The importance of this activity is potentiated in this paper. The paper analyzed the production of honey, the total number of hives and honey production per hive in Central Serbia, Vojvodina and Serbian Danube region. The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of beekeeping as an economic sector that has significant potential for sustainable development within the Serbian Danube region.     Improvement of natural grassland as a factor of rural development in lower Danube Region

    The aim of this paper is presenting of importance of natural grasslands (meadows and pastures) in rural development of Lower Danube region. Production of efficient quantities of food for domestic animals and preservation of environment is strategically important for economic prosperity and animation of local population, as an aim to stay in rural areas and to develop their agricultural productivity. Lower Danube region have possibilities for development of agricultural production, because it possessed enough quantity of natural resources with highest quality. The territory of Lower Danube region make following municipalities: Golubac, Majdanpek, Negotin, Kladovo and Kučevo. In this municipalities land under meadows and pastures is on the second place, just behind arable land. Due to the presence of NP Đerdap on the territory of Lower Danube region is concluded that there are no obstacles for rural development, from the aspect of natural resources. But the following problems: fragmentation of land, the extensiveness of use, inadequate intake of organic matter and degradation processes caused by the action of man, affected the quality of natural grassland (meadows and pasture) and the production of forage crops in general. Because of that one of the most important tasks of rural development of these municipalities is proper using of grassland, which going to enabled development of this kind of agricultural production and protection of important plant species

    Artificial Neural Network for Prediction of Seat-to-Head Frequency Response Function During Whole Body Vibrations in the Fore-and-Aft Direction

    Vibrations while driving, regardless of their intensity and shape, have the most obvious effect of reducing driving comfort. Seat-to-head frequency response function (STHT) is a complex relationship resulting from the movement of the head due to the action of excitation on the seat in the form of vibrations in the seat/head interface. In this research, an artificial neural network model was developed, which aims to simulate the STHT function through the body of the subjects based on the data obtained experimentally. The experiments were conducted with twenty healthy male volunteers, who were exposed to single-axis fore-and-aft random broadband vibration. All the results of the experiment were recorded on the basis of which the artificial neural network (ANN) was trained. The developed ANN model has the ability to predict STHT values in the range of trained values both when changing the anthropometric measures of the subjects and changes in the input characteristics of vibrations. The mathematical models based on recurrent neural networks (RNN) used in this paper show with high accuracy STHT values in case there exists prior information about the anthropometric measures of the subjects and the input characteristics of vibrations. The results show that the expensive real-time simulations could be avoided by using reliable neural network models

    Numerous thermal springs which abounds Serbia provided the basis for planning the development of spa tourism. One of the potentially very attractive is also Spa Vrujci, which is currently not enough and do not adequately properly used. Located in the Municipality of Mionica, the spa has been left to chaotic development, with no clear policies for tourist development, as well as the absence of any marketing and management approaches at the destination. All these facts affected the tourism that does not give effect to any objective based on the available resources that could be. In the paper work was identified the tourist resources of Spas Vrujci on the basis which could make appropriate recommendations for possible strategic goals in its future tourist development

In agronomic terms, stimulates fuller utilization of nutrients in fresh form, in economic terms reducing costs the processing and storage, as well as the use of machinery in the production process.
