    The Influence of Temperature and Longing of Soak Towards Absorbing Water in the Basic of Denture Thermoplastic Nylon

    Thermoplastic nylon is a polymer synthetic used as the basic material of denture and able to absorb water because of the existence of polar element (COOH-), so that it is hydrophilic. Water is absorbed through diffusion process which the diffusion coefficient is influenced by temperature and time of longing of soak will raise the absorbing water till saturation point. The goal of this research is for knowing the influence of temperature and longing of soak towards absorbing water in the basic of denture thermoplastic nylon. The research uses samplethermoplastic nylon with size of diameter x height (50±1mm x 0.5±0.1mm) as much as 15 samples which is divided into 3 groups, previous mass each of sample and also measured the volume. Empty the sample into beaker glass fulfilled of aquades 100ml then incubated. The first group is incubated in 250C, the second group 370C, the third group 550C, observed in 5 days, every 24 hours the samples are balanced their changing of mass. The results are formulated with (m1 – m0)/V, then analyzed with Two Way Anova and LSD0,05. Theresult of testing Two Way Anova that is the temperature able to influence (p=0,000<0,05), longing of soak able to influence (p=0,000<0,05), while the temperature and longing of soak are not influenced toward the absorbing water in the basic of denture thermoplastic nylon, because p=0,994>0,05

    Signal Enhancement by Single Channel Source Separation

    Most gadgets and electronics devices are commonly equipped with single microphone only. This is difficult task in source separation world which traditionally required more sensors than sources to achieve better performance. In this paper we evaluated single channel source separation to enhance target signal from interred noise. The method we used is non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) that decompose signal into its components and find the matched signal to target speaker. As objective evaluation, coherence score is used to measure the perceptual similarity from enhanced to original one. It show the extracted has 0.5 of average coherence that shows medium correlation between both signals

    Identifikasi Kadar Debu di Lingkungan Kerja dan Keluhan Subyektif Pernafasan Tenaga Kerja Bagian Finish Mill

    The objectives of this research were to measure total dust concentration in Finish Mill PT. Semen Gresik (Persero) Tbk., Gresik and to identify respiratory disorders at worker. This was a descriptive study with cross sectional approach. Data collection by measured total dust concentration at Top Silo and under Mill using Low Dust Volume Sampler and High Dust Volume Sampler and also interview the workers by questioners. The result showed that the total dust concentration still under TLV. Workers respiratory disorders were cough and sneezing, happened to worker who were 5059 years old, 26 30 years of work period, had smoking habit and sometime used masker. It was recommended that the company have to measure dust concentration using Personal Dust Sampler, implement job rotation in Finish Mill, and campaign about stop smoking and always using masker while their working to the workers.     Pengaruh Variasi Konsentrasi Metanol Terhadap Sifat Permeabilitas Metanol Membran Komposit Kitosan/ Monmorillonit Termodifikasi Silan 10%

    Membran komposit yang terdiri dari kitosan sebagai matriks dan monmorillonit sebagai telah berhasil dibuat. Kitosan yang digunakan dalam pembuatan membran memiliki derajat deasetilasi (DD) sebesar 70,225 %. Monmorillonit yang digunakan telah dimodifikasi dengan silan 10 %. Membran komposit tersebut dibuat untuk mengetahui sifat permeabilitas metanol pada lima variasi konsentrasi metanol yang digunakan. Konsentrasi metanol yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5 M. Sifat – sifat membran yang dikarakterisasi yaitu gugus fungsi, water uptake, dan methanol uptake, sedangkan uji kinerja membran dilakukan dengan pengukuran permeabilitas metanol. Nilai permeabilitas yang diperoleh semakin menurun seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi metanol yang digunakan. Permeabilitas metanol tertinggi yang diperoleh sebesar 4,7771 x 10-5 cm2/s pada konsentrasi 1 M dan 2 M, sedangkan nilai permeablitas metanol terendah sebesar 1,9108 x 10-5 cm2/s pada konsentrasi metanol 5 M

    This thesis titled "Analysis the Participation of Members in the Employee Cooperative PT. PLN (Persero) "MEKAR" Areas of West Borneo. The focus of this research was to determine participation of members in saving saving capital, participation of members in following annual meeting of members, participation of members in utilizing the services a cooperative venture.The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative of survey shape. Sources of data in this study was cooperative chairmen, one of the managers of a cooperative and a three members a cooperative. This research uses data collecting technique with a direct communication technique and a technique of documentary studies in the form of interviews and a documentation. Whereas the data collection tools in the form of as interview guides and a record sheet. Research results show that the participation of members in saving capital can be categorized a good saving capital. Then participation of members in following the Annual Members Meeting can be category as very good and a for participation of members in utilizing the services cooperative effort category good
