THE INFLUENCE OF MORPHOLOGICAL AWARENESS TO COLLEGE STUDENTS’ VOCABULARY MASTERY

Vocabulary is an element of language that has function to support the use of other elements of language (grammar, pronunciation, and spelling) and also to facilitate the use of four language skills. Morphological awareness is system that expected can help students  to improve their vocabulary mastery. Objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significant correlation between morphological awareness and vocabulary mastery. Correlation study was used as research design. Sample of this study was fifty-six of 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th semester undergraduate EFL students of Tridinanti University Palembang. Morphological awareness and vocabulary test were used as instruments. Morphological awareness test had 3 parts consisting of 45 items. Correlation analysis was used to examine correlation between morphological awareness and vocabulary mastery. Regression analysis was used to find out whether or not morphological awareness gave contribution to students’ vocabulary mastery. Then, vocabulary test consisted of 50 items. The result showed that there was a significant correlation between students’ morphological awareness and their vocabulary mastery but it was fair correlation. Moreover, morphological awareness contributed as much 21.9% toward  students’ vocabulary mastery. Therefore, cultivating morphological awareness could be applied as a right strategy to improve students’ vocabulary mastery.Keywords: morphological awareness, vocabulary mastery

This study to obtain empirical evidence of factors (profitability, firm size, financial leverage, and managerial ownership) that affect the practice of income smoothing. This research uses purposive sampling technique in determining sample selection. A total of 24 companies from 144 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) with 5 years of observation, which began in 2012 until 2016, so that obtained 120 research samples. Signaling Theory is a basic theory used to explain the relationship between variables. Income smoothing is measured using the Eckel index. Hypothesis testing used in this study is logistic regression analysis and z statistical test. The results of this study found that profitability and financial leverage have no effect on the practice of income smoothing, while firm size and managerial ownership have a negative effect on the practice of income smoothing. Tinjauan theory of planned behavior serta nasionalisme dalam pemilihan moda transportasi online

Transportasi menjadi salah satu hal yang menguntungkan bagi negara dan sebagai pendukung dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, dengan kemajuan teknologi yang didukung oleh penelitian yang baik, dapat meningkatkan komunikasi dengan sistem online, dan ojek sebagai salah satu alat transportasi menjadi target untuk kemajuan dan pertumbuhan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara simultan dan parsial, ada pengaruh positif, perilaku dan perilaku organisasi terhadap perilaku sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data yang digunakan secara online dan menggunakan metode simple random sampling pada 100 pelanggan Go-Jek di Kota Tangerang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji heteroskedastititas, multikolinieritas, normalitas, dan analisis jalur menggunakan program SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji t, hanya variabel norma subyektif dan kontrol perilaku yang tidak berpengaruh, tetapi seluruh data hasil uji analisis jalur, menyatakan bahwa semua variabel berpengaruh secara signifikan
