The study aims to investigate whether or not there is an acute effect of dynamic and static core exercises applied to footballer children with 12-14 years of age on their physical performances. The experimental method with pre-test and post-test pattern and control group has been used in the study. A sampling of the study has been created from the athletes between 12-14 years of age and playing in a football team in a private school. A total of 48 students have participated voluntarily as dynamic core group (DCG, n=15), static core group (SCG, n=15) and Control Group (CG, n=15). Static and dynamic core exercises with 30-35 minutes and 3 days have been applied during 10 weeks to the study groups. Pre-test measurements of height, weight, vertical jump, pull-up, standing long jump, flamingo balance, flexibility hand grip strength and plank have been taken from child athletes before exercises. After obtained data has been applied in a computer environment, arithmetic mean (x) and standard deviation (ss) of DCG, SCG and CG groups have been taken and Paired Samples t-test has been applied for the differences between pre-test and post-test. Significance level has been studied in p>0.05 level. According to the findings, static and dynamic core exercises of 10 weeks have exhibited significant differences according to the performances of control group athletes. (p<0.05). In addition to this, it is observed that physical performance values of dynamic core exercises are better when compared with the group performing static core exercises. As a result, a contribution can be provided to development periods of child athletes with core exercise to be applied. Also, the fact that there are dynamic core exercises of movements within exercise program will affect strength developments much more when compared with static movements. It is contemplated that applying dynamic and static exercises in combination will affect their developments much more efficiently.  Article visualizations

This study aims to evaluate the physical fitness improvement after 8 weeks individual strength and conditioning program on B1 Turkish National Football Team, to reveal their motoric differences and to identify strengths and weaknesses of athletes. 11 male athletes (age ranging between 25,09 ± 3,53) in B1 Turkish National Football Team have participated in this study. Out of these athletes, 9 of whom account for B1 visually impaired football players (footballer) and 2 of whom account for a goalkeeper with no disability. Vertical jump, kneel down health ball throwing, sitting and reaching, 20 m speed, auditory reaction, grip strength, right-left had, pro-agility, anaerobic strength and cooper measurements have been applied with the interval of 8 weeks as pre-test and post-test. All statistical analyses have been conducted by using SPSS 13.0 packet program. While a significant difference has been found in 0.05 level in speed, agility, anaerobic strength and maximal oxygen capacity of the B1 football national team (p<0,05), no significant difference has been found out although there is an average improvement between pre-test and post-test in other variables. (p>0,05). No significant difference has been found out between pre-test and post-test statistical values of the variables applied to B1 football national team goalkeepers. (p>0,05). As a result, an improvement in positive level has been observed in overall performance parameters of B1 football national team athletes and individual strength and condition training prepared according to 8 weeks pre-test results. Raising interest of B1 football national team goalkeepers to the training and creating a competitive environment could prove useful in increasing overall performance levels.  Article visualizations

This study aimed to investigate whether the 10-weeks core exercises applied to female swimmers of 11- 13 age group have an acute effect on their physical performance. Forty athletes from FMV Işık Sports Club participated in the study voluntarily. The athletes divided into two groups (research and control) and 20 m speed, vertical jump, shuttle, right-left grip, standing long jump, balance and flexibility measurements were taken from these two groups. In the analyze of the obtained data in addition to descriptive statistical methods such as Mean (X) and Standard Paired-Samples t-test was used for pre-test and post-test differentiation between the groups. The findings were evaluated at .05 significance level in 95% confidence interval. According to analyze results, after the 10 weeks core trainings, significant differences were found between the participants’ speed, vertical jump, balance, shuttle, right-left hand grip and elasticity results. As a result, the core training which is applied according to before adolescence or in adolescence contributes to physical performance of child athletes
