[FR] Le présent essai prend pour cadre général une recherche dédiée à la clarification du concept de plan libre dans l uvre de Le Corbusier. Au-delà du sens originel que ce dernier lui a donné, ce concept est interprété par l auteur comme un oxymore. Cette figure discursive, en associant deux termes de sens opposés, crée un nouveau syncrétisme, résultat d un jeu de tensions internes à la pensée corbuséenne que l on peut considérer comme inhérent et spécifique à son mode de conception, au moins dans les années 20 et 30. C est cette optique qui, dans le présent article, sous-tend la lecture de la métaphore du jeu, fort présente dans les écrits corbuséens de l époque, et ce qu elle peut apporter à la compréhension de son oeuvre.[EN] The essay takes as its general framework a research dedicated to the clarification of the concept of freeplan in Le Corbusier s work. Beyond the original meaning given to it by Le Corbusier, this concept is interpretedby the author as an oxymoron. This discursive figure, by associating two terms with opposite meanings, createsa new syncretism, the result of an interplay of tensions internal to Le Corbusier s thought that can be consideredinherent and specific to his mode of conception, at least in the 1920s and 1930s. Human thyroid tumours, the puzzling lessons from E7 and RET/PTC3 transgenic mice

Human rearranged RET/PTC3 (papillary thyroid carcinoma) proto-oncogene and high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 E7 oncogene induces in the mouse a neoplastic transformation of thyroid follicular cells. We present a detailed immuno-histological study (170 mouse thyroids: RET/PTC3, E7, wild type, 2- to 10-month-old) with cell cycle proliferation and signalling pathway indicators. The characteristics of both models are different. There is an ‘oncogene dependent' cellular signature, maintained at all studied ages in the E7 model, less in the RET/PTC3 model. During tumour development a large heterogeneity occurred in the Tg-RET/PTC3 model within a same tumour or within a same thyroid lobe. The Tg-E7 model was less heterogeneous, with a dominant goitrous pattern. The solid tumour already described in the RET/PTC3 models associated with cribriform patterns, suggested ‘PTC spindle cell changes' as in humans PTC rather than the equivalent of the solid human PTC. Proliferation and apoptosis in the two thyroid models are related to the causal oncogene rather than reflect a general tumorigenic process. The thyroids of RET/PTC3 mice appeared as a partial and transient model of human PTCs, whereas the Tg-E7 mice do not belong to the usual PTC type

Derived categories of Burniat surfaces and exceptional collections

We construct an exceptional collection $\Upsilon$ of maximal possible length 6 on any of the Burniat surfaces with $K_X^2=6$, a 4-dimensional family of surfaces of general type with $p_g=q=0$. We also calculate the DG algebra of endomorphisms of this collection and show that the subcategory generated by this collection is the same for all Burniat surfaces. The semiorthogonal complement $\mathcal A$ of $\Upsilon$ is an "almost phantom" category: it has trivial Hochschild homology, and K_0(\mathcal A)=\bZ_2^6.Comment: 15 pages, 1 figure; further remarks expande
