Hubungan Kekerabatan Fenetik Beberapa Varietas Pisang Lokal Kalimantan Selatan

The limited material and students’ low thinking skill on science in grade eighth of SMPN 1 Paringin inspire the researcher to compose learning material in the form of module. This research aims to evaluate the quality of Natural Science learning module in grade 8. The research model uses Tessmer model which covers 1) self evaluation, 2) expert review, 3) one-to-one, 4) small group, and 5) field test. The research is conducted in SMPN 1 Paringin academic year 2016/2017. The module effectiveness data covers cognitive learning result, critical thinking skill, good attitude, social skill, and students’ responses. The research result shows that the developed module is effective. The effectiveness is based on some parameters, they are; 1) students’ cognitive learning result is beyond classical accomplishment, 2) students’ critical thinking skill is very good, 3) students’ attitude covering honesty and responsibility is averagely very good, 4) students’ social skill covering cooperation and contributing idea is averagely very good, 5) students’ responses are generally good.  Article visualizations

This research is aimed to develop a lesson plan instrument with a POGIL model on validity and practical. The research method used is Tesmer model which covers: 1) self evaluation; 2) expert review; 3) one-to-one; 4) small group; and 5) field test. The lesson plan instrument covers the syllaby, lesson plans, materials, students workbook, observation sheet cognitive, observation sheet critical thinking skills, observation sheet activities of teachers and students, observation sheet response of participants, observation sheet self regulation, and observation sheet psychomotor skills. The research in SMPN 2 Alalak. The results of the study show that: 1) the validity of lesson plan instrument based on experts is category as very valid, the level of readability of the module and students workbook is category as good; 2) the practicality of learning devices based on the implementation of lesson plans instrument is very good.  Article visualizations

Genetic Relationship of Several Morphological and Molecular Characteristics of Phalaenopsis Amabilis (L.) Blume Orchids From the Meratus Mountains of South Kalimantan, Indonesia

Phalaenopsis amabilis (L.) Blume orchid is one of the most popular orchid species in the world. However, this ornamental plant is threatened in its natural habitat, the Meratus Mountains of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study determines and analyzes the genetic relationship among several morphological characteristics of P. amabilis from this region combined with molecular (RAPD) markers. A total of ten orchid samples comprised of nine moth orchids (P. amabilis) and one species (P. cornu-cervi) as an outgroup, as well as ten RAPD primers were used in this study. Based on the morphological markers, the moth orchids have a moderate level of genetic diversity, indicated by Shannon's index value of 0.5. In contrast to molecular markers, this germplasm shows high genetic polymorphism, shown by the polymorphism degree of 100% for all primers used. The cluster analysis shows that this germplasm can be divided into two clusters for morphological and five for molecular markers. Following these markers, the grouping of moth orchids was nearly corresponding to their origin. Thus, this information could be useful as a reference for orchid conservation and breeding programs in the future
