THE EFFECT OF STORAGE ON PHYSICAL, CHEMICAL AND MICROBIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF FISH WASTE ACIDIFIED USING FERMENTED VEGETABLES WASTE EXTRACT
Fish waste (“ikan rucah”) is part of discarded fishing product, which is composed by non-food categorized fish (NFC-fish). Quality of NFC-fish meal that was made by dipping in extract of fermented vegetable’s waste has been reported better than commercial fish meal, but the effect after storing remained in question. Experiment was conducted to study the effect of different time of storing on physic-organoleptical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of the acidified NFC-fish meal that was made by dipped in extract of fermented vegetable’s waste (FVW-exctract). The NFC-Fish was soaked in the FVW-exctract by the ratio 1:1 (w/v) for 4 hours, and then it was dripped out and dried. The dried fish was ground passed through 20 mesh, kept into plastic bags and stored at the room temperature (23-25 °C and 70-80% RH) for 0, 1, 2 and 4 months. Physic-organoleptical, chemical and biologycal characteristics were parameters observed. Experiment was conducted by completely randomized design (CRD). Data were analysed by the GLM of SAS. Actual number of moisture, crude protein, extract ether, and proteolytic bacteria of fish meal were significantly influenced by time of storing (P<0.05). Dipping NFC-fish in the FVW-exctract effectively maintain the physical characteristics, pH, moisture, crude protein, extract ether and the number of proteolytic bacteria of fish meal up to 2 months of storage. Dipping NFC-fish in the FVW-exctract provide better characteristics on physical, chemical and microbiologycal than the commercial fish meal at the same condition of storage
Term Structure Examination of Indonesian Money Market: Some Efficiency Issue
This paper examines efficiency of Indonesian term structure as imposed by the country\u27s central bank. The rate, widely understood as the Bank Indonesia (BI) Rate varying from 30-day, 60-day, and 180-day, usually stated as the plain-vanilla cost of capital of interbank debt financing depending on their time length. In general, this rate will consequently impact various other sorts of interest rates in the country\u27s debt market as a whole. When dealing with market efficiency, statistical inference shows that short-term BI Rate\u27s is not the best predictor of its long-term one due to some uncertain asymmetric information. This finding may lead to further adjustment in risk management strategy for hedging with interest rate
Factors Influencing the Changes of Forest Cover (a Case Study on Sumatra Island)
In Indonesia, decreasing the forest cover or deforestation in 2000-2005 period had increased up to 1,09 million ha per year, and in Sumatera island alone the deforestationreached 0,27 million ha per year. The primary factors that caused the changes of forest cover in Sumatera are logging, both legal and illegal, and forest conversion for other landuses. This paper used panel data model for eight provinces in Sumatera from 2000 to 2006 to analyze direct causes of changes of forest cover. In the model of changes of forest cover caused by logging, resulted a positive correlation between deforestation and price of timber. These results implied that the rise of timber price made illegal loggers try to get maximum profit in a short time, and it could stimulate illegal logging. In the model of changes of forest cover caused by forest conversion for other land uses, the results showed a positive correlation between deforestation and GDP per capita. The result concludes that the increase of GDP per capita makes consumption for agricultural goods increase, and it can stimulate forest conversion for other land uses
Tipologi Politik Luar Negeri Indonesia Di Era Reformasi
In the limited capacity of post-independence economic and military, various implementation of Indonesia\u27s foreign policies also be welcomed and got strong support from the power of the masses. But in the course of history, due to elitism in the Soeharto era, made foreign policy to be elitisized. Influence from people muted. The policies were run almost personally by President Suharto so that Indonesia\u27s foreign policy became uninstitutionalized. The changes of political system in the Reformasi era (reforms) since the fall of President Suharto created opportunities to reformulate and to institutionalize Indonesia\u27s foreign policy. Meanwhile, during the first decade of Reform era in Indonesia (1998-2008) world political scene has undergone many changes and dynamics that presents opportunities and challenges toward Indonesia\u27s foreign policy, particularly the transformation of economic globalization and International issues. Ambiguity of Indonesia\u27s foreign policy profile at the beginning of the Reformasi era became an intellectual challenge, namely how to explain the “profile” that often be simplified as just “no-profile”. Reforms provides an opportunity to the spirit of populism to back in, however the implementation of Indonesia\u27s foreign policy sometimes seems elitist. It\u27s a challenge for scientific analysis. Therefore, this work also specifically describes the factors forming the profile of implementation of RI\u27s foreign policy in the era of the Reform
Pengaruh Kualitas Pelayanan Terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan (Survei Pada Nasabah Kredit Program USAha Kecil Menengah / Mikro PT. Bank Jatim (Persero) Cabang Kraksaan)
The objective of research is to understand and to explain the effect of variables of the quality of service delivery such as Tangible, Dependability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy simultaneously and spatially on Customer Satisfaction Rate. Research also attempts to acknowledge which one of Service Quality variables with dominant effect on Customer Satisfaction Rate. Research type is explanatory research. Sample total is 98 respondents who are the customer of Small, Middle, and Micro Work Credits Program in Bank Jatim of Kraksaan Branch. Data collection method is questionnaire. Data analysis tools are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. Sample collection technique is Accidental Sampling technique. Result of research indicates that Tangible, Responsiveness, Dependability, Assurance, and Empathy which are simultaneously having a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction Rate
Physical and Microbiological Perfomances of Acidified Fish Meal Made by Dipping Into Extract Solution of Sauerkraut
An experiment was conducted to examine the influence of soaking time into extract solution ofSauerkraut on physic and microbial performances of acidified fish meal. Sauerkraut extract (LPS'ssollution) was made by fermentation of wastes vegetable market for 6 days. The LPS-extract was used toacidify " ikan rucah" by the method of dipping for 0, 4 and 8 hours. Changes in pH, the total number ofbacteria, fungi and proteolytic bacteria, moisture content, odor, colour and texture were parametersobserved. Results of experiment showed that total bacteria, fungi and proteolytic bacteria of acidifiedfish meal significantly influenced by soaking time (p <0.05). No significantly effect was shown to thephysically performance. LPS-extract in the soaking effectively reduced content of total bacteria, fungiand proteolytic's bacteria in fish meal
