Yara İyileşmesi ve Diyabetik Yara Tedavisinde Kullanılan Tıbbi Bitkiler

Diabetes mellitus ins&uuml;lin salgısında d&uuml;ş&uuml;ş ve/veya ins&uuml;linin etkisinde azalmaya bağlı ortaya &ccedil;ıkan, y&uuml;ksek kan şekeri d&uuml;zeyi ile karakterize metabolik bir hastalık olup &ccedil;evresel, genetik ve yaşam bi&ccedil;imi gibi değişik fakt&ouml;rlerin katkısıyla meydana gelmektedir. Diyabet kontrol altına alınmadığı taktirde ilerleyici bir seyir izlemekte, buna bağlı olarak da morbidite ve mortalitede artışa yol a&ccedil;arak toplum ve birey a&ccedil;ısından b&uuml;y&uuml;k sağlık sorunu oluşturmaktadır. Diyabetik n&ouml;ropati, periferal vask&uuml;ler hastalıklar ve anormal h&uuml;cresel aktiviteler diyabetik yara iyileşmesini engelleyen temel fakt&ouml;rlerdir. Son yıllarda d&uuml;nya genelinde, sağlıklı bir yaşamın s&uuml;rd&uuml;r&uuml;lmesi ve &ccedil;eşitli hastalıkların tedavisinde tıbbi bitkilerin kullanımı artış g&ouml;stermektedir. Yara iyileşmesinin gecikmesi ve kronik yaralar diyabetin komplikasyonlarından olup g&uuml;n&uuml;m&uuml;z tıbbının ciddi tedavi problemi ve ekonomik sorunları olarak karşımıza &ccedil;ıkmaktadır. Diyabetik yara tedavisi i&ccedil;in mevcut yaklaşımlar ve geliştirilen yeni y&ouml;ntemler kısmen etkili olmakta, bu nedenle kısa s&uuml;rede iyileşme sağlayacak başka tedavi y&ouml;ntemlerinin geliştirilmesi &ouml;nem arz etmektedir. Bu derlemede yara iyileşmesi hakkında genel bilgiler derlenmiş olup, diyabetik yara tedavisinde kullanılan tıbbi bitkilerle yapılan &ccedil;alışmalar &ouml;zetlenerek yeni &ccedil;alışmalara katkı sağlamak ama&ccedil;lanmıştır.&nbsp;Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterised by high blood level, occured due to the low secretion of insulin and/or decrease in insulin effect. It happens with the contribution of different factors such as environment, genetic and life style. When diabetes is not taken under control, it runs a progressive course; therefore, causes a big health problem for the society and individuals, with the increase in the morbidity and mortality. Diabetic neuropathy, periferal vascular diseases and abnormal cellular activities are the main factors which a prevent the healing of diabetic wounds. The use of medicinal plants has recently been increased throughout the world for the maintenance and improvement of health and for the treatment of various human conditions and diseases. Delayed wound healing and chronic wounds are the complications of diabetes mellitus and are the major therapeutic and economic issues in medicine today. Development of different methods that would yield a recovery in a short period of time merits attention by virtue of limited effectiveness of current approaches for treatment of diabetic wounds. In this review, we summarized general knowledge of wound healing and the current treatment approaches to diabetic wounds and previous works related to medicinal plants to contribute the future studies in this field.
