Pattern Based Mining For Relevant Document Extraction
This paper presents efficient mining algorithm for discovering patterns from text collection and search for useful and interesting patterns. For extracting useful information we used pattern based model containing frequent sequential patterns and pruned the meaningless patterns. Here an innovative and effective technique is used for pattern discovery which includes SPM & FP growth algorithms for pattern mining and applies the processes of pattern deploying, pattern evolving, to improve the effectiveness of using and updating discovered patterns for finding relevant and interesting information
Techno-economic viability of rice-fish culture in Assam
The economic viability of rice-fish culture practiced by the fanners of Assam in North-
Eastern part of India was evaluated using techno-economic approach. The fanners followed
extensive level farming practice using low input technology. Cobb-Douglas production
function was used to determine the input-output relationship of the system. The cost and
return evaluation shows that rice-fish culture can be a more profitable option than
monoculture of paddy

Reorienting fisheries economics education in India
Social sciences act as catalysts for Biological sciences. The implications of social
sciences whether it be extension, economics, statistics or any other discipline, had taken
a long stride in its development and applicability from its general nature to the specificity
in the biological sciences especially in the Agricultural and allied sectors. There is no
second thought in the dictum "Man is a social animal". Social sciences personifies human
behaviour. There are no activities or issues which remain untouched by these sciences
Economic analysis of fisheries projects
Project formulation is an important part of entrepreneurship development. Fisheries sector, hosting a gamut of entrepreneurship venture, corroborates the importance of technical know how in project
