Perbaikan Subgrade Ruas Jalan Pontianak-tayan yang Diperkuat dengan Menggunakan Geotextile dan Cerucuk

Sejalan dengan lajunya pertumbuhan lalu lintas yang selalu meningkat, berbagai USAha dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan akan prasarana jalan yang baik semakin berkembang pula. Mengingat kondisi tanah yang terdapat di Kota Pontianak dan sekitarnya merupakan tanah lempung gambut, yang memiliki daya dukung yang relatif rendah, maka harus diadakan perbaikan (stabilisasi) guna menaikkan daya dukung dan kekuatan tanah yang ada. Analisis penurunan tanah dasar pada kondisi dengan perkuatan cerucuk terbukti dapat menambah besarnya daya dukung tanah, dengan ditandai oleh besarnya angka penurunan yang lebih kecil daripada saat tanpa perkuatan cerucuk. Tercatat angka penurunan setelah perkuatan dengan cerucuk yaitu sebesar 17,22 cm, sedangkan pada kondisi tanpa perkuatan, besar penurunannya adalah 212 cm. Dengan demikian, penambahan cerucuk bisa dijadikan salah satu alternatif yang bagus dalam metode perbaikan tanah

Keragaman Jenis Semut Pengganggu di Permukiman Bogor

Ants are insects whit a nuisance in residential areas. Overall the presence of ants is strongly influenced by the availability of food, temperature, and humidity. This study aims to determine the diversity, dominance, and abundance of ants species urban settlement of Bogor. The study was conducted on February to June 2015 by purposive random sampling method at 10 markets, 25 restaurants, inside of the 30 houses and at perimeter of 30 house. Ants were collected by bait traps at 180 spots ( markets, restaurants, and inside the houses) and by hand collection at 30 spots of houses perimeter. The results showed that there were 11 ant species of three subfamilies (Dolichoderinae, Formicinae, Myrmicinae) in the markets, restaurants, and inside the houses. While, there were 20 ant species of 6 subfamilies (Dolichoderinae, Formicinae, Myrmicinae, Ponerinae, Proceratiinae, Pseudomyrmecinae) in house perimeters. The highest relative abundance and dominance of ant species in the market and inside the houses was Paratrechina longicornis, while in the restaurants was Anoplolepis gracilipes, Dolichoderus thoracicus was the highest abundance in perimeter of the house. Diversity index of ant species in the four locations were moderate category (H'= 1,2 at the market, H'= 1,6 at the restaurants, H'= 1.5 in the houses, and H'= 2.2 at houses perimeter)

The library has a very important meaning to the intellectual life of the nation in accordance with paragraph 4 of the opening of the constitution of 1945. The presence of libraries in each educational unit in the formal education is a necessity to function as a source of information on teaching and learning activities. Whether or not a library, is closely related to how the circulation of services provided to users. Services circulation is one of the first library services directly related to library users.Library SMAN 4 of Ternate in the business, to support their parent institutions in achieving the goal of providing various kinds of services kapada educators and students including circulation services. Circulation services include a variety of activities, namely lending and pegembalian collection, determining fines, the maintenance of a library membership and billing collection is past time limit borrowing.From the research results obtained by the students of SMAN 4 Ternate only occasionally emnggunakan circulation services, and assume that the system has good circulation. 26.6% were satisfied with the service circulation, 33.3% feel quite complete library collection, 40% still having trouble finding the collections, and 46% said the service was very helpful in finding the circulation of library collections.Expected circulation services can better help the students to find a collection that is needed in the library so that the means of retrieval should be considered

Cooperative Learning Type Team Assisted Individualized (Tai) Based on Ability to Beginning of Students in Implementation Strategy for Social Science Learning in Class VII Sekampung Junior High School , Lampung

Purpose of this study was to test a model of cooperative team assisted individualizd (TAI) in terms of the initial capabilities junior high school students. The subjects were students of class VII SMP Negeri Sekampung Lampung Province. This study is a quasi-experimental study(quasi-experimental)design Non-Equivalent Control GroupDesign.Learning achievement assessment instruments using essay test. The result of such assessment data is analyzed usingt-test with SPSS16.0 for Windows.The results showed no significant difference model of cooperative team assisted individualizd (TAI) and conventional models in terms of the ability of junior high school students beginning in the implementation of learning strategies IPS. Based on the difference between pretest and post-test showed that the average value gainscore experimental class (45.63) was higher than in the control group (30.02). Analisa Beda Tinggi Katup Dan Variasi Diameter Pipa Inlet Terhadap Unjuk Kerja Pompa Hidram Ukuran Dua Inchi

The effectiveness of Hydraulic ram pump performance is influenced by the parameter, those are the height of the fall, diameter of the pipe, types of pipe, characteristic of the waste valve, characteristic of conductor valve, the length of the inlet pipe and the length of the pipe on the waste valve.This research measured the volume of water entering, and the result volume of pumping up, the volume of the waste, the amount of wasting valve knock, the efficiency of D'aubuisson and of Rankine toward the variation of high valves difference(10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm) and the variation diameter of inlet pipe (2 inches, 2.5 inch and 3 inches). The result indicated that the variation of the high valve difference and variation diameter of inlet pipe reached the minimum and the highest efficiency. The minimum efficiency was 59.15% occurred in 15 cm high valves difference and in inlet pipe of 3 inches in diameter, while the highest efficiency was 95.29 % in 10 cm high valve difference and in inlet pipe of 2 inches in the hydraulic ram pum
