Morphological Traits of Brown Trout (Salmo Trutta Fario) from Fiad Trout Farm, Bistrița-Năsăud County
The purpose of this this study was to complete the data from the specialized literature regarding some morphological charactersof male and female breeders of brown trout (Salmo trutta fario), exploited in Fiad trout farm, Bistrița-Năsăud County, Romania. The body mass (Bm) of males ranged from 0.67 kg to 1.39 kg with a mean value of 0.96 ±0.07 kg. The body mass of females (Bm) ranged from 0.50 kg to 0.90 kg with a mean value of 0.73±0.04 kg. In terms of descriptive statistics, the values of variability of studied characters, both males and females, are low. This low variability, shows the existence of a good homogeneity of the breeding group from Fiad trout farm. The One-Way ANOVA analysis showed that there is no statistically significance difference for the means of studied characters, except for commercial length and small perimeter of fishes. The results of t-test for showed that there is a statistically significance difference between the measurements and the gender of the specimens

Mobile Mechatronic/Robotic Orthotic Devices to Assist–Rehabilitate Neuromotor Impairments in the Upper Limb: A Systematic and Synthetic Review
This paper overviews the state-of-the-art in upper limb robot-supported approaches, focusing on advancements in the related mechatronic devices for the patients' rehabilitation and/or assistance. Dedicated to the technical, comprehensively methodological and global effectiveness and improvement in this inter-disciplinary field of research, it includes information beyond the therapy administrated in clinical settings-but with no diminished safety requirements. Our systematic review, based on PRISMA guidelines, searched articles published between January 2001 and November 2017 from the following databases: Cochrane, Medline/PubMed, PMC, Elsevier, PEDro, and ISI Web of Knowledge/Science. Then we have applied a new innovative PEDro-inspired technique to classify the relevant articles. The article focuses on the main indications, current technologies, categories of intervention and outcome assessment modalities. It includes also, in tabular form, the main characteristics of the most relevant mobile (wearable and/or portable) mechatronic/robotic orthoses/exoskeletons prototype devices used to assist-rehabilitate neuromotor impairments in the upper limb
Periodontal status and inflammatory markers in gingival crevicular fluid of patients with periodontitis and colorectal cancer
Objectives. The present pilot study was carried out to evaluate the periodontal status, the levels of interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor alpha in gingival crevicular fluid on hospitalized patients with colorectal cancer. Materials and Methods. The sample of our study was represented by 74 patients with colorectal cancer. They were assigned to one of the two study groups, based on cancer’s stages, as follows: (i) stage III-IV: 51 patients (A-group); (ii) stage I-II: 23 patients (B-group). For each participant periodontal parameters were recorded and gingival crevicular fluid samples were collected and immunologically assessed. Results. Statistically significant differences were found between the two groups, regarding probing pocket depth, clinical attachment loss, bleeding on probing, interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor alpha. In A-group, statistically significant correlations were found between the inflammatory markers and probing pocket depth and between their levels and bleeding on probing. In B-group, statistically significant correlation was found between the levels of interleukin-6 and bleeding on probing. Conclusions. Our results suggest an association between the severity of periodontitis, the studied immunologic inflammatory markers and colorectal cancer’s severity
