    Meningkatkan luasan tutupan vegetasi adalah salah satu upaya untuk berperan serta dalam meningkatkanpenyerapan gas rumah kaca yang menjadi pemicu munculnya Perubahan iklim. Terkait hal tersebut tumbuhan pakanmemiliki peran yang sangat strategis karena selain dapat menyediakan hijauan pakan juga dapat meningkatkantutupan vegetasi dengan memanfaatkan lahan kering dan bahkan lahan kritis untuk penanaman tumbuhan pakan.Meningkatnya pemberian pupuk kandang sapi dan pupuk bioslury dapat meningkatkan produksi dan kualitashijauan total rumput panikum atau paspalum yang ditanam bersama legume. Berat kering oven total hijauanrumput paspalum yang ditanam bersama rumput panikum dan legume Centrocema yang dipupuk dengan pupukkandang sapi yakni masing-masing sebesar 4,75 dan 4,36 t ha-1. Penggunaan pupuk organik akan menghasilkankualitas hijauan yang semakin baik apabila diterapkan pada kombinasi penanaman rumput panikum, paspalumdan leguminosa

    The experiment has been conducted in order to now the effect of Gliricidia sepium and Moringa oleifera leaves meal a source of protein in urea cassava block (UCB) to the digestibility dray matter and organic matter , VFA and ammonia concentration with rice straw diet. The experiment set in completely randomized design using three treatment. The treatment are: A (rise straw + UCB with Moringa; B (rise straw + UCB with Gliricidia sepium, and C (rise straw + UCB with Moringa and Gliricidia sepium). The observed variable are: dry matter, organic matter digestibility, volatile fatty acid, ammonia concentration, and pH rumen juice. From the result can be conclude that dray matter and organic matter digestibility in-vitro, VFA , ammonia and pH rumen juice from the three treatment, significantly deffren (P<0.05). The utilization of Glirisidia leaves meal as protein source in UCB, given the highest dray matter, and organic matter digestibility, VFA and ammonia compare to the utilization of Moringga leaves meal or the combination of both Glirisidia sepium and Moringga leaves meal

    Rural Agribusiness Development Program is a breakthrough program of Ministry of Agriculture for poverty reduction and employment, as well as for development gap reduction between central and regional regions and between sub-sectors. Ende Regency is one of beneficiary of Rural Agribusiness Development Program in East Nusa Tenggara province. The objectives of this study are assessing the success rate of the Rural Agribusiness Development Program in Ende Regency and assessing factors affecting the success of Rural Agribusiness Development Program in Ende Regency with survey method. The study population is the Farmers Group Association (GAPOKTAN) as the beneficiary of Rural Agribusiness Development Program in the year of 2010. Sampling is done randomly (random sampling) with a total of 30 GAPOKTAN. Data was analyzed quantitative descriptively and relation analysis with partial least squares (PLS). The success rate of the Rural Agribusiness Development Program in Ende Regency is classified as less successful with the score of 2.1. Simultaneously, all the exogenous factors: Organizational Factor (X1), Rural Agribusiness Development Program Management Factor (X2), Agribusiness Factor (X3), Entrepreneurial Factor (X4), Agribusiness Management Factor (X5), and Leadership Factor (X6) collectively have strong influence towards the success of Rural Agribusiness Development Program. Partially, not all of the six variables affecting the success of the program, in which the Agribusiness variable has no influence towards the success of the Rural Agribusiness Development Program. Suggestions may be submitted to this study are the enhancement of the Farmers Group Association Boards capability as the facilitators by conducting comparative study to regencies or provincies whose Rural Agribusiness Development Programs are successful in conducting trainings, that the business can be developed that absorb labours, intensive supervission of the government and monitoring and evaluation by the regency coordinating team related to financial management

    Perbandingan Metode Inkuiri Terbimbing Dan Bebas Termodifikasi Terhadap Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar

    The purpose of this study to determine: (1) The average difference between the use of student motivation guided inquiry method with modified free inquiry method, (2) the average difference in student learning outcomes between the use of guided inquiry with the inquiry method freely modified. Population were all eighth grade students in the second semester in the SMP Negeri 1 Candipuro, while samples taken VIIId the class as a class using guided inquiry and VIIIe class as a class that uses a modified method of free inquiry. Sampling technique using cluster random sampling. The results from this research is: (1) There is a difference in mean average student motivation between the use of guided inquiry method with the modified method of free inquiry, (2) There is a difference in average student learning outcomes between the use of guided inquiry with modified method of free inquiry. The average value of learning outcomes in the classroom guided inquiry is 70.87 while in the class of non-modified inquiry is 66.21 and the average value of motivation in classroom guided inquiry is 69.57. while in the class of non-modified inquiry is 65.90

    Ipteks bagi Masyarakat/IbM telah dilaksanakan di Kelompok Ternak Sapi Bali Bina Satwa I (mitra I) dan Bina satwa III (mitra II) Desa Abiantuwung, Kediri Tabanan dalam optimalisasi pemanfaatan limbah pada pengembangan peternakan sapi Bali. Teknologi produksi bioinokulan berbasis limbah cairan rumen sapi Bali Bali-bio dan pemanfaatan dalam produksi silase pakan berbasis limbah dan pupuk organik didesiminasikan kepada kedua mitra melalui kegiatan penyuluhan, pelatihan singkat, dan pembentukan demoplot. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan partisifasi mitra dalam seluruh kegiatan sangat tinggi, kegiatan penyuluhan dan pelatihan singkat diikuti 100% anggota kedua mitra serta 53,3% mitra I dan 60% mitra II mengajukan permasalahan produksi ternak sapi Bali dan tata cara pemanfaatan limbah. Pada pelaksanaan kegiatan demoplot diketahui transfer teknologi produksi bioinokulan Bali-bio, silase pakan berbasis limbah dan pupuk organik dapat terlaksana dengan baik, 73,3% mitra I dan 80% mitra II dapat memproduksi produk secara mandiri dengan kualitas baik. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan dapat disimpulkan desiminasi teknologi di kedua mitra telah terlaksana dengan baik dengan tingkat partisipasi mitra dan daya adopsi ipteks yang cukup tinggi

    PENGARUH TEPUNG DAUN GAMAL DAN DAUN KELOR DALAM UREA CASSAVA BLOK (UCB) TERHADAP KECERNAAN, KADAR VFA, DAN NH3 IN-VITRO

    ABSTRAK Penelitian telah dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang pengaruh tepung daun gamal dan daun kelor sebagai sumber protein dalam urea cassava blok (UCB) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, kadar VFA, dan NH3 cairan rumen pakan jerami padi secara invitro. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan mempergunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Sehingga secara keseluruhan terdapat 15 unit penelitian. Adapun ketiga perlakuan tersebut adalah: Perlakuan A (jerami padi + UCB yang ditambah tepung daun kelor); B (jerami padi + UCB yang ditambah tepung daun gamal), dan C (jerami padi + UCB yang ditambah tepung daun kelor dan daun gamal). Varibel yang diamati adalah kecernaan bahan kering (KCBK) , kecernaan bahan organik (KCBO) in-vitro, produksi vollatile fatty acid (VFA), produksi NH3, dan pH supernatan. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa KCBK, KCBO invitro, VFA, NH3, dan pH supernatan pada ketiga perlakuan berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Penggunaan daun gamal sebagai sumber protein pada UCB menghasilkan KCBK, KCBO, VFA, NH3, tertinggi dibandingkan dengan daun kelor maupun kombinasi antara daun gamal dan daun kelor.     Kelurahan Kesiman is an administrative village located in the district of East Denpasar. Although the village Kesiman adjacent to the village of Sanur known for its tourism development, but the village is classified as a low level of rural welfare in the city of Denpasar. This is shown by the family’s real income and welfare families are still relatively low. The livelihoods of residents of this village mostly as laborers/employees/workers and services in part of small farmers. Given their relatively low incomes but basic needs are relatively high in urban areas so that they need to seek additional income from a sideline. Therefore, they need creative competencies other than those already owned. One of a growing business in this region is the cultivation of freshwater fish such as catfish and tilapia. Increased cultivation and consumption of catfish as a species of freshwater fish are more loved by the people in this region led to the holding of training programs cultivation and post harvest processing of freshwater fish such as efforts to increase the competence creative community to improve social welfare. Freshwater fish cultivation covering tarpaulin pond making techniques, seed selection, seeding, food selection including the selection of additional food, and crop production. Post-harvest processing of freshwater fish include catfish processing practices into some foods such as shredded catfish, catfish nuggets, meatballs catfish, and special fried catfish. The training program was named Program Desa Vokasi, attended by 25 participants and held by a foundation and supported by government through related agencies. Welcome and community support for the implementation of this program indicated a very large and enthusiastic participation by the participants in the implementation of activities. The assessment results of the product in the evaluation of the implementation of this program is considered successfully by the instructors
