This study addresses the legislative drafting of the pillars of the marriage contract under the civil status Omani law, in terms of consistency and coherence between the provisions of the law as a result of its drafting. Amendments of Contract Vitiated Acts in Islamic Fiqih

Amendment of acts is defined in this research study as the possible lifting or removal of all that cause vitiation. This process involves either dealing with the conditions that lead to such or by dropping the vitiated act completely as if nonexistent. This definition attempts to complete the theory of vitiation innovated by the Hanafi Doctrine or School of thought. The research study points out that ruling a contract as vitiated is the same as pronouncing it as null or void unless the conditions that lead to such pronouncement are removed.
