Active Control of a Non-Linear Ship model with External and Parametric Excitation
The response of a ship model with non-linearly coupled pitch and roll modes under modulated external and parametric solved and studied. The active control is applied to reduce the vibration of the system . The method of multiple scale perturbation technique is applied to obtain the periodic response equation near the primary resonance in the presence of internal resonance of the system. The objective of this research is focused on the stability of this periodic solution, dynamical properties and chaotic response. The stability of the obtained numerical solution is studied using both frequency response equation and phase-plane methods. The effects of some parameters on the vibrating system are investigated and reported in this paper
Positive Position Feedback Controllers for Reduction the Vibration of a Nonlinear Spring Pendulum
In this paper, the two positive position feedback controllers (PPF) are proposed to reduce the longitudinal and angular vibrations of the nonlinear spring pendulum system which simulated the ship roll motion. This described by a four-degreeof- freedom system (4-DOF) which subjected to the external excitation force at simultaneous primary and internal resonance case. The method of multiple scale perturbation technique (MSPT) is applied to study the approximate solution of the given system. The stability of the system is investigated near the resonance case applying the frequency-response equations. Numerically, the effects of different controllers parameters on the basic system behavior are studied
Combined resonance and vibration reduction of non linear dynamical system subject to tuned excitation

The method of multiple scale is applied to solve the system up to 3rd order approximation. Effect of different parameters is studied numerically all resonance cases are studied numerically to obtain the worst case . Stability of the system is investigated using both phase plane and frequency response curves
Provenance for SPARQL queries
Determining trust of data available in the Semantic Web is fundamental for
applications and users, in particular for linked open data obtained from SPARQL
endpoints. There exist several proposals in the literature to annotate SPARQL
query results with values from abstract models, adapting the seminal works on
provenance for annotated relational databases. We provide an approach capable
of providing provenance information for a large and significant fragment of
SPARQL 1.1, including for the first time the major non-monotonic constructs
under multiset semantics. The approach is based on the translation of SPARQL
into relational queries over annotated relations with values of the most
general m-semiring, and in this way also refuting a claim in the literature
that the OPTIONAL construct of SPARQL cannot be captured appropriately with the

Vibration Control in MEMS Resonator Using Positive Position Feedback (PPF) Controller
In this paper, the vibration of a micro-electromechanical resonator with positive position feedback controller is studied. The analytical results are obtained to the first order approximation by using the multiple scale perturbation technique. The stability of the steady-state solution is presented and studied applying frequency response equations near the simultaneous primary and internal resonance cases. The effects of the controller and some system parameters on the vibrating system are studied numerically. The main result of this paper indicates that it is possible to reduce the vibration for the resonator system
Vibration Control for a Coupled Pitch- roll Ship Model Via a Negative Cubic Velocity Feedback Control
One of the most essential ship reactions to waves is roll motion. Due to the intricacy of ship wave interactions and their sensitivity, predicting such a reaction is extremely challenging. Because vibration motion is an undesirable occurrence, it must be removed, decreased, or controlled. A coupled Pitch- roll ship model with negative cubic velocity feedback control subjected to parametric excitations is premeditated and solved in this paper. The method of multiple time scales is applied to scrutinize the response of the two modes of the system neighbouring the simultaneous sub-harmonic, and internal resonance situation. Besides, the steady-state solution is determined through the Rung-Kutta Method (RKM) of fourth order. Stability of the steady state solution near this resonance case is discussed and studied applying Lyapunov’s first indirect method and Routh- Hurwitz criterion. The influences of the different parameters on the steady state solution are reconnoitred and discussed. The controller effects on the stability are clarified. Simulation results are accomplished with the help of MATLAB and Maple software programs
Myeloid lineage skewing due to exacerbated NF-κB signaling facilitates osteopenia in Scurfy mice
Immune surveillance through Foxp3+ regulatory T cells plays a crucial role in bone homeostasis. Scurfy, the mouse model of autoimmune IPEX syndrome, bears a loss-of-function mutation in Foxp3 that leads to multi-organ inflammation. Herein, we report that scurfy mice exhibit severe bone loss mediated by accelerated osteoclastogenesis. Mechanistically, Foxp3 deficiency results in the upregulation of NF-κB in T helper cells through the loss of repressive Foxp3/NEMO interaction, thereby unleashing NF-κB-mediated over-production of pro-osteoclastogenic cytokines. Flow cytometry analysis shows marked increase in lin(-)Sca-1(+)c-kit(+) hematopoietic stem cells (LSK HSCs) and granulocyte/macrophage progenitors (GMPs) in bone marrow of scurfy mice with corresponding exacerbated osteoclastogenic potential, implying that osteoclast progenitors are affected at a very primitive stage in this disorder. Scurfy LSK HSCs exhibit greater sensitivity to M-CSF and contain abundant PU.1+ Sf LSK HSCs compared with WT. Accordingly, genetic or pharmacological inhibition of M-CSF or mTOR signaling, but not IL-17 signaling, attenuates osteoclastogenesis and osteopenia in scurfy. Thus, our study suggests that Foxp3 deficiency leads to osteopenia owing to dysregulated NF-κB activity and subsequent cytokine-mediated hyper-proliferation of myeloid precursors, and positions the NF-κB pathway as a potential target for therapeutic intervention for this disorder

Identification of novel transcripts and peptides in developing murine lens.
We previously investigated the transcriptome and proteome profiles of the murine ocular lens at six developmental time points including two embryonic (E15 and E18) and four postnatal time points (P0, P3, P6, and P9). Here, we extend our analyses to identify novel transcripts and peptides in developing mouse lens. We identified a total of 9,707 novel transcripts and 325 novel fusion genes in developing mouse lens. Additionally, we identified 13,281 novel alternative splicing (AS) events in mouse lens including 6,990 exon skipping (ES), 2,447 alternative 3' splice site (A3SS), 1,900 alternative 5' splice site (A5SS), 1,771 mutually exclusive exons (MXE), and 173 intron retention (IR). Finally, we integrated our OMIC (Transcriptome and Proteome) datasets identifying 20 novel peptides in mouse lens. All 20 peptides were validated through matching MS/MS spectra of synthetic peptides. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report integrating OMIC datasets to identify novel peptides in developing murine lens
