Influência das variáveis meteorológicas na temperatura da superfície da Caatinga em Petrolina, PE.

A análise da temperatura de um organismo compreende a principal variável utilizada para a compreensão de sua termorregulação. Esta por sua vez, pode variar em função de elementos meteorológicos e principalmente da disponibilidade hídrica do local, sendo um indicador do grau de estresse hídrico da vegetação. O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar a influencia de variáveis ambientais nos valores da temperatura da superfície da caatinga em Petrolina, PE. Para tanto, realizou-se um experimento em uma área de caatinga preservada pertencente à Embrapa Semiárido, Petrolina ? PE. As medições foram realizadas durante o ano de 2012 por meio de uma torre micrometeorológica de 16m de altura equipada com um sistema de aquisição de dados datalogger. Para determinação da temperatura da superfície utilizou-se o termômetro infravermelho (SI111) instalado a 13,9 metros de altura da superfície do solo. Concomitantemente, foram realizadas medidas dos elementos meteorológicos: temperatura do ar, déficit de pressão de vapor, radiação solar e umidade relativa do ar. Procedeu-se realizando correlações para analisar a influencia de cada variável nos valores médios da temperatura da superfície por meio de regressões e do coeficiente de determinação. Com os resultados observou-se que as variáveis que melhor representaram a temperatura da superfície foram a temperatura do ar e o déficit de pressão de vapor com r² iguais a 0,856 e 0,6327. Essas informações podem ser utilizadas para melhor compreender as respostas dessa área de Caatinga às condições do ambiente, bem como para subsidiar estudos de fluxos de carbono e modelagem climática no Bioma Caatinga

Gaussian superpositions in scalar-tensor quantum cosmological models

A free scalar field minimally coupled to gravity model is quantized and the Wheeler-DeWitt equation in minisuperspace is solved analytically, exhibiting positive and negative frequency modes. The analysis is performed for positive, negative and zero values of the curvature of the spatial section. Gaussian superpositions of the modes are constructed, and the quantum bohmian trajectories are determined in the framework of the Bohm-de Broglie interpretation of quantum cosmology. Oscillating universes appear in all cases, but with a characteristic scale of the order of the Planck scale. Bouncing regular solutions emerge for the flat curvature case. They contract classically from infinity until a minimum size, where quantum effects become important acting as repulsive forces avoiding the singularity and creating an inflationary phase, expanding afterwards to an infinite size, approaching the classical expansion as long as the scale factor increases. Feno de cunhã (Clitoria ternatea L.) para acabamento de cordeiros.

Resumo: Foram utilizados 32 cordeiros, mestiços, durante setenta dias em estudo na Embrapa Caprinos, em Sobral, CE, para determinar a influência do nível de concentrado em dietas para acabamento de cordeiros em confinamento. Os tratamentos foram as seguintes relaçoes forragem:concentrado: 100%:0% (T1), 85%:15% (T2), 70%:30% (T3) e 55%:45% (T4). A forragem fornecida era feno de cunha e o concentrado era composta de 75% de milho e 25% de farelo de soja. 0 ajuste das proporçoes foi feito diariamente, corn base no consumo de volumoso, servido ad libitum. Corn o aumento do nível de concentrado na dieta dos animais, observou-se incrementos lineares (PO,05) quanto aos tratamentos. Conclui-se que todas as raçoes testadas podem ser utilizadas para terminação de cordeiros em confinamento. Cunhã hay (Clitoria ternatea L.) for finishing of lambs. ABSTRACT - Thirty two crossbred lambs were used in a 70 day study at Embrapa Caprinos, in Sobral, CE, Brazil to evaluate the influence of concentrate levels on finishing diets under confinement. The treatments were the following roughage to concentrate relations: 100% to 0% (T1), 85% to 15% (T2), 70% to 30% (T3) and 55% to 45% (T4). The roughage was cunhã hay (Clitoria ternatea L), and the concentrate was composed of corn (75%) and soybean meal (25%). The adjustments of the proportions were made daily, based on the roughage intake, served ad libitum. It was observed that the total dry matter intake increased, the forage intake decreased, the feed efficiency improved and the daily weight gain increased (P0.05) among treatments. It was concluded that any of the diets studied can be used for finishing lambs

Liquid crystal phase and waterlike anomalies in a core-softened shoulder-dumbbells system

Using molecular dynamics we investigate the thermodynamics, dynamics and structure of 250 diatomic molecules interacting by a core-softened potential. This system exhibits thermodynamics, dynamics and structural anomalies: a maximum in density-temperature plane at constante pressure and maximum and minimum points in the diffusivity and translational order parameter against density at constant temperature. Starting with very dense systems and decreasing density the mobility at low temperatures first increases, reach a maximum, then decreases, reach a minimum and finally increases. In the pressure-temperature phase diagram the line of maximum translational order parameter is located outside the line of diffusivity extrema that is enclosing the temperature of maximum density line. We compare our results with the monomeric system showing that the anisotropy due to the dumbbell leads to a much larger solid phase and to the appearance of a liquid crystal phase. the double ranged thermodynamic and dynamic anomalies.Comment: 14 pages, 5 figure
