    Generation of mode-locked pulse in non self-starting Ti:sapphire laser

    Generation of mode locked pulse from non-self starting Titanium Sapphire laser is reported. Initially the output power of the Ti:sapphire laser was detected at various cavity lengths. The result shown that the stability region was found in the range between 104 to 106 mm. However the mode locked signal was only realized within 100 micron a distance apart at the near boundary of the stability region. The distribution of the mode lock pulsed in the stable zone is operating in a normal Gaussian profile

    Generalized Fuzzy Linguistic Bicubic B-Spline Surface Model for Uncertain Fuzzy Linguistic Data

    A fuzzy linguistic data set that is uncertain is difficult to analyze and describe in the form of a smooth and continuous generic figure. Therefore, the study aims to develop a new model of a B-spline surface using a different approach of a crisp and fuzzy linguistic point relation with three types of linguistic function: low L, medium Mi and high H. These linguistic functions are defined first to introduce the fuzzy linguistic point relation. Then, a new algorithm of the fuzzy linguistic bicubic B-spline surface model is presented to convert fuzzy linguistic data into fuzzy linguistic control points. In addition, a numerical example of fuzzy linguistic data is considered at the end of this study to visualize the suggested model. Thus, the relation between the fuzzy linguistic data points can be analyzed to present another area of knowledge in which symmetry phenomena occur. The symmetry here plays an important role in solving the uncertain fuzzy linguistic data problem by using the suggested model

    Intuitionistic fuzzy piecewise Bézier curve modeling with C1 and G1 continuities for complex data

    It is difficult to visualize some curves due to the data complexity. Complex data that have intuitionistic and big data features are hard to be processed and shown entirely in one curve. Therefore, in this paper, intuitionistic fuzzy Bézier curve with piecewise function is introduced. Firstly, the complex data is defined as intuitionistic fuzzy control point. Later, the control point in cubic case is blended with the Bernstein polynomial to produce a single piece of curve. The same process is repeated for other control points. The pieces of the curve are then combined until C1 and G1 continuities. Finally, the resulting curve is visualized, and its algorithm is shown at the end of this paper

    In situ measurement of gold nanoparticle production

    The closeness of the experimental and theoretical values enables the development of an in situ characterization technique to monitor and analyze the production of gold nanoparticles (NPs), overcoming the use of high-end and expensive instrumentation. Gold NPs below the radius size of 10 nm were successfully synthesized in accordance with a few working parameters of pulse laser ablation in a liquid technique. In this report, the size, shape, concentration, and aggregation properties of gold NPs were estimated by the Mie-Gans model based on a reliable and interactive real-time absorption spectroscopy. The major features can be an important means toward determination of efficient process measures, productivity of gold NPs generated, and efficiency of the mass ablation rate. The accuracy in the measurement is confirmed via transmission electron microscopy analysis

    Elements in movie trailers that motivates audience to watch movies in Malaysia: a quantitative approach

    Movie trailers are known as tools for selling a movie. The success of a movie is largely attributed to a good trailer presentation. What makes a good movie trailer? What elements are needed to make a good trailer? This paper uncovers the necessary elements of a movie trailer needed to motivate audiences to watch a movie in Malaysia. This quantitative study constructed a survey of elements of movie trailers found in the literature. Google Form was distributed to 250 respondents, purposively selected for this stud and data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The data collected in this study found 7 elements in trailers that have influenced audiences to watch movies in Malaysia, which are – Color, Storylines, scene sequence, three-act structure, director or the production company, cast (actors and actresses); and cinematography. The data obtained can help filmmakers and film marketers in Malaysia to see what element movie trailers can be utilized to help increase their movie sales
