Coordinación entre los profesionales de Atención Temprana y las escuelas infantiles en Castellón

Abstract: The coordination of teachers with Early Intervention professionals facilitates the inclusion of the child in order to fully develop all their areas of development and at the same time improves the quality of family life. The objective of this work is to identify if there is coordination between early childhood education teachers and early childhood intervention professionals in the province of Castellón (Valencian Community). For this, a questionnaire created from two others with the appropriate modifications and validated by expert judgment has been used. A sample of 33 teachers and 22 Early Childhood Intervention professionals was obtained. The results indicated the need to improve coordination between both agents and more information and training for teachers. A good organization at the beginning of the school year, constant communication, continuous training, and integrated visits in the classroom by the early intervention professional will allow the intervention with the child and her family to be optimal.Resumen: La coordinación de los docentes con los profesionales de Atención Temprana facilita la inclusión del niño para desarrollar al máximo todas sus áreas del desarrollo y al mismo tiempo mejora la calidad de vida familiar. El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar si existe coordinación entre los docentes de educación infantil y los profesionales de Atención Temprana en la provincia de Castellón (Comunidad Valenciana). Para ello se ha utilizado un cuestionario creado a partir de otros dos con las modificaciones oportunas y validado por un juicio de expertos. Se obtuvo una muestra de 33 maestros y 22 profesionales de Atención Temprana. Los resultados indicaron sobre la necesidad de mejorar la coordinación entre ambos agentes y de una mayor información y formación de los docentes. Una buena organización al inicio del curso escolar, una comunicación constante, una formación continua y visitas integradas en el aula por parte del profesional de Atención Temprana permitirá que la intervención con el niño y su familia sea óptima
