The purpose of this study was to determine the validity and practicalities of multimedia. This type of research or development Research and Development using three stages of four stages of the development model of the 4-D Models. Subjects of this study consisted of 5 people validator, and to test the practicalities conducted by two teachers and 30 students of class XII SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive analysis using a percentage formula that includes analysis of the validity and practicalities. The results showed that for design validation obtained a value of 0.86 and a validation of the material / content obtained a value of 0.82 with a valid category. As for the practicalities of test values obtained with an average score of 91.56% in a very practical categories of teachers and of students obtained an average score of 86.03% with a very practical category. Based on the above it can be concluded that interactive multimedia is valid and very practical for use as a media on subjects Fussion Food

On the Response of an OST to a Point-like Heat Source

A new technique of superconducting cavity diagnostics has been introduced by D. Hartrill at Cornell University, Ithaca, USA. Oscillating Superleak Transducers (OST) detect the heat transferred from a cavity's quench point via "Second Sound" through the superfluid He bath, needed to cool the superconducting cavity. The observed response of an OST is a complex, but reproducible pattern of oscillations. A small helium evaporation cryostat was built which allows the investigation of the response of an OST in greater detail. The distance between a point-like electrical heater and the OST can be varied. The OST can be mounted either parallel or perpendicular to the plate, housing the heat source. If the artificial quench-point releases an amount of energy compatible to a real quench spot on a cavity's surface, the OST signal starts with a negative pulse, which is usually strong enough to allow automatic detection. Furthermore, the reflection of the Second Sound on the wall is observed. A reflection coefficient R = 0.39 +- 0.05 of the glass wall is measured. This excludes a strong influence of multiple reflections in the complex OST response. Fourier analyses show three main frequencies, found in all OST spectra. They can be interpreted as modes of an oscillating circular membrane.Comment: 10 pages, 16 figure

ExoMars Schiaparelli Direct-to-Earth Observation using GMRT

During the ExoMars Schiaparelli separation event on 16 October 2016 and Entry, Descent, and Landing (EDL) events 3 days later, the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) near Pune, India, was used to directly observe UHF transmissions from the Schiaparelli lander as they arrive at Earth. The Doppler shift of the carrier frequency was measured and used as a diagnostic to identify key events during EDL. This signal detection at GMRT was the only real‐time aliveness indicator to European Space Agency mission operations during the critical EDL stage of the mission

This research aimed to analyze the quality and to know capacity ofacceptance nutrient dense nagasari as a food toddlers. The research was thedevelopment of research. The object of research was a nutrient dense nagasari asa toddlers. The procedure to begins with a quality test using organoleptic test.Test of Organoleptic conducted by involving six professional panelists people isexperts in area of culinary, nutrition and food, and then do the test of capacityacceptance to 24 toddlers in kindergarten Dharmawanita UNP. Result of qualitytest nagasari which developed is said valid by professional panelists people on thefourth trial because the results of assessment professional panelists people ineach indicator have very good that is, 5.00. Furthermore, the result of capacityacceptance test showed that nagasari which developed is received by toddlers

Monitoring and Assessing the Coastal Ecosystem at Hurghada, Red Sea Coast, Egypt

In the framework of the investment plan, the government of Egypt introduced an accelerated development of Hurghada in collaboration with the private sector, as   early as 1980's.  The government intended to construct tourist resort communities, which required establishment of infrastructures. The  demand  of  such  facilities, in absence of enforced environmental roles led owners  to implement  processes  of  landfilling  and  dredging  for the purpose of smoothing, paving and widening the beach in order to construct swimming pools, marinas and other recreational facilities. Such activities came on the expense of the marine ecosystem and especially assault on the coral reef communities. For monitoring and assessing such oppressive activities;  MSS,  TM,  ETM+,  and SPOT XS 4 satellite images acquired  during  1972,  1984,  1992,  2004  and 2011. Shoreline change detection from 1972 to 2011 reveals landfilling of some 7.56Km2 and dredging of 2.67km2, with loss of 5.34km2 of the reef tracts. At the same period, the region has witnessed expansions in urban and road network by 16.47km2 and 8.738km2 respectively. The Egyptian government issued the essential laws for regulating and saving the coastal ecosystem, yet mostly violated. Activation of such laws, applying judicial officers, toughening penalties and establishment of coastal building front line (CBFL), and a reef protection line (RPL) are important tasks especially south of Hurghada to the Egyptian-Sudanese borders to preserve the remnants of such unique coastal ecosystem. Keywords: Satellite images, Hurghada, Red Sea, coastal ecosystem, shoreline changes, urban, road network, environment law

Triage and diagnostic accuracy of Online Symptom Checkers: a systematic review

Background: In the context of a deepening global shortage of health workers, and particularly the COVID-19 pandemic, there is growing international interest in and use of online symptom checkers (OSCs). However, the evidence surrounding the safety and accuracy of OSCs remains inconclusive so far. The triage and diagnostic accuracy of these tools is an essential aspect that needs to be addressed before pushing any further implementation. Objective: This systematic review aimed to summarize the existing peer-reviewed literature evaluating the triage accuracy (directing users to appropriate services based on their presenting symptoms) and diagnostic accuracy of OSCs aimed at lay users for general health concerns. Methods: Searches were conducted in Medline, Embase, CINAHL, HMIC and Web of Science. We included peer-reviewed studies published in English between 1 January 2010 and 17 February 2022 with a quantitative assessment of triage and/or diagnostic accuracy of OSCs directed at lay users. We excluded tools supporting health professionals, and disease- or speciality-specific OSCs. Screening and data extraction were carried out independently by two reviewers for each study. We performed a descriptive narrative synthesis. Results: 21,284 studies were screened and 15 were included. Six studies reported on both triage and diagnostic accuracy, eight focused on triage accuracy, and one on diagnostic accuracy. Diagnostic and triage accuracy varied between studies and OSCs; most studies showed suboptimal diagnostic and triage accuracy. Frequency and urgency of the condition were the main variables that affected the levels of diagnostic and triage accuracy, along with specific features of the OSCs. The impact of each variable differed across tools and studies, making it difficult to draw any solid conclusions. Included studies had either a moderate or high risk of bias according to the revised tool for the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies 2. Conclusions: While OSCs have significant potential to provide accessible and accurate health advice and triage recommendations to users, more research is needed to validate their triage and diagnostic accuracy prior to wide scale adoption in community and healthcare settings. Future studies should aim to use a common methodology and/or agreed standard for evaluation to facilitate objective benchmarking and validation
