    Strategies for development, management and funding of scientific projects

    In the academic environment the number of scientists is continuously increasing so the number of scientific projects seeking funding. This competition is at a higher level than before. Attempts for obtaining funding and increasing number of project applications make evaluation and distribution of funding a harder task. These projects are cross-evaluated at scientific panels of reviewers from multidisciplinary areas. In the recent years, amount of funding provided by TÜBİTAK and relavant government agencies has increased. European Union funding has also increased and diversified. Although project culture has significantly progressed among researchers, there are still structural design and technical mistakes in submitted proposals that result in failure. There are various programs in the framework of Horizon 2020 that are available to applications of Turkish researchers. Finding international project partner and attending to several technical details are of critical importance, for which TÜBİTAK offers advisory and technical support
