    Simatelex establishes a new factory in Batam, Indonesia. With these conditions, the current problems faced are the accumulation of materials and the accumulation of finished goods that exceed the capacity of the land and the placement of materials that are still messy or mixed. To improve the layout of the material in the warehouse area, this study uses the Activity Relationship Chart and the CRAFT Algorithm method which will produce a form of production facility layout design that regulates production material traffic so that it runs smoothly and minimizes the total cost of material handling. The results show that this method can redesign the layout of the warehouse area to be better than the previous layout at PT Simatelex manufactory batam. Where from the 5 options selected are options B and C, because the flow of the production process has been regulated in accordance with the manufacture of PM3 PRODUCT so that it can reduce the total distance of material handling transfers and can save material handling costs so that layout improvements in the placement of raw parts for the work process are needed. by PT Simatelex Manufactory Batam to reduce transfer distances and reduce the level of material mixing

The method used is FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) by providing an assessment of risk and mitigation plans using QRA. (Quantitative Risk Analysis) covers all activities to identify hazardous events sequentially and the level of risk. The research was conducted on the process of repainting the aircraft body. The purpose of the study was to determine the negligence of technicians or human error in the process of repainting the aircraft body and the factors causing the problem. The results of the study describe that the frequency of failure of the Boeing 737-900 Series painting process with the type of reject dust is 31.25. The results of the FMEA analysis on the failure of the Boeing 737-900 Series painting process with factors caused by human error, namely lack of maintenance and cleaning of work equipment after use has an RPN value of 448

From the output from this research conducted at PT. Ganda Nusantara Persada shows that from the four perspectives, the company's condition is good. Step of this study will start from calculate the movement frequency, classify product base on the movement frequency, decide number of storage and propose the layout improvement with considering rack. There are a variety of forecasting methods available, each with varying degrees of accuracy and error. The lowest MAD, MSE, and MAPE error values produce the best forecasting results. The goal of this study is to find the best forecasting approach for CV. Barokah Utama. Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing, Holt Exponential Smoothing, Linear Regression, and Trend Projection are the methods used. Based on the MAD, MSE, and MAD values, the Moving Average method with a value of n = 3 was found to be the most suitable method with the lowest error value

    This study was conducted to analyze differences in consumer preferences in determining the quality and attitudes of consumers towards vape attributes in the city of Batam. The research was conducted in Batam Kota sub-district in June 2023. The method in this study uses a survey method with interviews based on a list of questions on a questionnaire. The sample was determined by random sampling method with 168 samples. The analysis used in the research is Chi Square analysis and Fishbein Multi-attribute. Chi Square analysis shows that apart from the comparison between prices below three hundred thousand rupiahs and between three hundred thousand rupiahs to seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs there is a difference of 95% confidence level. This means that there are differences in consumer preferences on vape. Multi-attribute Fishbein analysis shows that there are three attributes that get good consideration and two attributes get sufficient consideration in determining the quality of vape. The order of vape attributes from the highest consideration to the lowest consideration in determining vape quality is the availability of spare parts, product design, battery life, brand and price
