Aharonov-Anandan phase in Lipkin-Meskov-Glick model
In the system of several interacting spins, geometric phases have been
researched intensively. However, the studies are mainly focused on the adiabatic
case (Berry phase), so it is necessary for us to study the non-adiabatic
counterpart (Aharonov and Anandan phase). In this paper, we analyze both the
non-degenerate and degenerate geometric phase of Lipkin-Meskov-Glick type
model, which has many application in Bose-Einstein condensates and entanglement
theory. Furthermore, in order to calculate degenerate geometric phases, the
Floquet theorem and decomposition of operator are generalized. And the general
formula is achieved
Efficacy and safety of guselkumab for the treatment of patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis: A metaanalysis of randomized clinical trials
Purpose: To conduct a systematic analysis on data from randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on different doses of guselkumab, and provide high-quality evidence for its use in the treatment of patients with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis (PsO).
Methods: Related studies were searched using online search engines including MEDLINE, PubMed, and central registry of Cochrane controlled trials from January 2001 to October 2017. Only randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trials involving guselkumab- and placebo-treated PsO subjects were included.
Results: Five eligible double-blind, randomized, and placebo-controlled trials involving patients with moderate-to-severe PsO subjects treated with guselkumab were included. Compared with the placebo groups, the proportion of patients with improvements in Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) 75 (RR= 12.14; 95% CI= 9.11-16.16; p < 0.001); PASI 90 (RR= 23.26; 95% CI =14.57-37.13; p < 0.001), and PASI 100 (RR = 37.66; 95% CI = 15.81-89.69; p < 0.001) were significantly higher than those in guselkumab-treated groups. Furthermore, the guselkumab-treated groups showed significant decreases in Physician’s Global Assessment (PGA) score (RR = 10.46; 95% CI = 7.96-13.83; p < 0.001) and the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) score (SMD = -1.3; 95% CL = -1.4 to -1.19; p < 0.001), when compared with the placebo groups. However, there were no significant differences in adverse events (AEs) (RR = 1.01; 95% CL = 0.93-1.11; p > 0.05); severe adverse events (SAEs) (RR = 1.32; 95% CI =0.69-2.54; p > 0.05) and study discontinuations (RR = 0.79; 95% CI = 0.42-1.48; p > 0.05) between the two groups.
Conclusion: This meta-analysis summarizes available evidence for the use of guselkumab in psoriasis. The results suggest that guselkumab is superior to placebo in moderate-to-severe psoriasis, and is welltolerated, effective, and safe in improving the severity of disease and quality of life.

Attention Where It Matters: Rethinking Visual Document Understanding with Selective Region Concentration
We propose a novel end-to-end document understanding model called SeRum
(SElective Region Understanding Model) for extracting meaningful information
from document images, including document analysis, retrieval, and office
automation.
Unlike state-of-the-art approaches that rely on multi-stage technical schemes
and are computationally expensive,
SeRum converts document image understanding and recognition tasks into a
local decoding process of the visual tokens of interest, using a content-aware
token merge module.
This mechanism enables the model to pay more attention to regions of interest
generated by the query decoder, improving the model's effectiveness and
speeding up the decoding speed of the generative scheme.
We also designed several pre-training tasks to enhance the understanding and
local awareness of the model.
Experimental results demonstrate that SeRum achieves state-of-the-art
performance on document understanding tasks and competitive results on text
spotting tasks.
SeRum represents a substantial advancement towards enabling efficient and
effective end-to-end document understanding.Comment: Accepted to ICCV 2023 main conferenc
Effects of Vanadium doping on BaFe2As2
We report an investigation of the structural, magnetic and electronic
properties of Ba(Fe(1-x)V(x))2As2 using x-ray, transport, magnetic
susceptibility and neutron scattering measurements. The vanadium substitutions
in Fe sites are possible up to 40\%. Hall effect measurements indicate strong
hole-doping effect through V doping, while no superconductivity is observed in
all samples down to 2K. The antiferromagnetic and structural transition
temperature of BaFe2As2 is gradually suppressed to finite temperature then
vanishes at x=0.245 with the emergence of spin glass behavior, suggesting an
avoided quantum critical point (QCP). Our results demonstrate that the avoided
QCP and spin glass state which were previously reported in the superconducting
phase of Co/Ni-doped BaFe2As2 can also be realized in non-superconducting
Ba(Fe(1-x)V(x))2As2.Comment: 5 pages, 6 figure
