    A Pilot Study of Technology Adoption: an Analysis of Consumers' Preference on Future Online Grocery Service

    . The huge number of smartphone users in Indonesia is the main reason that most of new online retailers choose to develop mobile application-market based grocery. However, online grocery goes through sluggish rate of development due to minimum level on adoption of technology by consumers. The most barriers in adopting this technology are difficulties in transaction, late deliveries, incomplete information, and difficulties with site navigation and complex procedure also security in money transaction. Through literature review, this study attempts to go further to elaborate mobile application online grocery features that can be applied to promote an increasing online grocery service adoption. Based on the finding, the best combination features which more likely support customers to perceived convenience in using online grocery service is mobile application that contain nutritional quality information, allows customers to search the product by its attribute, provide order status tracker that allows customers to trace their groceries and provide cash on delivery service as payment method

    Business Model of Jamu as Indonesian Traditional Herbal Medicine in New Economy

    . Many firms in New Economy tend to depend more on intangible resources (i.e. knowledge and information) than tangible resources as in Old Economy. This shifting has made many firms favour the information technology for their daily business conducts today. The fast spreading of information leads to the fiercer competition than before. The great recognition of intangible assets somewhat calls for the notion of a new business model. Some enterprises and researchers expect this effort may generate more value for today's competition through combining all assets in proper judgments. Jamu, Indonesian traditional herbal medicine, also cannot avoid the impact of New Economy competition. Jamu enterprises need to preserve the traditional value in the midst of the modern lifestyle. Then, the urgency to maintain Jamu competitive advantage is felt necessary. To provide the new business model of Jamu that is deemed as appropriate in New Economy's competition is the aim of this study.     Persaingan di sektor jasa transportasi dari Bandung ke bandara Soekarno Hatta di Jakarta semakin marak dengan adanya penerbangan tarif rendah dan dibukanya jalan tol Cipularang. Melalui sebuah penelitian diketahui bahwa konsumen memilih penyedia jasa berdasarkan tujuh atribut, yakni harga, sistem reservasi tiket, fasilitas kendaraan, sikap pegawai, kualitas pelayanan, jaminan keberangkatan, dan sistem keberangkatan (door to door dan point to point). Di dalam tulisan ini ditampilkan peta persepsi setiap penyedia jasa menggunakan Multi Dimensional Scaling berdasarkan enam atribut karena persepsi mengenai harga sudah dipelajari di dalam penelitian lainnya.     Improving Income Through Farmers' Group Empowerment Strategy

    During recent years the concept of farmer empowerment has been put on the agenda and now is a part of Indonesian's government program. Empowerment of farmers' group considered necessary because, in agricultural development, farmers' group are the key development resource and subject in developing their agricultural efforts. This paper aims to explore the farmer's group empowerment strategies to improve their income. The paper is based solely on the reviews of literature on the topic of farmer's group and empowerment to explore the phenomena in the agricultural sector. Based on the findings, the paper proposes the farmers' group empowerment strategies such as farmer's group learning and innovation and information and communication technology (ICT) have a positive influence on improving their income
