Setiap agama yang wujud di atas mukabumi ini samada bersifat agama samawi (agama yang datang berasaskan wahyu dari Tuhan) dan agama budaya (agama yang lahir berasaskan pengalaman tokoh dan kehidupan) semuanya menyeru kepada kebaikan dan mencegah kemungkaran. Bertitik tolak dari fakta ini, kertas kerja ini akan menganalisa secara deskriptif pendekatan pelbagai agama yang dominan di Malaysia khususnya berkaitan dengan persoalan nilai dan etika pengurusan. Ajaran agama yang berkaitan sistem nilai ini akan dibahaskan dan dibuat perbandingan bagi menampakkan persamaan dalam persoaaan etika kerja. Pengharmonian antara ajaran agama ini akan dianalisa dalam bahagian terakhir sebagai langkah membuktikan bahawa etika adalah universal dan penghayatan nilai agama dalam pengurusan adalah yang terbaik dalam menyelesaikan persoalan perlanggaran etika dalam pengurusan dan sebagainya

AL-Hisbah: ALTERNATIVE ESCORT OF MODEN ARRANGEMENT

Control in management involves all aspects such as design (planning), preparation (structure), leadership (leadership), process of making decision (decision making), expenditure (productivity) and marketing (marketing). This paper takes some major issues, especially the role that should be filled by hisbah in the management, among them; limitations sense in controlling human such as judge productivity and accomplishment could be done but assessed behind the sense such as fraud, discrimination, corruption of quality, fraud, damage the mandate and etc, rather complex and it is not realized by human. Environments change, and humanity organizations can not inevitable that eventually will lead to various fraud problems in the organization, corruption and various problems are the effects of progress. The highest structure in the organization, employer or employee act to oversee all aspects in management, but the problem in the context is who will control the high employer in the organization? Based on the number of issues and problems, this study which is based on grounded theory will try to analyze the rule of hisbah which has been practiced since the time of the Prophet and his ccompanions as a systematic model to oversee the human signs in the organization management. Control in management is not only devoted the ability of human sense but also the role of religion is even more important to ensure the concept of control which will reach the maxima stage as defined. The function of control in fact is the continuous and it is not seasonal, because the movement of people and the organization process was always evolving. Then the job of controller is to justify the mistakes and misappropriation from time to time, it is necessary to be done with full justice and responsibilities. This situation requires effective control, refer to syariat.

The viability of Salam finance in the growth of agricultural production in Kano State, Nigeria

Salam finance (sales contract) is a Shariah product used by Islamic financial institutions.It is a transaction in which the payment of the sold commodity is to be made at a spot or immediately after signing the sales contract, while the delivery of the commodity is at the agreed future time.The paper intents to study this Islamic mode of financing agriculture in order to see the way and manner it can enhance the agricultural output of Kano state, being the most populous and agrarian state in Nigeria.This study explores the potentialities of Salam finance.It’s role in the growth of agricultural output to meet the demand level of the state population and provide raw materials for industries. It highlights the historical background of Kano state in terms of agriculture and agribusiness.Almost, 70 percent of the population as is solidly dependent on agriculture and agribusiness as their main source of livelihood.Agriculture contributes a higher percentage to the state revenue before the discovery of petroleum.This paper recommends that, the Kano state micro finance banks, mostly the ones in rural areas should adopt Salam mode of financing.It is expected that the adoption of Salam finance will improve the supply of agricultural output, create more employment opportunities and improve local and modern industries and commerce.It will also promote sustainable growth of the Kano state economy and Nigeria in general.This is a qualitative paper in terms of methodology

The influence of murabahah finance on the relationship between farm credit and agricultural output in Nigeria: a proposed framework

The objective of this paper is to explain the influence of Murabahah finance on the relationship between farm credit and agricultural output.This is because, in most of the advanced countries, agricultural output is a backbone of their economy in terms of food supply, industrial, provision of income, employment opportunities.The importance of agricultural output to the socioeconomic well being, specifically the third world countries are paramount.However, it has been shown that there is a decrease in agricultural output in African economies and Nigeria is inclusive.The decrease of agricultural output in Nigeria is resulted to increase in poverty rate, unemployment, fall in individual and government income, collapsed of the industries etc.Some researchers are of the view that poor credit facilities are part of the main problem hindering the growth of the Nigerian agricultural sector.The current paper proposed a research model which, if validated in an empirical source will assist the advancement of agriculture in Nigeria.Hence, the study seeks to propose the use of Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling PLS in relation to analysis of the data. This paper may directly or indirectly contribute to the policy makers of Nigerian agricultural cooperative and rural development banks and agricultural environment.It provides a sufficient approach for Murabahah finance as a potential moderator of the Model

Islam dan amalan pengurusan di Malaysia: Tuntutan perubahan

Budaya Pengurusan Islam merupakan bidang baru dalam kajian ilmiah berbanding konvensional. Sebagai pendekatan awal kepada perkembangan ilmu tersebut, kertas kerja ini mempunyai pelbagai tujuan: (1) analisa perbandingan pengurusan islam dan konvensional dan menyingkap semula keagungan asas dan falsafah pengurusan Islam; (2) melihat pengaruh nilai budaya tempatan dengan pengurusan serta krisis moral yang terpaksa dihadapi dan pengadaptasiannya dengan sistem pengurusan Islam; (3) mengemukakan saranan perubahan kearah pengurusan Islami. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan berasaskan ‘grounded theory’ iaitu meneroka khazanah ilmu pengurusan Islam dan dibuat perbandingan dengan sistem pengurusan konvensional. Perbincangan walau bagaimanapun hanya akan memfokuskan kepada bidang pengurusan pentadbiran atau pengurusan organisasi sahaja dan tidak dalam bentuk pentadbiran politik negara yang lebih umum.Kertas kerja ini juga mengenengahkan beberapa dasar berasaskan ajaran Islam ke arah pembentukan dasar pembangunan pengurusan sepadu.Malaysia sebagai sebuah negara yang sedang membangun, tidak terlepas daripada berhadapan dengan pelbagai permasalahan dalam amalan pengurusan.Lanjutan daripada itu, tuntutan perubahan yang dikemukakan adalah mengambilkira pengalaman Malaysia dan penyelesaian yang digariskan adalah universal.Kesimpulannya, penyelidikan ini akan membuktikan wujudnya kegemilangan tamadun umat Islam dalam bentuk konsep dan sistem yang menyakinkan dalam amalan pengurusan semasa

Significance of Murabahah Finance towards the Improvement of Agricultural Productivity in Kano State, Nigeria

Murabahah finance (mark-up) is an Islamic financial product which engages in sales of a commodity in cash or in credit with a full knowledge and agreement on the cost of a commodity and profit margin by both the buyer and the seller.It explores the Shariah legal justification and it is viable in advancing agricultural output of the most populous state of Nigeria.Equally, the study momentarily revealed the background of Kano state. The state is occupied by agricultural output and agro-allied industrial products that serve as a channel of earning income to the farmers and government prior to the discovery and exploration of oil.The study is intents to poster the significance Murabahah finance towards the improvement of this type of Islamic financial product in order to contribute to the agricultural output of Kano state. This paper aims to put into the development of the 44 Kano state micro finance banks, which are the infant financial institution owned by the state government.It is hoped that the outcome of this research will improve the socioeconomic standard of rural farmers, enhance food supply, agribusiness, and agro allied industries of the state. It is also hoped that the application of Murabahah will attract both local and foreign investors which will lead to the economic growth of Kano state and Nigeria in general. Malaysian Muslim youth perception towards management of spirituality program in Malaysia

Youth development will focus on moulding a generation of youth who are educated, united, democratic, liberal and tolerant, competitive, ethical and scientifically and technologically progressive. The development of this group is crucial since they will be future leaders, professionals, technocrats, skilled and productive workforce necessary to attain developed nation status. The objectives of this paper is to measure Muslim Malaysian youth perception towards management of spirituality program. The methodology used in this research is quantitative methods to gather the primary data through questionnaire. In this study, we employed stratified sampling technique and the respondents are Muslim Malaysian youth within the age of 15 to 40 years old. The data was gathered from 3,648 respondents analysed by using descriptive analysis, t-test and Anova. From the findings, to be successful in developing Muslim youth in Malaysia, improvement need to be done on the management of spirituality activities, in term of the quality of the content and the design of the program, its implementation and the role and contribution of the knowledgeable moderator are decisive factors

The effect of farm credit and farm produce in Kano State Nigeria

Farm produce serves as a sustainable way of livelihood in terms of food security, employment, income, industries and market among others.This paper is a conceptual paper that seeks to explore the viability of Murabahah finance on the relationship between farm credit and farm produce. This is a cross-sectional research design.Method of data collection is questionnaire; a total of 760 individual farmers will be the target respondent in this study.And structural equation model (Smart- PLS 2.0) statistical application will be used for data analysis.It was found that the problems of high interest rate, insufficient and timely farm credit, poor modern farm equipment such as: tractors, harvesters, planters, storage facilities, fertilizer, herbicide, insecticide, transportation and communications among others. Based on these findings appropriate recommendations were suggested that will tackle the affirmation problems
