    LSLC-BASED GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF ELECTROLYTE AND NON-ELECTROLYTE SOLUTIONS

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the application of guided discovery learning models based on lesson study for community learning on student learning outcomes. The type of research that pseudo-experiments use with research design is pretest-postest control group design. The population consists of students of class X MIPA at public high school 1 Padang. Sample selection is carried out by random sampling techniques, and selected sample classes, namely X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 4. The instrument used in this study is a test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions consisting of 20 questions with 5 answer options. Data analysis techniques use n-gain tests, normality tests, F tests and hypothesis tests (t tests). The average learning outcomes of students of the experiment and control classes were 81, and 72, respectively,.The level of influence of LSLC-based guided discovery learning models is analyzed through n-gain test scores. From the results of the study obtained an n-gain score in the experimental class of 0.74 with a high category while the control class was 0.61 with a medium category. At the significance level of 0.05 indicates the value of tcount (2.746) > ttable (1.995). So that the implementation of a guided discovery learning model based on lesson study for community learning has a problem with improving student learning outcome

    Implementation of Guided Discovery Learning Model with SETS Approach Assisted by Chemistry E-Module to Improve Creative Thinking Skills of Students

    Creative thinking skills can train and develop thinking processes in finding new ideas and ideas to solve chemical problems and problems through discovery, exploration, experimentation, showing and demonstrating similarities, differences, and consistency. Therefore, it is necessary to update what has been learned, such as choosing the right strategy. This study aims to demonstrate the effect of implementing a guided discovery learning model using a SETS approach supported by the chemical Young's modulus on the creative thinking skills of students in the SMAN 1 Padang XI class. The method used was a quasi-experimental study with a randomized control group posttest-only design. The population of this study is all SMAN 1 Padang Class XI students enrolled in the 2021/2022 academic year, which includes 7 classes. A study population is grouped using random sampling techniques. The non-testing tools used were the Student Profile Assessment Form and the Creativity Assessment Criteria. The data analysis technique in this study was quantitative data analysis, testing hypotheses by using two unpaired samples in the mean similarity test analysis tcount> ttable. The result of the hypothesis test indicates that the research hypothesis is accepted. This means that the implementation of the Guided Discovery Learning Model using the SETS approach supported by the Electrochemistry module has had a significant impact on the creative thinking skills of students in Class XI at SMA 1 Negeri PadangKeterampilan berpikir kreatif dapat melatih dan mengembangkan proses berpikir dalam menemukan gagasan dan ide baru untuk menyelesaikan suatu permasalahan dan persoalan kimia melalui kegiatan penemuan, mengeksplorasi, eksperimen, menunjukkan dan mendemonstrasikan kesamaan, perbedaan, serta konsistensi. Sehingga diperlukan pembaharuan pembelajaran seperti pemilihan strategi yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh pengimplementasian model guided discovery learning dengan pendekatan SETS berbantuan e-modul kimia terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Padang. Metode yang digunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu randomize control-group posttest only design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Padang yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang terdiri dari 7 kelas. Sekelompok populasi penelitian ini dikelompokkan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen non tes yang digunakan dalam bentuk lembar penilaian portofolio peserta didik dan rubrik penilaian kreativitas. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data kuantitatif dengan menguji hipotesis menggunakan  dua sampel tidak berpasangan pada uji kesamaan analisis rata-rata. Hasil uji hipotesis thitung > ttabel, menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian diterima. Dengan artian bahwa implementasi model guided discovery learning dengan pendekatan SETS berbantuan e-modul kimia berpengaruh secara signifikan pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas XI di SMA 1 Negeri Padang

This type of research used quasi-experimental research design, namely pretest-posttest control group design. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen semu, yaitu pretest-posttest control group design. Populasinya adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Linggabayu tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, dan kelas sampelnya adalah XI MIPA 1 dan XI MIPA 4. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes berupa soal pilihan ganda yang terdiri dari 20 soal dengan 5 pilihan jawaban. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji n-gain, uji normalitas, uji F dan uji hipotesis (uji t). Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol masing-masing adalah 81 dan 72. Dari hasil penelitian nilai n-gain pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,74 dalam kategori tinggi sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,61 dalam kategori sedang. Pada taraf signifikansi 0,05, nilai thitung > ttabel. Sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berbasis lesson study bagi masyarakat belajar berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa

    This study aims to produce teaching materials based material reaction rate guided inquiry (learning cycle: the phase of exploration, discovery / establishment of the concept and application) in the form of a valid experiment worksheets and practical use in learning chemistry in SMA / MA. This type of research included in Research and Development (R & D). The development model used in this study is the four-D (4-D). The research instrument is the validation sheet and questionnaire. Data from the study consists of three aspects, namely, the validity, the practicalities and effectiveness of teaching materials. Data validity and practicalities processed using Cohen's Kappa formula, and the effectiveness of data using a percentage In this study is limited to the validity and practicalities. Validation of teaching materials from the aspect of content, language and graffiti and feasibility of construction. Data from the validator obtained an average score moment kappa was 0.87, and the results of practical analysis conducted with a limited test in MAN 3 Padang obtained an average score of 0.84 practicality value of 0.78 of teachers and students. From the analysis worksheets that showed 86 % of students working on critical questions and exercises contained in LKS experiments that have been made can be answered students.     Validity and Practicality of Chemical Equilibrium E-Module Based on Integrated Guided Inquiry (IGI) Learning for Senior High School Grade Eleven

    Chemical equilibrium is a material studied in class grade eleven for senior high school which consists of theory and practicum, so that teaching materials are needed that can support the characteristics of this material. This study aims to produce a chemical equilibrium e-module based on integrated guided inquiry (IGI) to reveal the level of validity and practicality. The type of research used is research and development (R&D). The development model used is Plom which consists of three stages, namely preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. The research instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a validity and practicality sheet. The data obtained from the research instrument were analyzed using the Aiken'V formula, and percentage. Based on the results of data analysis with the Aiken'V formula, the construct validity was 0.89 in the valid category, while for the technical, the Aiken'V value was 0.90% in the valid category. For the practicality assessment by the teacher, 91.49% was obtained in the very practical category and the practicality by the students was 87.84% in the very practical category. It is concluded that the product developed is valid and very practical

    Chemical concepts are not only taught abstractly by the teacher, but students also need to do it independently to better understand, of course, with the help of the teacher. So it is necessary to intervene in learning such as the right way in learning the right way. The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effect of implementing a guided discovery learning model with the SETS approach with the help of a chemistry module on the scientific skills of SMA Negeri 1 Padang class XI students. The method of this study uses a quasi-experimental type of study, and the study design used is a randomized control group test-only design. The subject of this study is all students in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang, who are actively enrolled in 2021/202, which consists of seven classes. Groups of research populations are grouped using random sampling techniques. Multiple-choice test equipment/2-step literacy is based on up to 20 items. Technical analysis of data in this study is quantitative data analysis by testing hypotheses using the average analysis of the similarity test of 2 groups of unpaired samples (independent). The results of the hypothesis test, namely tcount> ttable, determined that the research hypothesis was accepted. This means that the implementation of a guided discovery learning model with the SETS approach supported by the Chemistry E module will have a significant impact on the scientific abilities of Class XI students in SMA Negeri 1 PadangKonsep-konsep kimia tidak hanya diajarkan secara abstrak oleh guru, tetapi peserta didik juga perlu melakukan secara mandiri untuk lebih memahami tentunya dengan bantuan guru. Sehingga diperlukan intervensi dalam pembelajaran seperti cara jitu dalam pembelajaran yang tepat. Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh dari implementasi model guided discovery learning dengan pendekatan SETS berbantuan e-modul kimia terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang.     Development of Buffer Solution Students’ Worksheet Based on Problem Based Learning with Ethnochemistry to Improve Students’ Science Literacy Ability

    Merdeka curriculum emphasizes the ability of students to understand and apply their concepts to solve contextual problems. This research aimed to determine the validity, practicality, and effectivity of buffer solution students’ worksheet based on problem based learning with etnochemistry on students’ science literacy ability. The development model used in this research is 4-D. buffer solution students’ worksheet was validated by 3 chemistry lectures and 2 chemistry teachers. Practicality tests were carried out by 3 chemistry teachers and 32 students. Then, the level of effectiveness of buffer solution students' worksheet is known through the N-gain test. The validity test was analyzed by using aiken's v derived formula consisting the validity of the content and construct which was 0.91 and 0.90 with category valid. The results of the practicality of teachers and students was 88.80 and 87.75 with higher category. Analysis of the n-gain value obtained the results of the value of g = 0.86 in the high category. Then the date analyzed with quantitative method by using hypotheses testing, determined that the research hypothesis was accepted. This result confirmed that buffer solution students’ worksheet based on problem based learning with ethnochemistry was valid, practical, and effective to improving students’ science literacy ability significantly

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat penuntun praktikum sederhana bagi siswa sekolah menengah atas dan menentukan tingkat validitas, kepraktisan dan efektif dari penuntun praktikum tersebut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research dan Development (R&D). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Plomp yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: penelitian pendahuluan, tahap prototipe, dan tahap penilaian. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner validitas, kepraktisan dan efektifitas. Panduan Praktis alternatif berbasis lingkungan divalidasi oleh 4 orang validator dan diuji kepada 17 siswa kelas XII IPA 3 SMAN 2 Bayang dan 29 siswa kelas XI IPA 4 SMAN 1 Batang Kapas tahun akademik 2017/2018. Data validitas, kepraktisan dan efektif dianalisis dengan rumus Kappa Cohen. Momen kappa validitas adalah 0,79 dengan kategori validitas tinggi. Tingkat kepraktisan kuesioner respon guru diperoleh dengan nilai 0,84 dengan kategori kepraktisan tertinggi. Berdasarkan kuesioner respon siswa, nilai momen kappa adalah 0,77 pada SMAN 2 Bayang dan 0,90 pada SMAN 1 Batang Kapas dengan kategori kepraktisan tinggi untuk uji kelompok kecil, dan nilai momen kappa adalah 0,81 pada SMAN 2 Bayang dan 0,84 di SMAN 1 Batang Kapas dengan kategori kepraktisan tertinggi dalam uji lapangan. Tingkat efektivitas kuesioner respon guru diperoleh nilai 0,89 dengan tingkat efektivitas yang sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan kuesioner respon siswa, nilai momen kappa adalah 0,76 dengan kategori efektifitas tinggi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penuntun alternatif berbasis panduan praktis bagi siswa SMA memiliki kategori validitas tinggi, kategori kepraktisan tertinggi, kategori efektifitas tinggi dari siswa dan efektivitas tertinggi dari guru
