    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pemberdayaan perempuan dan pengarusutamaan gender melalui layanan pendidikan masyarakat pada Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei, teknik pengumpulan data melalui penyebaran angket, dan teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hal-hal sebagai berikut. (1) Layanan program pendidikan masyarakat yang paling banyak diikuti oleh responden adalah pendidikan kesetaraan (61,4%), dan jenis kelamin responden dalam penelitian ini adalah perempuan (75,8%). (2) Pemberdayaan perempuan dan pengarusutamaan gender melalui pendidikan masyarakat (61,5%). (3) Model pemberdayaan perempuan dan pengarusutamaan gender melaui pendidikan masyarakat, dipandang strategis dengan pengintegrasian berbagai program yang direncanakan oleh pemerintah dengan program life skill sehingga akan menghasilkan sumberdaya manusia yang berakhalak mulia, cerdas, terampil dan mandiri

    This study aims at finding a model of Sustainable Technical Assistance that can improve the Package C tutors\u27competence. The alternative model selected to achieve the research objective was by developing a model based on Sustainable Technical Assistance and focusing on the tutors\u27 technical ability to perform their instructional tasks. The development of this model was based on the assumption that the previous model was conducted partially, much oriented on cognitive aspect, and conducted in conventional ways, and the content did not fit to the participants\u27 needs. The Sustainable Technical Assistance model was developed applying research and development approach. The results showed that the model needs to be tried out to improve the pedagogical competence of Package C tutors at the national standard

    Lasing in metamaterial nanostructures

    A self-consistent computational scheme is presented for one dimensional (1D) and two dimensional (2D) metamaterial systems with gain incorporated into the nanostructures. The gain is described by a generic four-level system. The loss compensation and the lasing behavior of the metamaterial system with gain are studied. A critical pumping rate exists for compensating the losses of the metamaterial. There exists a wide range of input signals where the composite system behaves linearly. Nonlinearities arise for stronger signals due to gain depletion. The retrieved effective parameters are presented for one layer of gain embedded in two layers of Lorentz dielectric rods and split ring resonators with two different gain inclusions: (1) gain is embedded in the gaps only and (2) gain is surrounding the SRR. When the pumping rate increases, there is a critical pumping rate that the metamaterial system starts lasing.Comment: 18 pages, 19 figures, submitted to Journal of Optics A: Pure and Applied Optic

    Optical anisotropic metamaterials: Negative refraction and focusing

    We design three-dimensional (3D) metallic nanowire media with different structures and numerically demonstrate that they can be homogeneous effective indefinite anisotropic media by showing that their dispersion relations are hyperbolic. For a finite slab, a nice fitting procedure is exploited to obtain the dispersion relations from which we retrieve the effective permittivities. The pseudo focusing for the real 3D wire medium agrees very well with the homogeneous medium having the effective permittivity tensor of the wire medium. Studies also show that in the long-wavelength limit, the hyperbolic dispersion relation of the 3D wire medium can be valid even for evanescent modes.Comment: 7 pages, 9 figure

    Teknik budidaya tanaman kacang panjang saat ini yaitu teknik budidaya menggunakan mulsa. Mulsa adalah material penutup tanah pada tanaman budidaya dimaksudkan untuk menjaga kelembaban tanah , menekan pertumbuhan gulma dan melindungi dari serangan OPT (Organisme pengganggu tanaman) sehingga tanaman dapat tumbuh dengan baik, Untuk mendapatkan hasil tanaman budidaya yang maksimal pemberian pupuk juga harus dilakukan. Penggunaan berbagai jenis mulsa dan pupuk diharapkan dapat berpengaruh terhadap intensitas serangan OPT dan hasil tanaman kacang panjang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember, Jl.Karimata, Kabupaten Jember, ,Pada tanggal 10 November 2017 sampai dengan 14 Februari 2018. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial. Ada 2 faktor, faktor 1 jenis mulsa terdiri dari (M1) tanpa mulsa, (M2) mulsa kacang tanah ,(M3) mulsa plastik (M4) mulsa jerami . Faktor 2 Jenis pupuk; (P1) NPK Phonska, (P2) Urea,SP36,KCl, (P3) ZA, SP36, KCl. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa mulsa plastik berpengaruh sangat baik terhadap intentensitas kerusakan pada daun, kepadatan populasi hama, total jumlah buah sehat dan berat panen pertanaman, Jenis pupuk tidak berpengaruh terhadap intensitas serangan daun dan hasil tanaman. Interaksi penggunaan mulsa plastik dan pupuk NPK phonska memberikan pengaruh yang baik terhadap variabel total jumlah buah yang sehat

    This research has been conducted in order to see the correlation of modification of plyometric practice with the study results of straddle high jump by the third grade students of junior high school 2 Pontianak.The population of this research are all the third grade students of junior high school 2 Pontianak which are 245 students. The sample that have been used in this research are 35 students with purposive sampling. The method that has been used in this research is pre-experimental design.Data analysis are conducted with computerization system and also with t analysis. The analysis results by mc.exel computerization has gained 20,11 of t test with dB=(N-1) is 35-1=34 and when 5% significance, t table value is 2,034 with the increment of percentage is 39,06%. According to the t test result, it can be concluded that there is a correlation between the modification of plyometric practice and the result of straddle high jump

    Facies analysis, glauconite distribution and sequence stratigraphy of the middle Eocene Qarara Formation, El-Minya area, Egypt

    AbstractThe Qarara Formation consists mainly of shale at the base and overlain by limestone at the top. The formation is Middle Eocene (Lutetian) in age. Three sections located at the eastern bank of the Nile River in El-Minya Province have been measured, described, and sampled. These sections from north to south are: Gebel Qarara, El-Sheikh Fadl, and Gebel El-Ahmar.The main microfacies identified in the studied sections are: silty claystone, silty shale, fossiliferous glauconite, glauconitic (green) sand, glauconitic fossiliferous ironstone, glauconitic bioclastic wacke-packstone, glauconitic bioclastic lime-mudstone-wackestone. These microfacies have been deposited in shallow open marine environment.Collectively the studied rocks contain two principal facies: lower argillaceous facies and upper carbonate facies that separated by glauconitic fossiliferous ironstone bed. The lower argillaceous part represents highstand systems tract (HST), whereas the upper carbonate part represents transgressive systems tract (TST). The glauconitic fossiliferous ironstone bed is recognized as a sequence boundary (SB)
