    : The Effect of Number of Test Items and Cognitive Styles on the Learning Outcomes of Social Science. This experimental study measures the effect of test length (many test items vs. few test items) and learners' cognitive styles (field-independent vs. field-dependent) on the learning outcomes of social science. The 2 x 2 factorial design utilized shows that learners taking the test with a small number of items performed better than those taking the test with a large number of items. The field-independent learners scored higher than the field-dependent ones. The significant interaction between test length, cog­nitive styles, and learning outcomes in Social Science suggests that learners having field-independent cog­nitive style tend to achieve higher learning outcomes in tests with many items, whereas learners having field-dependent cognitive style show higher learning outcomes in tests with few items

    This study aims to analyze learners' interest in learning by using a contextual learning approach to increase learning interest so that learning outcomes are good in understanding the lessons given by teachers in TK Pembina Limboto, Gorontalo District. The method used is through observation and action cycles so that researchers are described in the form of research. The results showed that the application of the contextual learning approach could increase children's interest and learning outcomes in group A TK Pembina Limboto. In the implementation of the cycle action it can be stated that there is an increase in interest in learning from students with a contextual learning approach

    The results of this study concluded that 1) Early childhood learning in Mawar Kindergarten in general refers to service standards in organizing paud learning. Local culture-based learning planning compiled in Mawar Kindergarten in the form of Curriculum, Syllabus, Semester Program, Weekly Learning Implementation Plan and daily learning plan; 2). TK Mawar implements integrated learning with local culture; 3) The factual model of learning is prepared using the results of mapping local cultures that exist in the paud environment as a reference in formulating material that will be delivered to students; 4) Factual model of local culture-based learning in TK Mawar then delivered to stakeholders involved and collaborating with TK Mawar to obtain responses and suggestions for improvement, then revised and enriched in the form of a draft development model for easier application of early childhood learning at the institution another paud
