    Abstract The stinging tree (Laportea decumana (Roxb.) Wedd) is one of the typical Papuan plants used to relieve pain or pain. Stinging trees in their use are still traditionally by rubbing the leaves directly on the painful parts of the body (abdomen, hands, feet, head, etc.) and only among the Papuan people. Thus, there is a need for research related to testing the analgesic effects of stinging tree extract on mice test animals so that they can be further developed into medicinal preparations that are safe for use by the public. The purpose of this study was to determine the analgesic effect and effective dosage of itch leaf extract in male mice. The experimental research method used 25 male mice divided into five groups, negative control Na-CMC 1%, acetosal 1%, and stinging tree extract doses 250, 500, and 1000 mg/kg. The results showed that stinging tree extract doses of 250mg, 500mg, and 1000mg/kg had an analgesic effect (0.000<0.05), and the most effective dose was 1000mg/kg. The conclusion of stinging tree extract (Laportea decumana (Roxb.) Wedd) has an analgesic effect. Keywords: Stinging tree, painful, writhing test.ABSTRAK Daun gatal (Laportea decumana (Roxb.) Wedd) merupakan salah satu tanaman khas Papua yang digunakan untuk menghilangkan rasa sakit atau nyeri. Daun gatal dalam penggunaannya masih secara tradisional yaitu dengan mengusapkan daun langsung pada bagian tubuh yang nyeri(perut, tangan, kaki, kepala dsb) dan hanya dikalangan masyarakat Papua. Dengan demikian perlu adanya penelitian terkait uji efek analgetik ekstrak daun gatal pada hewan uji mencit untuk selanjutnya dapat dikembangkan menjadi sediaan obat yang aman digunakan oleh masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek analgetik dan dosis efektif ekstrak daun gatal pada mencit jantan. Metode penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan 25 ekor mencit jantan yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok yaitu kontrol negatif Na-CMC 1%, asetosal 1%, ekstrak daun gatal dosis 250, 500 dan 1000 mg/kgBB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun gatal dosis 250mg, 500mg, 1000mg/kgBB mempunyai efek analgetik (0,000<0,05) dan dosis yang paling efektif adalah 1000mg/kgBB.     Optimalitation Health Education a giving of Fe tablets as to Prevention of Anemia in Adolescents at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Sorong

    Anemia merupakan suatu kondisi medis dimana jumlah sel darah merah atau hemoglobin kurang dari normal. Angka kejadian anemia di Indonesia sebesar 21,7%. 18,4% terjadi pada laki-laki dan 23,9% terjadi pada perempuan. Berdasarkan kriteria usia 5-14 tahun mencapai 26,4% dan pada usia 15-25 tahun mencapai 18,4%. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan sasaran remaja, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dengan cara mengoptimalkan edukasi kesehatan sebagai upaya  pencegahan anemia pada kaum remaja di SMAN 4 Kota Sorong sehingga remaja dapat memahami bahaya penyakit anemia selain itu remaja juga dapat mengaplikasikan bagaimana mengonsumsi tablet Fe yang baik dan benar sebagai bentuk optimalisasi pencegahan anemi pada remaja. Hasil yang didapat setelah remaja diberikan edukasi mengenai pemberian tablet Fe sebgai pencegahan anemi, menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan remaja sebanyak 28 orang terkait dengan pentingnya mencegah anemi dengan konsumsi tablet Fe yang baik dan benar.Anemia is a medical condition in which the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normal. The incidence of anemia in Indonesia is 21.7%. 18.4% occurred in males and 23.9% occurred in females. Based on the criteria for the age of 5-14 years it reached 26.4% and at the age of 15-25 years it reached 18.4%. Based on these data, community service activities are carried out with the aim of youth, which aims to provide knowledge by optimizing health education as an effort to prevent anemia in adolescents at SMAN 4 Sorong City so that adolescents can understand the dangers of anemia besides that adolescents can also apply how to consume good and correct Fe tablets as a form of optimizing the prevention of anemia in adolescents. The results obtained after the adolescents were given education about administering Fe tablets as a prevention of anemia, showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of 28 adolescents regarding the importance of preventing anemia by consuming Fe tablets properly and correctly

    Analysis on ergonomic factors and workload of female civil government employees in the local government offices of Sorong

    Background: Based on the initial survey conducted by researchers, ergonomic problems were found in the female Civil Government Employees (Pegawai Negeri Sipil, PNS), including the fact that most female Civil Government Employees are old. Most female Civil Government Employees went to the office without having breakfast. The desks and chairs at work were not designed ergonomically. The work station was located in the fourth floor without an escalator, causing fatigue. The room temperature and lighting are unfitting. These problems are disadvantageous for their workloads. Objectives: The objective of this research is to find out the influence of ergonomic factors on female Civil Employees’ workloads in the Local Government Offices of Sorong City. Methods: The method applied in this research is the analytical survey with a cross-sectional design. The applied sampling method was random sampling stratification, with 104 samples. The data is collected using questionnaires. The data analysis includes univariate, bivariate, and multivariate, applying the Chi Square (X2) test and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. Research Results: The bivariate test result shows that workloads are influenced by the following factors: age (p=0.002), nutritional status (p=0.002), working behavior (p=0.003), tools layout (p=0.001), working environment (p=0.001)
