    This article discusses the reasons for the low acquisition of mathematics among the second seminar students at the province of Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. The problem is the low achievement of mathematics, the focus of teachers on the Issues related to evaluation and neglect others, such as educational means, teaching methods, students economic and social conditions and others. Therefore, there was a lack of diagnosis of the main reasons for the students' low achievement by the teachers, this was clear to the researcher during his work as a teacher and supervisor, and during his discussion with officials in the supervision of education. The objectives of the study is to identify the causes that lead to low academic acquisition in mathematics among students of the second cycle of basic education from the teachers perspectives. The study sample consisted of )150( mathematics teachers for the second class, representing 50% of the study population. The questionnaires containing of (15) paragraph representing reasons for the low academic achievement by the students in mathematics. The findings revealed that the main reasons were: Lack of self-sense of the school drives the student not to interested in the study. Lack of desire to study. student bad behaviors that affect the acquisition level. Non-cooperation of parents with the school administration. The weak qualification of the student in the lower grades without being able of the basics of mathematics

    This descriptive research discusses the organizational conflict management in educational institutions. The statement problem; identified the need for schools to learn management techniques and organizational strategies for conflict management, which may arise somewhat within the schools. The research objectives are: to understand the concepts of organizational conflict, its causes in the organization, the methods and strategies used by administrations in general and school administrations in particular in managing organizational conflict in them. Through the descriptive analytical approach, the research reached a number of findings: The method of cooperation in the Organization is one of the best methods used, because of its good impact in the soul, and improve the work. Complementary, avoidance and power usage methods can be used; depending on the type of problem.     This quantitative study discusses the role of the educational supervisor in developing teachers’ performance at the in the post-primary education schools in Muscat Governorate, through revealing the supervisory practices of the educational supervisors, as well as detecting the differences in the study sample responses according to (gender and experience) variables. To achieve these objectives; the researcher used descriptive analytical method, and designed a questionnaire consisting of (30) paragraphs divided into five areas: (human relations, planning, training and professional growth, field monitoring, assessment and tests). The study population consists of (1440) teachers of post-primary schools in the Governorate of Muscat. The random sample consists of (341) male and female teachers. After the data descriptive analysis through the statistical processing of the SPSS program, the findings revealed that: the role of the educational supervisor in the development of the teachers’ performance in the area of (human relations) was big, while the supervisors’ practices in areas of (Planning, training and professional growth, field follow-up, evaluation and testing) were at medium levels according to the teachers’ point of view. There were statistically significant differences at the mean level (α ≥ 0.05) according to the gender variable in favor of the male teachers. There were no statistically significant differences for the experience variable. ******************************************************************************** هدفت هذه الدراسة الكمية إلى تشخيص دور المشرف التربوي في تطوير الأداء الوظيفي للمعلمين، في مدارس التعليم ما بعد الأساسي بمحافظة مسقط، وذلك من خلال الكشف عن الممارسات الإشرافية للمشرفين التربويين في المجالات المختلفة، وكذلك الكشف عن الفروقات في متوسطات استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة، وفقًا لمتغيري الدراسة: (النوع، والخبرة). ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وأعد استبانة تتكون من (30) فقرة موزعة على خمسة مجالات: (العلاقات الإنسانية، التخطيط، التدريب والنمو المهني، المتابعة الميدانية، التقويم والاختبارات). تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع المعلمين لمدارس التعليم ما بعد الأساسي في مدارس محافظة مسقط؛ الباغ عددهم (1440) معلم ومعلمة، لجمع البيانات تم أخذ عينة بالطريقة العشوائية المنتظمة تتكون من (341) معلم ومعلمة. بعد التحليل الوصفي في معالجة البيانات إحصائيا عن طريق برنامج (SPSS ) توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج لعل من أهمها: كان دور المشرف التربوي في تطوير الأداء الوظيفي للمعلمين في مجال (العلاقات الإنسانية) بدرجة كبيرة، بينما كانت ممارسات المشرف التربوي في تطوير الأداء الوظيفي للمعلمين في المجالات (التخطيط، التدريب والنمو المهني، المتابعة الميدانية، التقويم والاختبارات) بدرجة متوسطة من وجهة نظر المعلمين. كما أظهرت نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( 0.01 ≥ α ) وفقًا لآراء أفراد العينة تبعًا لمتغير (الجنس) لصالح المعلمين، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( 0.05 ≥ α ) تبعًا لمتغير الخبرة حسب آراء عينة الدراسة

    Mathematics Knowledge management; means the creation of organizational rules and strategies; collection of data and applied pure mathematical rules; knowledge of the subject matter and its storage, to improve the quality of mathematics teaching. The problem is that this has not been the applied in many schools, in a way that links knowledge management to the development of teachers' creative abilities in mathematics, when employ the implications of knowledge management in developing the capacity of mathematics teachers in creativity way. This was one of the reasons for the low level of student acquisition, when many find mathematics as a difficult subject. Through the analytical descriptive approach, the research reached several findings: the existence of a close correlation between the ability of mathematics teachers to innovate in the material, and their use of knowledge published by the knowledge management program. Knowledge management reduces errors in the teacher's procedural steps, enhance their ability to properly think about the subject matter, and enable him to solve the related problems. The use of cognitive schemes helps the teacher to innovate in teaching mathematical concepts; according to the methods and strategies used by the teacher in teaching these concepts. Stored charts help students interact, understand and connect concepts, and recognize the creative relationships between them

    This quantitative study aimed to diagnose the role of the first teacher as a supervisor in the professional development of teachers in the second cycle of basic education schools in Muscat Governorate, by revealing the supervisory practices of the first teachers as supervisors in different fields, as well as revealing the differences among the study sample according to variables: gender and experience. The researcher used the descriptive analytical method, designed a questionnaire of (30) statements related to: planning, implementation and field follow-up and evaluation). The study population consisted of (1820) male and female teachers at the second cycle. A random sample of (395) was taken; they are (200) male teachers and (195) females. And to collect data for the study, a in a, systematic way, consisting male and female teachers, with After the quantitative and descriptive analysis in statistical data processing with (SPSS) the findings revealed that; The role of the first teachers in the development came with an average degree in all fields according to teachers point of view. The findings also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01≥ α) according to (gender) in favor of females, finally there were no statistically differences at the level of (0.05≥ α) according to the experience variable
