Os autores apresentam uma revisão sobre a síndrome da frouxidão palpebral, uma condição oftalmológica pouco comum, freqüentemente associada a anomalias sistêmicas e pouquíssimo diagnosticada tanto por oftalmologistas como por clínicos gerais.
