    The influence of scalar unparticle on the production of multiple photons in the Randall- Sundrum model

    The influence of scalar unparticle on the production of multiple photons in the Randall- Sundrum model at muon colliders with the center of mass energy s=3−10\sqrt{s} = 3 - 10 TeV is evaluated in detail. The results indicate that the total cross-sections depend strongly on the polarization of the muon and antimuon beams, the collision energy s\sqrt{s}, the scaling dimension dUd_{U} of the unparticle operator OU\mathcal{O}_{U} and the energy scale ΛU\Lambda_{U}. Numerical evaluation shows that the cross - sections for the production of four - photons at the final state are much larger than the associated production of two - photons with the unparticle under the same conditions.Comment: 13 figures, 1 table. arXiv admin note: text overlap with arXiv:1807.0045

    Organizational Culture Factors Affect Employees’ Organizational Commitment: A Research in Ho Chi Minh City Logistics Enterprises, Vietnam

    Research aims: The research aims to evaluate several factors of organizational culture affecting the organizational commitment of employees in logistics enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam).Design/Methodology/Approach: The data were collected based on a survey of respondents who were employees working at logistics enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. The collected data, consisting of 227 survey questionnaires, were described through statistical analysis, checking Cronbach’s Alpha reliability assessment, employing Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), and testing the fit of the research model. Research findings: The results showcased that five components had a statistically significant impact on an employee’s organizational commitment, including (from high to low impact in order) consistency in governance policy, communication within the organization, training and development, rewards and recognition, and teamwork.Theoretical contribution/Originality: The study contributes to and supplements the array of organizational culture topics related to the commitment of employees at companies.Practitioner/Policy implication: The research contributes to the logistics companies' understanding of how to improve the organizational culture to maintain the loyalty of employees in the organization.Research limitation/Implication: The research limitation is that only Ho Chi Minh City logistics enterprises were chosen for the survey. However, there are many cities in Vietnam where logistics companies are located. Thus, the other research can be implemented in other regions in Vietnam and other countries for future studies

    High rate nitrogen removal by ANAMMOX internal circulation reactor (IC) for old landfill leachate treatment

    © 2017 Elsevier Ltd This study aimed to evaluate the performance of a high rate nitrogen removal lab-scale ANAMMOX reactor, namely Internal Circulation (IC) reactor, for old landfill leachate treatment. The reactor was operated with pre-treated leachate from a pilot Partial Nitritation Reactor (PNR) using a high nitrogen loading rate ranging from 2 to 10 kg N m−3 d−1. High rate removal of nitrogen (9.52 ± 1.11 kg N m−3 d−1) was observed at an influent nitrogen concentration of 1500 mg N L−1. The specific ANAMMOX activity was found to be 0.598 ± 0.026 gN2-N gVSS−1 d−1. Analysis of ANAMMOX granules suggested that 0.5–1.0 mm size granular sludge was the dominant group. The results of DNA analysis revealed that Candidatus Kueneniastuttgartiensis was the dominant species (37.45%) in the IC reactor, whereas other species like uncultured Bacteroidetes bacterium only constituted 5.37% in the system, but they were still responsible for removing recalcitrant organic matter

    We analyse the potential of the e+e− collisions to search for the radion in theRandall-Sundrum model, where compactification radius of the extra dimension isstabilized by the radion, which is a scalar field lighter than the graviton Kaluza- Klein states. The radion production in the high energy e+e− colliders withpolarization of e+, e− beams was studied in detail. Numerical evaluation showsthat if the radion mass is not too heavy with the mass order of GeV then thereaction can give observable cross section in high energy colliders with the highdegree of polarization

    Isolation an agar degradation Bacillus sp. AT6 and preliminary application for seaweed saccharification

    Background: Agar is a common polysaccharide found in nature. However, agar is strongly resisted to the degradation processing, leading to limitation of its application in various areas. Thus, finding an effective solution for agar saccharification significantly improves the economically effects of agar based substrates.Methods: Soil samples were collected from TienPhong Forestry Ltd. Company, ThuyXuan District, ThuaThien Hue province, Vietnam. Potential agar degrading bacteria were screened on a mineral salt agar medium. The isolate was identified based on 16S rRNA nucleotide sequence, morphological, physiological, and biochemical characteristics. Agarase production was evaluated by modification culture conditions including incubation time, shaking speed, and initial inoculum size. Molecular mass of extracellular agarase was determined by native SDS-PAGE. The effect of pH, temperature, metal ions, and organic solvents were conducted for enzyme characterization. Application of enzyme was investigated on seaweed saccharification.Result: An agar degrading bacterial strain was isolated from soils and identified as Bacillus sp. AT6. Maximal agarase accumulation obtained in the culture containing an inoculum size of 10% (v/v), shaking speed of 210 rpm, and 96 hours incubation. The agarase revealed a single band on zymogram analysis with an apparent molecular weight of 180 kDa. The optimal temperature and pH were 40°C and pH 8.0, respectively. All tested metal ions and organic solvents partially decreased enzyme activity. Treatment seaweed by agarase resulted in reducing sugars release present in the reaction, indicating the saccharification of seaweed was succeeded.Conclusion: Bacillus sp. AT6 is a new report of agarolytic bacteria that produces extracellular agarase enzymes. The present results promise strain AT6 is a great candidate for agar saccharification for industrial application

    The Role of Serial NT-ProBNP Level in Prognosis and Follow-Up Treatment of Acute Heart Failure after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery

    BACKGROUND: After coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, heart failure is still major problem. The valuable marker for it is needed. AIM: Evaluating the role of serial NT-proBNP level in prognosis and follow-up treatment of acute heart failure after CABG surgery. METHODS: The prospective, analytic study evaluated 107 patients undergoing CABG surgery at Ho Chi Minh Heart Institute from October 2012 to June 2014. Collecting data was done at pre- and post-operative days with measuring NT-proBNP levels on the day before operation, 2 hours after surgery, every next 24 h until the 5th day, and in case of acute heart failure occurred after surgery. RESULTS: On the first postoperative day (POD1), the NT-proBNP level demonstrated significant value for AHF with the cut-off point = 817.8 pg/mL and AUC = 0.806. On the second and third postoperative day, the AUC value of NT- was 0.753 and 0.751. It was statistically significant in acute heart failure group almost at POD 1 and POD 2 when analyzed by the doses of dobutamine, noradrenaline, and adrenaline (both low doses and normal doses). CONCLUSION: Serial measurement of NT-proBNP level provides useful prognostic and follow-up treatment information in acute heart failure after CABG surgery
