Health Behaviors are one of the most important factors that determine health. Physical activity plays an important role in the prevention of diseases i.e. hypertension, coronary artery disease, diabetes type 2, stroke and overweight and obesity. In the study this in the clinic of cardiac surgery University Hospital # 1 in Bydgoszcz in the period from October to November 2016 uses the International physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ).  Encouraging patients coronary artery bypass grafting for physical activity before the procedure should be to educate patients about the importance of traffic before the operations and promote health promoting behaviors i.e.. correct diet and maintain a proper body weight, control blood pressure and glucose levels, and appropriate form traffic adapted to the needs and capabilities of the patient

The Future of E-learning -Development Trends

Abstract E-learning is a method of organizing the didactic process in such a way that the teacher and the learners are not physically present in one location at the same time. Knowledge is transmitted using many media, including ICT. Internet access has become widespread thanks to new technologies allowing for mobile networking and the development of devices combining the functions of a mobile phone with those of a computer. In response to the emergence of the society a new type of institutions and organizations appeared -offering education which is far from traditional. Massive Online Open Courses (MOOC). Courses are open to everybody, free-of-charge, meant for mass audiences and Internet-based communication with social platforms built around projects, courses and subjects. It may seem that we are now witnessing the breakthrough in education and a new deconstruction of society made possible by the global access to academic education

The body’s role in shaping consciousness – philosophical and scientific inspirations

    No full text
Since time immemorial man has been trying to understand his origin and sense of being. He has been seeking to define himself and to find the right answer both through philosophical considerations and scientific inquiries and observations. If we ask what human consciousness is, how it happens that we possess it, how consciousness of our being and agency is formed in us, science will direct us towards neurobiological studies, whereas philosophy refers to its numerous representatives. One of the thinkers who, at the beginning of the 20th century, tried to answer the aforementioned questions, was Merleau-Ponty whose views are discussed in this paper

Studies on the Influence of Aluminosilicate Additive on Initiation Steps of High Calcium Aluminate Cement Hydration

Aluminate cements are applied mainly in fire-resistant concretes. The use of aluminate cements in construction materials is problematic (and sometimes even banned) because of conversion of aluminates, taking place slowly in time. The effect of such conversion is the increase of porosity and reduction of material’s strength. There is an opinion that using particular additives the conversion of aluminates can be prevented or significantly slowed. The aim of this work is to demonstrate the influence of addition of spent aluminosilicate catalyst on early hydration (up to 28th day) of white high calcium aluminate cement. Two kinds of the additive were used: a raw material and a thermal treated one. Calorimetry, thermal analysis and SEM observations were used as investigation methods. EXO temperature and setting time were also measured. It was proved that the spent catalyst influences early cement hydration and microstructure of hardened material
