Bounds on charged higgs boson in the 2HDM type III from Tevatron
We consider the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) of type III which leads to
Flavour Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) at tree level. In the framework of
this model we can use an appropriate form of the Yukawa Lagrangian that makes
the type II model limit of the general type III couplings apparent. This way is
useful in order to compare with the experimental data which is model dependent.
The analytical expressions of the partial width are
derived and we compare with the data available at this energy range. We examine
the limits on the new parameters from the validness of

INCORPORATING SAFETY-FIRST CONSTRAINTS IN LINEAR PROGRAMMING PRODUCTION MODELS
A recent survey indicated that many procedures view risk in a safety-first context. Traditional methods used to impose safety-first constraints in optimization models have often been difficult to implement. This is particularly true when endogenous decisions affect the distribution of the chance-constrained random variable. This paper presents a method whereby probabilistic constraints can be easily imposed upon finitely discrete random variables. The procedure uses a linear version of the lower partial moment stochastic inequality. The resulting solutions are somewhat conservative but are less so than the results using the previously published mean income-absolute deviation stochastic inequality.Production Economics, Research Methods/ Statistical Methods,
PERFORMANCE OF RISK-INCOME MODELS OUTSIDE THE ORIGINAL DATA SET
Selected risk programming solutions (i.e., profit maximization, Target-MOTAD, and MOTAD) are tested in an economic environment outside the data set from which they were developed. Specifically, solutions are derived from either a longer 10-year (1965-74) or shorter 6-year estimation period (1969-74), and then, they are tested for consistent risk-income characteristics over a later 10-year period (1975-84). Risk solutions estimated from earlier periods perform well in the later test period in spite of different economic conditions between time periods. However, favorable performance may be related to the specific example used in this analysis. Lifetime Differences in Heavy Mesons With Time Independent Measurements
Heavy meson pairs produced in the decays of heavy quarkonium resonances at e+
e- machines (beauty and tau-charm factories) have the useful property that the
two mesons are in the CP-correlated states. By tagging one of the mesons as a
CP eigenstate, a lifetime difference of heavy neutral meson mass eigenstates
width difference may be determined by measuring the leptonic branching ratio of
the other meson. We discuss the use of this and related methods both in the
case where time dependent mixing is small and when it is significant. We
consider the impact of possible CP-violating effects and present the complete

The Anomalous Magnetic Moment of the Muon and Higgs-Mediated Flavor Changing Neutral Currents
In the two-Higgs doublet extension of the standard model, flavor-changing
neutral couplings arise naturally. In the lepton sector, the largest such
coupling is expected to be $\mu-\tau-\phi#. We consider the effects of this
coupling on the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. The resulting bound on
the coupling, unlike previous bounds, is independent of the value of other
unknown couplings. It will be significantly improved by the upcoming E821

Signature of heavy Majorana neutrinos at a linear collider: Enhanced charged Higgs pair production
A charged Higgs pair can be produced at an ee collider through a t-channel
exchange of a heavy neutrino (N) via e^+ e^- -> H^+ H^- and, if N is a Majorana
particle, also via the lepton number violating (LNV) like-sign reaction e^\pm
e^\pm \to H^\pm H^\pm. Assuming no a-priori relation between the effective
eNH^+ coupling (\xi) and light neutrino masses, we show that this interaction
vertex can give a striking enhancement to these charged Higgs pair production
processes. In particular, the LNV H^-H^- signal can probe N at the ILC in the
mass range 100 GeV < m_N < 10^4 TeV and with the effective mixing angle, \xi,
in the range 10^{-4} < \xi^2 < 10^{-8} - well within its perturbative unitarity
bound and the neutrinoless double beta decay (\beta\beta_{0\nu}) limit. The
lepton number conserving (LNC) e^+ e^- \to H^+ H^- mode can be sensitive to,
e.g., an O(10) TeV heavy Majorana neutrino at a 500 GeV International Linear

Transverse Tau Polarization in Decays of the Top and Bottom Quarks in the Weinberg Model of CP Non-conservation
We show that the transverse polarization asymmetry of the -lepton in
the decay is extremely sensitive to CP violating
phases arising from the charged Higgs exchange in the Weinberg model of CP
non-conservation. Qualitatively, the polarization asymmetries are enhanced over
rate or energy asymmetries by a factor of . Thus for optimal values of the parameters the method requires top pairs to be observable rather than needed for rate or energy
asymmetries. We also examine polarization in b decays via and find that it can also be very effective in constraining the CP

Lepton Flavor Violation in the Two Higgs Doublet Model type III
We consider the Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) of type III which leads to
Flavour Changing Neutral Currents (FCNC) at tree level in the leptonic sector.
In the framework of this model we can have, in principle, two situations: the
case (a) when both doublets acquire a vacuum expectation value different from
zero and the case (b) when only one of them is not zero. In addition, we show
that we can make two types of rotations for the flavor mixing matrices which
generates four types of lagrangians, with the rotation of type I we recover the
case (b) from the case (a) in the limit , and with the
rotation of type II we obtain the case (b) from (a) in the limit Moreover, two of the four possible lagrangians correspond to the models
of types I and II plus Flavor Changing (FC) interactions. The analitical
expressions of the partial lepton number violating widths and are derived for the cases (a) and (b) and both
types of rotations.In all cases these widths go asymptotically to zero in
the decoupling limit for all Higgses. We present from our analysis upper bounds
for the flavour changing transition and we show that such bounds

Bounds for Lepton Flavor Violation and the Pseudoscalar Higgs in the General Two Higgs Doublet Model using muon factor
Current experimental data from the muon factor, seems to show the
necessity of physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), since the difference
between SM and experimental predictions is 2.6. In the framework of
the General Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM), we calculate the muon anomalous
magnetic moment to get lower and upper bounds for the Flavour Changing (FC)
Yukawa couplings in the leptonic sector. We also obtain lower bounds for the
mass of the pseudoscalar Higgs () as a function of the parameters of

Polarized Single Top Production at Leptonic Colliders from Broken R Parity Interactions Incorporating CP Violation
The contribution from the R parity violating interactions in the associated
production of a top quark with a charm antiquark is examined for high energy
leptonic colliders. We concentrate on the reactions associated with the
semileptonic top decay. A set of characteristic dynamical distributions for the
signal events is evaluated and the results contrasted against those from the
standard model W-boson pair production background. Next, we turn to a study of
a CP-odd observable, associated with the top spin, which leads to an asymmetry
in the energy distribution of the emitted charged leptons for the pair of
CP-conjugate final states, and . A
non vanishing asymmetry arises from a CP-odd phase, embedded in the R parity
violating coupling constants, through interference terms between the R parity
