ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF FINANCIAL AUDIT - IN NEW DIMENSION

We think that financial institutions have a greater social responsibility to develop theircustomers’ financial culture than to support a football team. We assert that nowadaysfinancial institutions have a responsibility to be able to continue to operate banks withoutauxiliary state support. We believe that auditors, who for decades certified the financialreports of banks whose balance sheets were fictitious and whose depositors’ andshareholders' money was not safe, played no small role in the development of the recentfinancial crisis. Consequently we hold that the auditors’ greater social responsibility isunavoidable. On the other hand, after the crisis, due to the fact that social responsibility hascome to the fore, auditors also have to prepare for the challenge that corporate reports areincreasingly integrated reports which, in addition to mandatory economic information, alsovoluntarily impart data on social and environmental impact and activities

A társadalmi-gazdasági folyamatok vizsgálatának fontos és történelmileg egyre inkább az érdeklődés középpontjába kerülő dimenzióját jelenti azok térbelisége. Valamennyi fejlődéstörténeti korszak általános jellemzője az egyenlőtlen területi fejlődés. Hazánkban és Romániában is mély gazdaságtörténeti gyökerei vannak a fejlettségbéli differenciálódásnak. A rendszerváltással bekövetkező gazdasági válságjegyek az országos fejlettséget meghatározó "szakadék" elmélyüléséhez vezettek. Világossá vált, hogy az eddigi területfejlesztési politika és eszközrendszer nem elegendő. A leszakadás megfékezését és a közeledést a külföldi területfejlesztési források uniós csatlakozást követő minél nagyobb mértékű megszerzése jelenti. A piacgazdaságra való áttérés óta fokozódó fejlettségbéli eltérések tompítását kívánja szolgálni a Duna-Körös-Maros-Tisza interregionális együttműködés a keleti, délkeleti határ mellékén. Ennek megfelelően az eurorégióval kapcsolatos megoldandó feladatokat és lehetőségeket is megpróbáljuk feltárni. Vizsgálatunk alapvető célja a magyar és román határ menti területi egységek gazdasági fejlettségének az összehasonlítása a centrum-periféria sajátosságok függvényében

A DUNA-KÖRÖS-MAROS-TISZA EURORÉGIÓ GAZDASÁGI FEJLETTSÉGÉNEK ELEMZÉSE A RÉGIÓK EURÓPÁJÁBAN

A new dimension of the study of the social economic processes is getting more and more into the highlight, namely their regional effect. All the eras of the development history are generally featured by the unequal regional development. In Hungary and in Romania as well the regional differences in the development have deep roots in the economic history. The signs of the economic crises emerged after the transition of the economy has led to a deepening gap featuring the development of the country. It became clear that the measures and the policy of the regional development applied so far are not satisfactory. The growing access to the funds intended to serve the regional development can be a tool to narrow the gap and to line up after our joining to the EU. The Duna-Körös-Maros-Tisza interregional co-operation along the Eastern, South-eastern border was set up with the aim to narrow the development gap that has been widening since introducing the market economy. On the ground of this we intend to highlight the tasks to be solved and the facilities to be discovered.
