International audienceLa Nouvelle-Zélande a eu voici une dizaine d'année une politique volontariste de réduction des interventions publiques dans les activités économiques. Quelles sont les conséquences de ce choix sur la stabilité des activités des entreprises de la filière vin ? A partir d'un questionnement sur le sens et les attributs de l'intervention de l'Etat et des modalités de coordination entre entreprises participant à une même chaîne de valeur, les auteurs constatent que le désengagement de l'Etat n'a été que partiel. Les entreprises ont su mettre en place des dispositifs de régulation améliorant leur efficacité et font appel à la force publique lorsque cela est nécessaire

peer reviewedA recent study revealed the presence of 0+ bullhead (Cottus gobio) in a deeply modified (canalized) stretch of the Belgian River Meuse in Tihange (Huy), in which suitable spawning grounds for bullheads are absent. We suggested that these 0+ bullheads might reveal dispersion from local upstream tributaries. To assess this hypothesis, we used otolith microchemistry to compare element fingerprints between bullheads samples originating from four rivers of the Meuse basin with a sample of bullhead of the River Meuse in Tihange. Some elements detected by ICPMS analysis revealed anthropogenic disturbance, like metallurgic industries outlet (Fe, Cr, Mn). Among other elements, Sr was the most appropriate to discriminate bullhead stocks. We observed that the Meuse sample was not linked with the populations of two upstream tributaries (Hoyoux and Samson), nor with the two other rivers considered (Ambleve and Aisne). These results confirm that otolith microchemistry allows bullhead stocks discrimination within a small part of the River Meuse basin. Moreover, our hypothesis of tributaries contribution to explain the presence of bullheads in the River Meuse in Tihange is inferred, consequently bullheads are probably able to spawn on alternative spawning grounds in the River Meuse itself

Home and the World: Travel, Translation and the Home in Bengali Modernity Placing ourselves at the vanishing point of market "globalisation", this article is aimed at analysing how "modernity" came to the Indian people, particularly Bengalis, based on a reading of travelogues ranging over two and a half centuries, from the late 18th century to the early 19lh century. The successive generations of travellers that formed as such ; in relation to the British occupation each : had its own system of historicity. Through these systems, a plan gradually crystallised to remodel time and space by rooting modernity in everyday life.
