently limited in literature. Despite the fact that China is the most populated country in the world, only a few AGXT mutations have been reported in several Chinese PH1 patients. In the present study, we investigated a Chinese family in which two siblings are affected by the infantile form of PH1. Sanger sequencing was carried out on the proband, but the results were misleading. Two novel missense mutations (c.517T > C/p.Cys173Arg and c.667A > C/p.Ser223Arg) of the AGXT gene were successfully detected through whole-exome sequencing. These two mutations occurred in the highly conserved residues of the AGT. Four software programs predicted both mutations as the cause of the disease. A postmortem examination was performed and revealed the occurrence of global nephrocalcinosis on both kidneys. The crystals were collected and analyzed as calcium oxalate monohydrate. This study extends the knowledge on the clinical phenotype–genotype correlation of the AGXT mutation. That is, (i) two novel missense mutations were identified for the infantile form of PH1 and (ii) the same AGXT genotype caused the same infantile form of PH1 within the family

There are variant records of the years of his birth and death as well as of his place of birth. This article compares these records and concludes that Ye Qingchen died at the age of fifty and between April and May 1049 CE which is the first year of the Huangyou era during the reign of Emperor Renzong of Song, and was born in 1000 CE which is the third year of the Xianping era during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of Song. His choronym was Nanyang. His domicile of original was Wucheng, Huzhou, and he migrated to Changzhou, Suzhou. The article also presents Ye Qingchen’s biographical chronology

    Crystal Plasticity Modeling the Deformation in Nanodomained Heterogenous Structures

    Nanodomained heterogenous structures characterized by randomly dispersed nanograins (NGs) embedded in the coarser grains (CGs) have demonstrated an exciting potential to break the strength-ductility trade-off, providing high strength without the loss of ductility. Here, using a combination of discrete crystal plasticity finite element (discrete-CPFE) model and dislocation density-based CPFE model, we study the effects of grain size, volume fraction of nanograins on the strength and deformation in nanodomained materials. Our analysis shows that the overall flow stresses of nanodomained samples are equal or higher than the strengths predicted by rule of mixtures. Smaller NGs or higher volume fraction of NGs can make the nanodomained samples stronger, as they can be more effective to promote the dislocation accumulations inside the CGs and eventually raise the critical resolved shear stress for each slip system during the plastic flow. Areas surrounding NGs stored higher dislocation densities and less plastic strain, due to the restricted dislocation motion. Furthermore, NGs grain embedded in the CGs can effectively reduce the anisotropy of strength in the nanodomained samples

    Effect of the Grain Size and Distribution of Nanograins on the Deformation of Nanodomained Heterogeneous Nickel

    We studied the effect of embedded nanograins on the strength and deformation of nanodomained heterogeneous nickel (Ni) via a novel discrete-crystal plasticity model. Nanodomained structures exhibited higher strength than those of heterogeneous lamella structures and rule of mixtures. Due to the mismatch of strengths between the nanograins and coarse grains, geometrically necessary dislocations (GND) accumulated around nanograins and increased with the strain. In addition, smaller nanograins are more effective to generate GND in both nanodomained and heterogeneous lamella structures. These findings shed light on the role of dislocation mechanisms in the plasticity of heterogeneous nanostructured metals

    Crystal Plasticity Modeling of Fretting Fatigue Behavior of an Aluminum Alloy

    Aluminum alloy (AA)7075 is widely used to fabricate parts and components on aircrafts, which are subjected to contact loading that may induce fretting fatigue and catastrophic failure. In this work, a crystal plasticity finite element (CPFE) model accounting for the microstructural features is developed for simulating the fretting fatigue of AA7075-T651. A submodel technology is adopted to refine the contact region to obtain more accurate simulation data. An energy-based criterion is developed for prediction of crack initiation life. The hotspots for the fretting fatigue crack nucleation are identified by the maximum of plastic strain energy density. The proposed CPFE model achieves high accuracy on predicting the fretting fatigue crack initiation and validated by fretting fatigue experimental results
