magnitude of the influence of entrepreneurial theory and entrepreneurship practice
to entrepreneurship spirit is 49,1%, while the rest is influenced by other variables
Coherent states for exactly solvable potentials
A general algebraic procedure for constructing coherent states of a wide
class of exactly solvable potentials e.g., Morse and P{\"o}schl-Teller, is
given. The method, {\it a priori}, is potential independent and connects with
earlier developed ones, including the oscillator based approaches for coherent
states and their generalizations. This approach can be straightforwardly
extended to construct more general coherent states for the quantum mechanical
potential problems, like the nonlinear coherent states for the oscillators. The
time evolution properties of some of these coherent states, show revival and
fractional revival, as manifested in the autocorrelation functions, as well as,
in the quantum carpet structures.Comment: 11 pages, 4 eps figures, uses graphicx packag
Asymmetric nuclear matter:the role of the isovector scalar channel
We try to single out some qualitative new effects of the coupling to the
-isovector-scalar meson introduced in a minimal way in a
phenomenological hadronic field theory. Results for the equation of state
() and the phase diagram of asymmetric nuclear matter () are
discussed. We stress the consistency of the -coupling introduction in a
relativistic approach. New contributions to the slope and curvature of the
symmetry energy and the neutron-proton effective mass splitting appear
particularly interesting. A more repulsive for neutron matter at high
baryon densities is expected. Effects on new critical properties of warm ,
mixing of mechanical and chemical instabilities and isospin distillation, are
also presented. The influence is mostly on the {\it isovectorlike}
collective response.
The results are largely analytical and this makes the physical meaning quite
transparent. Implications for nuclear structure properties of drip-line nuclei
and for reaction dynamics with Radioactive Beams are finally pointed out.Comment: 12 pages, 10 Postscript figure
Asymmetric nuclear matter in a Hartree-Fock approach to non-linear QHD
The Equation of State (EOS) for asymmetric nuclear matter is discussed
starting from a phenomenological hadronic field theory of Serot-Walecka type
including exchange terms. In a model with self interactions of the scalar
sigma-meson we show that the Fock terms naturally lead to isospin effects in
the nuclear EOS. These effects are quite large and dominate over the
contribution due to isovector mesons. We obtain a potential symmetry term of
"stiff" type, i.e. increasing with baryon density and an interesting behaviour
of neutron/proton effective masses of relevance for transport properties of
asymmetric dense matter.Comment: 12 pages (LATEX), 3 Postscript figures, revised versio
Differential Transverse Flow in Central C-Ne and C-Cu Collisions at 3.7 GeV/nucleon
Differential transverse flow of protons and pions in central C-Ne and C-Cu
collisions at a beam energy of 3.7 GeV/nucleon was measured as a function of
transverse momentum at the SKM-200-GIBS setup of JINR. In agreement with
predictions of a transversely moving thermal model, the strength of proton
differential transverse flow is found to first increase gradually and then
saturate with the increasing transverse momentum in both systems. While pions
are preferentially emitted in the same direction of the proton transverse flow
in the reaction of C-Ne, they exhibit an anti-flow to the opposote direction of
the proton transverse flow in the reaction of C-Cu due to stronger shadowing
effects of the heavier target in thr whole range of transverse momentum.Comment: 15 pages, 5 figure
EFFICHRONIC study protocol: A non-controlled, multicentre European prospective study to measure the efficiency of a chronic disease self-management programme in socioeconomically vulnerable populations
Introduction More than 70% of world mortality is due to chronic conditions. Furthermore, it has been proven that social determinants have an enormous impact on both health-related behaviour and on the received attention from healthcare services. These determinants cause h
Lower limit on the neutralino mass in the general MSSM
We discuss constraints on SUSY models with non-unified gaugino masses and R_P
conservation. We derive a lower bound on the neutralino mass combining the
direct limits from LEP, the indirect limits from gmuon, bsgamma, Bsmumu and the
relic density constraint from WMAP. The lightest neutralino (mneutralino=6GeV)
is found in models with a light pseudoscalar with MA<200GeV and a large value
for . Models with heavy pseudoscalars lead to mneutralino>18(29)GeV
for . We show that even a very conservative bound from the
muon anomalous magnetic moment can increase the lower bound on the neutralino
mass in models with mu<0 and/or large values of . We then examine
the potential of the Tevatron and the direct detection experiments to probe the
SUSY models with the lightest neutralinos allowed in the context of light
pseudoscalars with high . We also examine the potential of an e+e-
collider of 500GeV to produce SUSY particles in all models with neutralinos
lighter than the W. In contrast to the mSUGRA models, observation of at least
one sparticle is not always guaranteed.Comment: 37 pages, LateX, 16 figures, paper with higher resolution figures

Pulsar-wind nebulae and magnetar outflows: observations at radio, X-ray, and gamma-ray wavelengths
We review observations of several classes of neutron-star-powered outflows:
pulsar-wind nebulae (PWNe) inside shell supernova remnants (SNRs), PWNe
interacting directly with interstellar medium (ISM), and magnetar-powered
outflows. We describe radio, X-ray, and gamma-ray observations of PWNe,
focusing first on integrated spectral-energy distributions (SEDs) and global
spectral properties. High-resolution X-ray imaging of PWNe shows a bewildering
array of morphologies, with jets, trails, and other structures. Several of the
23 so far identified magnetars show evidence for continuous or sporadic
emission of material, sometimes associated with giant flares, and a few
possible "magnetar-wind nebulae" have been recently identified.Comment: 61 pages, 44 figures (reduced in quality for size reasons). Published
