Sağlık çalışanlarının "Sağlık hizmetlerinde ekip kavramına" ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi

A team can be defined as a group of people working together to achieve a common goal. If team roles are not clear then the strength of each individual team member could not be used effectively and also ifdecisions are taken by the wrong people then the chances of something going seriously wrong will increase up.The aim ofthis study was to analyse the opinions ofhealth ;ccedil;are workers vorking in primary health ;ccedil;are services, on ;quot;Teamwork in Health ;Ccedil;are;quot;. The total number of health ;ccedil;are workers working in the 19 health ;ccedil;are centers linked to the Bornova Headquarters of Health ;Ccedil;are Groups is 320. This number forms the population universe of this study. The formula of ;quot;If the number of the universe is known;quot;was used to determine the sample size and 139 persons (43%) were included in the study. The data of the study were col-lected by questionnaire. The results of the study are summarized below. When the opinions ofhealth ;ccedil;are workers on the beneflts of a team were analysed, the highest percentage of agreement (93.4%) was on the opinion of ;quot;teamwork provides division of lahor;quot;. The percentage of agreement among the items pertaining to the factors affecting the establishment of a team was 59.5% on the item ;quot;the concept of team work is not included in the occupational training programs sufficiently;quot;. Among the items on the most prominent features of effıcient teams, the highest percentage (97.8%) of agreement was on ;quot;an effıcient team shouldhave signifıcantgoals;quot;.As a result, a positive opinion on the concept of team among health ;ccedil;are workers was determined. Recommendations on the increasing the efficiency of health care teams were forwarded. Statistically significant difference was found to be between the means points of health care workers according to their educational levels on the answers given to questions about the features of a health team.Ekip, ortak bir amaca ulaşmak için birlikte çalışan insanların oluşturduğu bir grup olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu araştırma tanımlayıcı bir alan araştırmasıdır. Bornova Sağlık Grup Başkanlığı 'na bağlı 19 sağlık ocağında toplam sağlık personeli sayısı 320'dir ve bu sayı araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmuştur. Örneklem büyüklüğünü saptamak için "evrendeki birey sayısı biliniyorsa " formülünden yararlanılarak 139 kişi (%43) basit tesadüfi Örneklem yöntemiyle örneğe alınmıştır. "Etkili ekiplerin en belirgin özellikleri"ne ilişkin faktörlerden "Etkili ekibin açık ve belirgin amaçları olmalıdır " görüşüne ise %97.8 oranında katılmışlardır. Sonuç olarak sağlık çalışanlarının kavramsal olarak ekip kavramına ilişkin olumlu görüşe sahip oldukları saptanmıştır. Sağlık ekiplerinin etkinliğinin arttırılmasına ilişkin bir dizi önerilerde bulunulmuştur

A mandibular fourth molar located in coronoid process

The occurrence of fourth molars in mandible is very rare. A 32 year-old male patient applied to our clinic to seek treatment for a pericoronory abscess distal to the left lower third molar. Radiographic examination revealed an impacted fourth molar located in the coronoid process and a well-defined radiolucency extended downward and forward to retromolar region. Under general anesthesia both third and fourth molars, and the radiolucent cystic lesion between them were surgically removed.The occurrence of fourth molars in mandible is very rare.
