    It has been applied the arisan card active learning strategy to improve students learning achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbons in class X of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X5 as the experimental class and the students of class X6 as the control class. They were randomly determined after given the tests of normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying active learning strategy of arisan card in learning process. The data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tcount> ttable, which is 2,85 >1.67. It means that the application of active learning strategy of arisan card can improve student learning achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbons in class X of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student achievement at experiment class was high category with normalized N-gain which is 0,81

    The research on application of active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) has been done to improve of student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure in class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru. Form of the research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two classes, namely class X IPA 4 as the experimental and class X IPA 2 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was given implementing active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) while the control class was not given implementing active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ). Data analysis technique used the t-test. Based on the result of the final data processing t-test formula obtained tarithmetic>ttable (1,97 > 1,67) means the application of active learning method Learning Starts With A Question (LSQ) can improve student achievement on the subject of Atomic Structure in class X SMAN 11 Pekanbaru, with an increase of 5,59%

    This Research is about the application of active learning strategy learning tournament type that has conducted to know the increasing of student's learning achievement on of salt hydrolysis at class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 2 class as experimental class and XI IPA 5 class as control class. Experimental class is a class that is used application of active learning strategy learning tournament, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on analysis of data obtained tarithmetic > ttable is 3,37 > 1,67, means that the application of active learning strategy learning tournament can improve student achievement on the subject of reaction rate in class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru where the effect of an increase is 16,34%

    It has been done of research with applied the active learning strategy of Football Verbal that aims to improve student learning achievement on the topic of Colloid in class XI science of Senior High School Number1 Kampar Timur. The research is a kind of experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA3 as the control class randomly selected after homogeneity test. Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying active learning strategy of Football Verbal in learning process. Data analysis technique used is the t-test with α = 0,05. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tcount> ttable which is 3,74>1,67. The results showed that the application of active learning strategy of Football Verbal can improve student learning achievement on the topic of Colloid in class XI science of Senior High School Number 1 Kampar Timur. Improved learning achievement can be seen from the coefficient of the effect achieved is 18,91%

    Research has conducted on class X SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The learning process was seriously, rigid, without a sense of excitement, and the state of the learning process at noon during the day, causing student's bored and tired. Form of research was experimented research with pretest-posttest design Research on the application technique Icebreaker has been done to improve student's achievement and uppertain of what category of improve student's achievement on the subject of nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations in class X at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The sample consisted of two classes, X.8 class as experiment class and X.3 class as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing technique Icebreaker and the control class was treated without icebreaker technique. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (8,88 > 1,66). The category improvement of student's achievement in experiment class was high category ( N-Gain = 0,72). It means that using technique Icebreaker can improve student's achievement on the subject of nomenclature of compounds and chemical equations in class X at SMAN 5 Pekanbaru

    The research about application of cooperative learning techniques roving group has been done to improve student's achievement on the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru on 02 October- 06 November 2013. This research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X4 class as experiment class and X3 class as control class that randomly selected after testing homogeneity. Application of cooperative learning techniques roving group applied in experiment class. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount>ttable (3,678> 1,67). It means that the application of cooperative learning techniques roving group can improve student's achievementon the topic of chemical bonds at 10th of SMAN 10 Pekanbaru.     Research aims to improve student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur. This type of research is experimental research study design randomized control group pretest-posttest. Research conducted at Senior High School 4 Kundur. Samples of the research were students of class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 2 as the control class. Experimental class is a class that is applied approach to science, environment, technology and society (SETS) whereas the untreated control class. Data analysis technique used was t test. Based on test data analysis obtained tcount>ttable is 2,33>1,67, meaning that the use of science approach, environment, technology and society (SETS) can increase student achievement on the subject of colloids in class XI Science Senior High School 4 Kundur by category increase achievement (N-Gain) high at 0.71

    The research aimed to improve the achievement of learners on termochemistry subject in XI MIA class SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang. This research was a kind of experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted in SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang the samples of the research were the students of XI MIA1 class as the experimental class and students of XI MIA2 class as the control class which were determined randomly after doing normality test and the homogeneity test. The learning process of experimental class and control class used scientific approach which was based on the curriculum in 2013. Experimental class was a class which was given the treatment that used cooperative learning model snowball throwing while the control class was not. Based on the result of data analysis test, we obtained tcount ttabel 4,27 1,67. It meant that the use of cooperative learning model snowball throwing could improve students learning achievement on termochemistry subject in XI MIA class SMAN 1 Tanjungpinang

    This is a classroom action research. This research is an attempt toimprove student learning activities in chemistry on class XI IPA 2 of SMAN 5Pekanbaru by using active learning strategies Hollywood Squares Review. Improvedstudent learning activity is the activity of asking questions, submit answers or opinions,group discussion and enthusiastic about the game of Hollywood Squares. The researchwas conducted with two cycles, in the first cycle consists of three meetings and thesecond cycle consists of two meetings which includes four stages of implementation,namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection includedobservation and test. The results showed that the percentage of students increasedactivity and achieving the success criteria. The percentage of student activity in the firstcycle of 66,07% with categorized good and the second cycle of 81,65% withcategorized very good. Percentage of learning outcomes is also seen from masterylearning that enhances and have achieved success criteria. The percentage of masterylearning students in the first cycle reached 64,29%,which has not reached the criteria ofsuccess, while in the second cycle students learning completeness percentage of 80,95%has achieved succes criteria. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that theuse of active learning strategies types Hollywood Square Review can to increase theactivity and student learning outcomes
