Are You A Risk Taker? Adversarial Learning of Asymmetric Cross-Domain Alignment for Risk Tolerance Prediction

Most current studies on survey analysis and risk tolerance modelling lack professional knowledge and domain-specific models. Given the effectiveness of generative adversarial learning in cross-domain information, we design an Asymmetric cross-Domain Generative Adversarial Network (ADGAN) for domain scale inequality. ADGAN utilizes the information-sufficient domain to provide extra information to improve the representation learning on the information-insufficient domain via domain alignment. We provide data analysis and user model on two data sources: Consumer Consumption Information and Survey Information. We further test ADGAN on a real-world dataset with view embedding structures and show ADGAN can better deal with the class imbalance and unqualified data space than state-of-the-art, demonstrating the effectiveness of leveraging asymmetrical domain information

Molecular Basis of PIP2-dependent Conformational Switching of Phosphorylated CD44 in binding FERM

Association of the cellular adhesive protein CD44 and the N-terminal (FERM) domain of cytoskeleton adaptors is critical for cell proliferation, migration and signaling. Phosphorylation of the cytoplasmic domain (CTD) of CD44 acts as an important regulator of the protein association, but the structural transformation and dynamics mechanism remain enigmatic. In this study, extensive coarse-grained simulations were employed to explore the molecular details in the formation of CD44-FERM complex under S291 and S325 phosphorylation, a modification path known to exert reciprocal effects on the protein association. We find that phosphorylation of S291 inhibits complexation by causing the CTD of CD44 to adopt a more closed structure. In contrast, S325 phosphorylation liberates the CD44-CTD from the membrane surface and promotes the linkage with FERM. The phosphorylation-driven transformation is found to occur in a PIP2-dependent manner, with PIP2 effecting the relative stability of the closed and open conformation, and a replacement of PIP2 by POPS greatly abrogates this effect. The revealed interdependent regulation mechanism by phosphorylation and PIP2 in the association of CD44 and FERM further strengthens our understanding of the molecular basis of cellular signaling and migration.</p

La publication de la loi sur le contrat de travail en Chine a suscité un vif débat à propos du fardeau économique que représentent, pour les entreprises, les coûts de production liés à la main-d’œuvre. S’appuyant sur des données recueillies dans la province du Guangdong, dans le sud de la Chine, les résultats empiriques indiquent qu’en moyenne, pour les entreprises échantillonnées, l’augmentation du coût de la main-d’œuvre pouvant être attribuée à l’entrée en vigueur de la loi est de l’ordre de 2,54 à 4,9 %, ce qui n’est pas si important en termes économiques

Karakteristik Habitat Bentik Perairan Dangkal di Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara

Desa Banjarsari terletak di Pulau Enggano, salah satu pulau terluar pesisir barat Indonesia yang berada di Samudera Hindia. Posisi Pulau Enggano yang berada di Samudera Hindia mempengaruhi dinamika habitat pesisir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik habitat bentik pesisir Desa Banjarsari, Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei di Bulan Agustus 2022. Identifikasi awal habitat bentik pada citra Planetscope komposit true colour dilakukan untuk menentukan transek sampel. Sampel habitat bentik dikoleksi menggunakan metode foto transek berdasarkan transek sampel pada citra. Habitat bentik perairan dangkal di Desa Banjarsari terdiri dari padang lamun, makroalga, terumbu karang dan substrat. Padang lamun yang ditemukan antara lain jenis Halodule uninervis, Cimodocea rotundata, Thalassia hempricii. Terumbu karang di perairan dangkal ditemukan jenis karang bercabang. Substrat perairan dangkal berupa pasir bercampur rubble (pecahan karang). Karakteristik habitat bentik perairan dangkal didominasi oleh kelompok substrat dan padang lamun

Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung im Inland zur Jahresmitte 2011 - Zunehmende Risiken für die Konjunktur

Die Expansion in Deutschland hat sich im Verlauf der ersten Hälfte dieses Jahres nach sehr schwungvollem Beginn spürbar verlangsamt. Dämpfend wirkten vor allem der Außenhandel und die privaten Konsumausgaben. Es ist allerdings schwierig, aus dem Quartalsverlauf die konjunkturelle Grundtendenz herauszulesen. Das erste Quartal war wohl durch die Witterung und die ungewöhnlich späte Lage des Osterfestes begünstigt, das zweite wurde durch die Abschaltung von mehreren Atomreaktoren beeinflusst, die sich in einem deutlichen Rückgang der Energieerzeugung niederschlug. Allerdings lassen sowohl realwirtschaftliche als auch umfragebasierte Indikatoren wenig Zweifel daran, dass das BIP derzeit schwächer wächst als im Durchschnitt des laufenden Aufschwungs. Die Zunahme der Industrieproduktion wie auch der Bautätigkeit haben sich seit Beginn des Jahres verlangsamt. Gleichzeitig verschlechterten sich alle Klimaindikatoren, auch wenn sie immer noch in einem Bereich liegen, der davon ausgehen lässt, dass die Wirtschaft wächst. Deutlich verschlechtert haben sich die internationalen Rahmenbedingungen. Daher dürfte die Außenwirtschaft auch 2012 kaum einen Beitrag zum Wachstum liefern. Dies schlägt erfahrungsgemäß auf die Unternehmensinvestitionen durch, bei denen eine Verlangsamung zu erwarten ist. Der Wohnungsbau dürfte hingegen insbesondere von den wohl weiterhin günstigen Hypothekenzinsen und der anhaltend stabilen Beschäftigung profitieren, die auch die privaten Konsumausgaben stützt. Alles in allem prognostizieren wir, dass das reale BIP in diesem Jahr um 2,9% steigen wird (Tabelle 1). Darin spiegeln sich jedoch im Wesentlichen der statistische Überhang aus dem Vorjahr und das starke erste Quartal wider.
