Driver Drowsiness Detection System: An Approach By Machine Learning Application

The majority of human deaths and injuries are caused by traffic accidents. A million people worldwide die each year due to traffic accident injuries, consistent with the World Health Organization. Drivers who do not receive enough sleep, rest, or who feel weary may fall asleep behind the wheel, endangering both themselves and other road users. The research on road accidents specified that major road accidents occur due to drowsiness while driving. These days, it is observed that tired driving is the main reason to occur drowsiness. Now, drowsiness becomes the main principle for to increase in the number of road accidents. This becomes a major issue in a world which is very important to resolve as soon as possible. The predominant goal of all devices is to improve the performance to detect drowsiness in real time. Many devices were developed to detect drowsiness, which depend on different artificial intelligence algorithms. So, our research is also related to driver drowsiness detection which can identify the drowsiness of a driver by identifying the face and then followed by eye tracking. The extracted eye image is matched with the dataset by the system. With the help of the dataset, the system detected that if eyes were close for a certain range, it could ring an alarm to alert the driver and if the eyes were open after the alert, then it could continue tracking. If the eyes were open then the score that we set decreased and if the eyes were closed then the score increased. This paper focus to resolve the problem of drowsiness detection with an accuracy of 80% and helps to reduce road accidents

Performance and efficiency of web information retrieval is important for knowledge engineers, novice users and for organizations. In semantic web based system, the concept of ontology is used to search results by contextual meaning of input query instead of keyword matching. Ontology is an approximate specification of a domain whereas ontology evaluation is concerned with the degree or rather the distance between this approximate conceptualization and the real world. For this, ontology based information retrieval system for computer science domain is designed which this research calls as the IRSCSD system. This paper considers the evaluation of prototype ontology developed in computer science domain for IRSCSD system and has four- fold objectives. Firstly, paper highlights the high level design of IRSCSD system (Information retrieval system for computer science domain). Secondly, paper discusses the prototype ontology developed for computer science domain taking one of its core subjects. Thirdly, paper focuses on the need for evaluation of ontology and various approaches, metrics which can be used for evaluation of domain specific ontology in computer science. Lastly, implementation will be shown by considering those approaches on prototype ontology along with the data sets used for evaluation

In semantic web-based system, the concept of ontology is used to search results by contextual meaning of input query instead of keyword matching. From the research literature, there seems to be a need for a tool which can provide an easy interface for complex queries in natural language that can retrieve the domain-specific information from the ontology. This research paper proposes an IRSCSD system (Information retrieval system for computer science domain) as a solution. This system offers advanced querying and browsing of structured data with search results automatically aggregated and rendered directly in a consistent user-interface, thus reducing the manual effort of users. So, the main objective of this research is design and development of semantic web-based system for integrating ontology towards domain-specific retrieval support. Methodology followed is a piecemeal research which involves the following stages. First Stage involves the designing of framework for semantic web-based system. Second stage builds the prototype for the framework using Protégé tool. Third Stage deals with the natural language query conversion into SPARQL query language using Python-based QUEPY framework. Fourth Stage involves firing of converted SPARQL queries to the ontology through Apache's Jena API to fetch the results. Lastly, evaluation of the prototype has been done in order to ensure its efficiency and usability. Thus, this research paper throws light on framework development for semantic web-based system that assists in efficient retrieval of domain-specific information, natural language query interpretation into semantic web language, creation of domain-specific ontology and its mapping with related ontology. This research paper also provides approaches and metrics for ontology evaluation on prototype ontology developed to study the performance based on accessibility of required domain-related information

The relationship between Service Quality Dimensions and Customer Satisfaction in E-Tailing Environment: An Empirical Study on Online Travel and E-mart Retail Model

This paper aims to identify online service quality dimensions that facilitate the customer satisfaction for the e-travel and e-mart online retail. Further, it evaluates how well these dimensions are being perceived by the customers so as to provide an objective measure of service performance. Two phase study was undertaken. The first phase included literature review and expert opinions to identify the service quality dimensions whereas the second phase involved collecting data from students on the identified dimensions and their overall satisfaction on the services. Ten e-service quality dimensions were identified and the extent to which current online retailers provided online service attributes were analyzed to be low or moderate on most of the dimensions for both the e-travel and e-mart service providers. The model tested for the relationship between the service quality dimensions and customer satisfaction was also found to be correlated at a low level.

Background: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive loss of kidney function and is a worldwide public health problem both for the number of patients and for the cost of treatment. Trace elements such as copper (Cu) is altered in CKD. We assessed 100 subjects of both sex with different age groups, among them 50 are normal healthy controls (group 1) and 50 are CKD patients (group 2) from dialysis ward (medicine) S.R.G. Hospital, Jhalawar Medical College, Jhalawar (Raj.) Serum copper was estimated using Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). Results: Serum copper level was significantly low in CKD patients, mean ± SD (1.2041 ±0.46360) (p<0.05) when compared with the healthy control group (1.3823 ± 0.25259) (p<0.05). Gender had no significant effect on serum copper level, in males, (1.1992± 0.41431) and females (1.2146± 0.56946) (p>0.05). Conclusion: This study shows that in CKD patients, trace elements derangement is important in the primary diagnosis of trace element dysfunction and medical management of CKD

Mobile mammography is an effort to provide doorstep screening and address barriers to avail screening by women. Though many mobile mammography outreaches are there but there is paucity of data regarding population served and the barriers to avail utilization.Aims and Objectives: 1. To ascertain the sociodemographic profile of women getting mammography done; 2. To assess the barriers faced by women in utilization of mammography screening.Methodology: Cross-sectional study.Study Time: 24 months. Results: During the 24 months of study period, a total of 38 camps were organized and 272 women underwent mammography scan. The mean age of the participants under study was 41 years. Most of the women had middle level of income status (INR 10,001-50,000 per month) and education levels up to secondary level. The major barriers of participants not undergoing for mammography scans were: difficulty taking time away from work or family 91 (61.4%), 86 (58.1 %) had fear of being diagnosed with breast cancer and they avoided being checked, feeling of embarrassment during mammography test 63 (42.5%), 16 (10.8%) were apprehensive about harmful effect of radioactivity exposure, etc. Conclusion: In a developing country like India, there is a need for raising awareness in relation to breast cancer and bust the myths pertaining to mammography screening in population
