with the remarkable growth in image processing, the requirements for dealing out with blurred images is difficulty in a variety of image processing applications. In this paper presents the restoration of blurred images which gets degraded due to diverse atmospheric and environmental conditions, Blur is a key determinant in the sensitivity of image quality, so it is essential to restore the original image. The research outcomes exhibit the major identified bottleneck for restoration is to deal with the blurred images and also a set of attempts have been executed in image restoration using multiple moment algorithms. However the precise results are not been proposed and demonstrated in the comparable researches. Also detail understanding for applications of moment algorithms for image restoration and demonstrating most suitable moment method is current requirements for research. Hence in this work we employ most accepted moment algorithms to exhibit the effect of moments for image restoration and the performance of the moment algorithms such as the Hu, Zernike and Legendre moments is evaluated on image with different blurring lengths. Moreover the effect of moment algorithms is also demonstrated in order to find the optimal setting of orders for image restoration. The final outcome of this work is a stable version of MATLAB based application to visually demonstrate the performance difference of Hu, Zernike and Legendre moments. The relative performance of the application is also been demonstrated with the help of multiple image datasets of biometric identifier such as fingerprint, hand palm and human face

    Guillain-Barre Syndrome: A Case Report

Guillain-Barre syndrome (GBS) is a complicated degenerative neurological disorder which can be acute or chronic in nature. It is an acquired condition which is characterized by progressive, symmetrical, proximal and distal tingling and weakness. Muscle stretch reflexes are decreased to absent and loss of sensation is common. Etiology remains unclear but pathophysiology includes demyelination of spinal nerve roots. Death is rare. Early diagnosis and prompt referral should occur in severe cases due to the incidence of potential ventilation   failure and cardiovascular instability in some patients. The case of a 26-year-old male presenting to a physician is described. The importance of a correct diagnosis by the physician and the subsequent management is reviewed. Key words: Guillain-Barre syndrome, extremity weakness, peripheral nerves, traum

Context: Anatomical knowledge about length of trachea is essential for anesthetists, surgeons, radiologists & sonologists. In anesthetic procedure, the knowledge of the length of trachea helps to select correct sizes of endotracheal tubes. Study Design: A descriptive type of study. Place and period of study: The study was carried out in the Department of Anatomy, Sir Salimulla

Quality Control Tests for Ophthalmic Pharmaceuticals: Pharmacopoeial Standards and Specifications

The therapeutically performance of the pharmaceuticals must be constant and expectable. In order to claim a pharmaceutical to be a quality drug, it must fulfill certain standards and specifications. The quality of pharmaceuticals is strongly related to the patient’s well-being. Quality control (QC) is an historical process in which proof is obtained that the appropriate level of quality has been achieved. QC can have no effect on the quality of the pharmaceuticals. It is merely a measuring process. QC must ensure that all the finished products contain active ingredients that comply with the qualitative and quantitative composition of the finished product described in the product registration dossier. The books containing the standards for drugs and other related substances are known as pharmacopeias. The pharmacopoeias contain a list of drugs and other related substances regarding their source, description, tests, formulas for preparing the same, action and uses, doses, storage conditions, etc. Ophthalmic pharmaceuticals are agents specially designed to be applied to the eyes. Among the drug products, ophthalmic pharmaceuticals are most important since eye is very sensitive and is easily irritated if the composition of the ophthalmic pharmaceutical is not suitable. The QC tests for ophthalmic pharmaceuticals are different in the different pharmacopoeias like IP, BP, and USP. Therefore the aim of this review was to mention QC tests for ophthalmic pharmaceuticals based on quality requirements of the different pharmacopoeias
