    The applicability of sequence generating techniques to supercoiled DNA has been shown to depend on the functional form of the supercoiling energy. For partially melted closed circular DNA a range of superhelical densities may be found out where these techniques become applicable. These observations may have implications for partition function calculation of supercoiled DNA with arbitrary base sequence and composition
