Organoclorine pesticides (OCP) are the first class of compounds of synthetic pesticides introduced in agricultural and civil uses to counteract noxious insects and insect-born disease. In general they are lipophilic compounds with noticeable chemical and environmental stability. They tend to concentrate in the higher trophic organisms, as they amplify through the food chain. Food is generally recognized as the main source of human intake of pesticides, their metabolites and their residues. Preparation of samples, especially in food samples for quantitative analysis of organochlorined pesticides has an important role in recognizing the real levels. For the analysis of these micro-trace compounds in food samples is a constant search for new analytical methods. The most important steps of their chemical analysis usually are the extraction, purification, fractionation and concentration. In this study, were analyzed samples of fruit and vegetables from the market of Peja, Kosovo in September 2011. Ultrasonic extraction was used for extracting pesticide residues from samples. Clean-up procedure was performed using firstly sulfuric acid followed a second clean-up procedure in an “open” florisil column. The organochlorine pesticides detected were HCHs (a-, b-, γ- and d-isomers) and the DDT-related chemicals (o,p-DDE, p,p-DDE, p,p-DDD, p,p-DDT), hexachlorobenzene (HCB), heptachlor, heptachlor epoxide, methoxychlor and Aldrine’s. Analyses were done with capillary column Rtx-5, 60m long, 0.32mm internal diameter, 0.25 μm film thicknesses on a gas chromatograph Dani 1000, with μECD detector. The found concentrations of the chlorinated pesticides were lower than accepted levels for studied sample

The object of study is investigation of suitability of certain cultivars of wheat (Triticum aestivum L) of Hungary. In research have been 5 cultivars of wheat: Subo, Kolo, Marshall, Beres, meanwhile as comparative cultivar Europe 90. Investigations were conducted in Dukagjin Plain (in Arbnesh in agricultural institute research farm of Kosova, Peje-Dukagjini Plain, Research, have been tested yield (kg/ha), weight, (of 1000 seeds in gram), hectoliter weight (kg), protein content (%), humidity (%), gluten and sedimentation. Agro-climatic and pedological data in Kosova, compared with yields obtained in culture wheat show no use of genetic potential of cultivars that are cultivate in. For this reason should be applied a contemporary agro-technics to be use genetic potential, and got higher yields. The results had indicated that there were significant statistical differences of different levels for researched features to all cultivars in plots compared with the standard (Europe 90) and between localities. Keywords: winter wheat, weight of 1000 seeds in gram, hectoliter weight kg, yield kg/ha

The object of study is investigation of suitability of certain cultivars of wheat (Triticum aestivum L) of Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia. In research have been only 5 cultivars of wheat: Kolo, Marshall, Illyria, Super Zhitarka and Lara meanwhile as comparative cultivars was Europe 90. Investigations were conducted in two agro-climatic regions of Kosova (in Arbnesh the research farm of the Agricultural Institute of Kosova, Peja - Dukagjini Plain, and in Pestova - Kosova Plain, Research "Pestova" private property company, have been tested yield (kg / ha), weight (1000 seeds in gram), hectolitar weight (kg), protein content (%), humidity (%), gluten and sedimentation. Agro-climatic and pedological data in Kosova, compared with obtained yields in culture wheat shows no use of genetic potential of cultivars that are cultivated in. For this reason should be applied a contemporary agrotechnics to be used genetical potential, and reached higher yields. The obtained results indicat that have been significant statistical differences of diverse levels for investigated features of all cultivars included in plots compared with the standard (Europe 90) and between localities. Keywords: small-scale trials, winter wheat, yield, 1000 seeds weight in gram, hectoliter weight kg, yield kg/ha

Study was conducted during three consecutive years, 2018-2020, in Deçan of Kosovo. There was studied the expression of the main fruit indicators of six new planted apple cultivars. Mean fruit weight varied from 93.3 g (Gold Delicious clone B) to 184.2 g (Jonagored). Saturn apple cultivar produced the largest size fruit (80 x 84 mm), while Montear Gala produced the lowest size fruit (58 x 70 mm). Fruit dry matter content varies from 14.6% (Saturn and Montear Gala cultivars) to 16.5% (Royal Gala), and 16.7% (Gold Delicious clone B). Fruit sugar content varies from 11.33% (Royal Gala) to 12.7% (Saturn). Total fruit acidity varies from 0.250 mg/100 g fresh fruit (Saturn) to 0.395 mg/100 g fresh fruit (Royal Gala). There were found significative differencies between cultivars for the main tested fruit indicators. There was found a significative relationship between some fruit indicators, as well
