J_AW,WA functions in Passarino-Veltman reduction
In this paper we continue to study a special class of Passarino-Veltman
functions J arising at the reduction of infrared divergent box diagrams. We
describe a procedure of separation of two types of singularities, infrared and
mass singularities, which are absorbed in simple C0 functions. The infrared
divergences of C0's can be regularized then by any method: photon mass,
dimensionally or by the width of an unstable particle. Functions J, in turn,
are represented as certain linear combinations of the standard D0 and C0
Passarino-Veltman functions. The former are free of both types of singularities
and are expressed as explicit and compact linear combinations of logarithms and
dilogarithm functions. We present extensive comparisons of numerical results
with those obtained with the aid of the LoopTools package
Radiative Corrections to Neutrino Deep Inelastic Scattering Revisited
Radiative corrections to neutrino deep inelastic scattering are revisited.
One-loop electroweak corrections are re-calculated within the automatic SANC
system. Terms with mass singularities are treated including higher order
leading logarithmic corrections. Scheme dependence of corrections due to weak
interactions is investigated. The results are implemented into the data
analysis of the NOMAD experiment. The present theoretical accuracy in
description of the process is discussed.Comment: 19 pages, two figures are added, discussion of theoretical

Radiative Corrections to Longitudinal and Transverse Gauge Boson and Higgs Production
Radiative corrections to gauge boson and Higgs production computed recently
using soft-collinear effective theory (SCET) require the one-loop high-scale
matching coefficients in the standard model. We give explicit expressions for
the matching coefficients for the effective field theory (EFT) operators for q
qbar -> VV and q qbar -> phi^+ phi for a general gauge theory with an arbitrary
number of gauge groups. The group theory factors are given explicitly for the
standard model, including both QCD and electroweak corrections.Comment: 16 pages, 49 figure
Four-fermion production with RACOONWW
RACOONWW is an event generator for e+e- --> WW --> 4fermions(+gamma) that
includes full tree-level predictions for e+e- --> 4f and e+e- --> 4f+gamma as
well as O(alpha) corrections to e+e- --> 4f in the so-called double-pole
approximation. We briefly sketch the concept of the calculation on which this
generator is based and present some numerical results.Comment: 9 pages, latex, 6 postscript files, to appear in the proceedings of

QED corrections with partial angular integration to fermion pair production in e+e- - annihilation
Analytic formulae are derived for the complete photon energy spectrum due to
QED corrections to fermion pair production in case of a limited angular
acceptance for the final state fermions. After a numerical integration over the
energy of non-observed photons, this corresponds to typical experimental
conditions at LEP/SLC.Comment: 8 pages, Latex, text is unchanged compared to preprint and

Pinning down the kaon form factors in K^+ -> mu^+ nu_mu gamma decay
We find that the normal muon polarization in the decay K->mu nu_mu gamma is
very sensitive to the values of the kaon vector F_V and axial-vector F_A form
factors. It is shown that the ongoing KEK-E246 experiment can definitely
determine the signs of the sum of the form factors if their difference is fixed
from other considerations. This method can also verify the form factor values
and signs obtained from the K^+ -> l^+ nu_l e^+ e^- decays. A new experiment
with sensitivity to the normal and transverse muon polarizations of about 10^-4
will provide a unique possibility to determine the F_V and F_A values with a
few percent accuracy.Comment: revtex, 5 pages, 2 figures. Minor corrections made for the journal

The order and corrections to the decay width of the neutral Higgs boson to the pair
We present the analytical expressions for the contributions of the order
and corrections to the
decay width of the Standard Model Higgs boson into the -pair. The
numerical value of the mixed QED and QCD correction of order
is comparable with the previously calculated
terms in the perturbative series for .Comment: LaTeX 5 pages, accepted for publication in Pisma Zh. Eksp. Teor. Fiz.

Leptonic Decays of the W-Boson in a Strong Electromagnetic Field
The probability of W-boson decay into a lepton and a neutrino in a strong
electromagnetic field is calculated. On the basis of the method for deriving
exact solutions to relativistic wave equations for charged particles, an exact
analytic expression is obtained for the partial W-decay width at an arbitrary
value of the external field strength. It is found that, in the region of
comparatively weak fields, field-induced corrections to the standard decay
width of the W-boson in a vacuum are about a few percent. In these conditions
at first we observe the decrease of the W-boson partial decay width with the
increase of the external field strength parameter. At absolute minimum the
W-width deviates from the corresponding vacuum value by a factor 0,926. Then
with further augmentation of the background field intensity the W-boson decay
width grows monotonously. In superstrong fields the partial W-width is greater
than the corresponding one in vacuum in a dozen of times.Comment: LaTex file, 19 pages, 2 Postscript figur
Magnetic-field-dependent zero-bias diffusive anomaly in Pb oxide-n-InAs structures: Coexistence of two- and three-dimensional states
The results of experimental and theoretical studies of zero-bias anomaly
(ZBA) in the Pb-oxide-n-InAs tunnel structures in magnetic field up to 6T are
presented. A specific feature of the structures is a coexistence of the 2D and
3D states at the Fermi energy near the semiconductor surface. The dependence of
the measured ZBA amplitude on the strength and orientation of the applied
magnetic field is in agreement with the proposed theoretical model. According
to this model, electrons tunnel into 2D states, and move diffusively in the 2D
layer, whereas the main contribution to the screening comes from 3D electrons.Comment: 8 double-column pages, REVTeX, 9 eps figures embedded with epsf,
