    This study aims to 1) to know the description of student's social support 2) to understand the student's self-esteem 3) to establish the relationship between social support and student's self-esteem. The subjects of the study were the students of class VIII Determination of the sample using a total sample which means the whole population becomes the sample. The research method used is correlation method, this research is aimed to determine the relationship of a variable with other variables. The results showed that half of the sample had good social support 2) almost half of the sample already have high self esteem 3) there is a significant positive correlation between social support with student self esteem, where if social support obtained by student good then price Student self will increase

    Entering the world of college, students must adapt not to expect too much guidance and counseling such as high school. Students must be given the independence of learning to achieve maturity to help him become a student of knowledge and religion. One of the students independence is by self-management or can be called self-management. The role of self-management is needed in learning activities, because self-management is one of the internal factors that affect learning. Good self-management is the driving force and motivator for individuals to learn, so that in individual learning will be more excited and not quickly bored in learning materials are learned and along with this can improve learning achievement. The purpose of this study is 1) to know the picture of student self-management. 2) To know the picture of student achievement. 3) To know the relationship of self-management with student achievement. Hypothesis in the proposed there is a positive and significant relationship between self-management with student learning achievement. The subjects of the study were Student Guidance and Counseling for the fourth semester of Universitas Riau, amounting to 64 people with the technique of determining the number of samples is called the total sampling ie the total sample is the whole of the population. Data collection using questionnaire about self management and student's Indeks Prestasi Komulatif data. Data analysis technique used is product moment analysis. Based on the calculation results obtained correlation coefficient value (r) of 0.466 with significant 0.000 <0.05. This shows that there is a relationship of self-management with student achievement. Effective contribution given by self management to learning achievement of 20,4% indicated by coefficient of Adjusted R Squared = 0,204, it still there are 79,6% other factors influencing learning achievement of intelligence, interest, environment

    Perbedaan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa yang Aktif Organisasi dengan Siswa yang Tidak Aktif Organisasi

    This study aims to determine the picture of the level of confidence of students who are active organizations, to know the picture level of confidence of students who are not active organizations and to know the differences of confidence of students who are active organizations with students who are not active organizations. Hypothesis in this research is: There is difference of confidence between student active organization with student that not active organization. Population in this research is all student in class XI MIA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used in this study is saturated sampling, which is the technique of determining the sample when all members of the population are used as a sample. This study uses an instrument of confidence questionnaire. Based on the T-Test Independent Sample output, the value of sig. (2-tailed) or p-value of 0.00 is 0.05 (0.00 <0.05), it can be concluded accepted, Significant self-confidence between an active student organization with an inactive student organization.
