    Binahong leaves (Anredera cordifolia) are a species from the Basellaceae family that has many benefits as an antibacterial, antitumor, wound healing, intestinal inflammation, and others. This is due to the presence of active ingredient compounds owned by Binahong leaves. This study aimed to screen for the active ingredient compounds present in Binahong leaf extract using water as a solvent. The method used in this study was fresh Binahong leaves mashed and then tested for active ingredient compounds including flavonoids, saponins, phenols, tannins, terpenoids, and steroids. The results obtained from this study were saponins and steroid compounds, while there were no flavonoids, terpenoids, tannins, or phenols

    Diperkirakan terdapat sekitar tujuh jenis ikan endemik di Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dengan status Rentan hingga Kritis. Kerusakan lingkungan akibat ulah manusia di perairan umum Pulau Bangka dikhawatirkan berdampak pada kelestarian sumberdaya ikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji upaya pelestarian ikan endemik ulau Bangka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei. Metode pengumpulan data primer melalui studi literatur dan wawancara dengan informan dari Dinas Perikanan Kabupaten Bangka, Dinas Perikanan dan Kelautan Kota Pangkalpinang dan Komunitas Lanun Tebat Rasu yang berjumlah 30 orang, dan data sekunder melalui literatur. Metode analisis data deskriptif.     It is estimated that there are around seven endemic fish species on Bangka Island. Environmental degradation due to human activities in the public waters of Bangka Island is feared to affect the sustainability of fish resources. Therefore, this study aims to determine the status of endemic fish utilisation on Bangka Island, and to determine efforts to conserve endemic fish on Bangka Island. The research method used was survey. Primary data collection method is through literature study and interviews, and secondary data is through literature. Descriptive data analysis method. The results of the study showed that the status of endemic fish on Bangka Island is three species of fish with Vulnerable status, two species of fish with Threatened status, and two species of fish with Critical status. Efforts to conserve fish resources include domestication, fisheries reserves, and fishing regulations

    OPTIMIZATION OF ANNEALING TEMPERATURE FOR COI GENE AMPLIFICATION ON EXTRIMOPHIL FISH USING REAL-TIME PCR

    Extremophilic fish require genetic characterization to determine the identity of their species, their kinship, and the potential for genetic variation due to extreme environmental adaptation. DNA barcoding using Fish-F2 and Fish-R2 primers at an annealing temperature of 52oC for 15 seconds showed qualitative failure results in most fish species. For this reason, optimizing the annealing temperature in the PCR process is necessary to obtain DNA bands that correlate with successful identification. Fish samples were obtained from Ruai Silip, Bangka Island, Membalong, Belitung Island, and Way Kanan, Lampung, Sumatra Island. The annealing temperature optimization was set at 50, 50.4, 51.1, 52.3, 53.7, 54.8, 55.5, and 56°C. Five species of extremophile fish were tested, namely Brevibora sp, Barbodes binotatus, Rasbora bankanensis, Anabas testudineus, and Aplocheilus panchax. Extremophile fish showed differences in the appearance of DNA bands in PCR with different annealing temperatures. Brevibora sp showed a visualization of DNA bands at 54.8°C, Barbodes binotatus at 53.7, 54.8, 55.5, and 56°C, Anabas testudineus at 50 and 50.4°C, and Aplocheilus panchax produced clearly visible band on annealing temperatures

Produk diolah dari ikan tangkapan nelayan local. Produk dikemas dengan plastic pouch. Himakuatik juga bekerjasama dengan toko oleh-oleh khas Bangka untuk pemasaran produknya.     Panjang Island, one of the islands in the Bangka Belitung Archipelago Province, has a significant capture fishery potential. The fishermen's wives manage by-products from fish catches as raw materials for fish kemplang production. However, the development of the kemplang fish business has not been optimal with various obstacles. University of Bangka Belitung team is trying to help kemplang processors on Panjang Island improve the production and packaging. Empowerment is carried out through socialization and training. Socialization was carried out to convey good manufacturing practice (GMP) and sanitation in kemplang production, while training was conducted on the use of cutting tools and packaging of kemplang products. The kemplang cutter can adjust the thickness and uniformity of the kemplang slices. Standing pouch packaging and using a sealer can increase the quality of kemplang's shelf life and provide an attractive appearance. Implementing production and packaging technology can be accepted by business actors making fish kemplang on Panjang Island.Pulau Panjang, salah satu pulau di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung, memiliki potensi perikanan tangkap yang besar. Hasil samping tangkapan ikan dikelola istri nelayan untuk bahan baku produksi kemplang ikan. Namun perkembangan usaha kemplang ikan belum optimal dengan berbagai kendalanya. Tim pengabdian Universitas Bangka Belitung berupaya membantu pengolah kemplang di Pulau Panjang memperbaiki produksi dan kemasan. Pengabdian dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Sosialisasi terlaksana untuk menyampaikan good manufacturing practice (GMP) dan sanitasi dalam produksi kemplang, sementara pelatihan dilakukan pada penggunaan alat potong dan pengemasan produk kemplang. Alat pemotong kemplang dapat mengatur ketebalan dan menyeragamkan irisan kemplang. Pengemasan standing pouch dan penggunaan sealer dapat meningkatkan daya simpan kualitas kemplang dan memberikan tampilan yang menarik. Implementasi teknologi produksi dan pengemasan dapat diterima oleh pelaku usaha pembuatan kemplang ikan di Pulau Panjang

    One of Region South Bangka is Panjang Island. Since the ocean sorrounds this region, so production vegetable is very minimal. The purpose of activity is the community can implement solar panel for fish and vegetable farming on Panjang Island. The process of implementation begans with the preparared of tools and materials, socialized with the Panjang Island community, constructed of the aquaponic system, preparared of the vegetable and fish cultivated, maintained of the system, oversight and controlled of sustainability, joined harvesting, and evaluated of the process overall. The implementation of a demonstration plot for water recirculation using solar power can fulfil the pump's electrical supply as a result of this service, allowing aquaponics operations to continue smoothly and increasing community independence in meeting nutritional needs.Pulau Panjang merupakan salah satu dusun yang berada Di Kecamatan Lepar, Bangka Selatan. Wilayah ini dikelilingi oleh lautan sehingga produksi sayur sangat minim. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat dapat mengimplementasikan tenaga surya untuk budidaya ikan dan sayuran di Pulau Panjang. Metode pelaksanaannya dimulai dengan persiapan alat dan bahan, sosialisasi kepada masyarakat Pulau Panjang, pembuatan akuaponik, persiapan budidaya sayuran, persiapan budidaya ikan, pemeliharaan akuaponik, pengawasan da kontrol keberlanjutan, panen bersama dan evaluasi pelaksanaan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah implementasi demplot pembuatan resirkulasi air dengan menggunakan tenaga surya dapat mencukupi suplai listrik pompa, sehingga kegiatan akuaponik dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan meningkatkan kemandirian masyarakat dalam memenuhi asupan gizi
