    Get PDF
Purpose: The article deals with the problem of changes in social values made by the influence of refugee culture and mind on the British society, which is widely known to be very stable and unchangeable via comparative qualitative research methods. Methodology: The qualitative research adopted an analytical-comparative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Main Findings: As a result, the value-ignored actions from the Love letter are the most diverse in value types and in the number of uses in the text. In conclusion, when considering the verb value-oriented expressions, it is noted that there are much more positive actions than negative ones. Applications: This article can be used by regional schools, cultural organizations and universities. Novelty/Originality: The crisis of ideology in the field of morality in the modern social situation related to the problems of immigrants has been studied

Process Simulating of Heat Transfer in High-temperature Thermocouples

    No full text
Numerical research of integral characteristics of process of heattransfer in sensitive elements of R, A and B types thermocouples in case of measurement of high temperatures (more than 900 K) is executed. Theoretical dependences of minimum necessary duration of heating up of the thermocouple on value of temperature on boundary of a sensitive element are received. It is shown the thermocouple of R type requires bigger time of heating for obtaining satisfactory accuracy of measurements. Temperature fields in sensitive elements of the specified thermocouples are received. It is shown that distribution of temperature on the thermocouple not linearly and has similar character for the researched thermocouples

Mathematical models of heattransfer are developed for an assessment of measurement errors of temperature by thermocouples with an isolated and uninsulated seal. Dependences of necessary time of heating (for authentic measurement) for the thermocouples with an isolated seal manufactured of different materials are set. It is shown that for thermocouples with isolated seal minimum necessary duration of heating up slightly exceeds this index for thermocouples with an uninsulated seal

Influence of Radiation and Convective Types of Heat Exchange on the Necessary Duration of Temperature Measurement by Thermocouples

Results of research of influence of radiation heat exchange on duration of execution of measurement high темератур are given by thermocouples, influence of the free convection on results of temperature measurement is also considered by the thermocouples set in protective sleeves with a gap. Researches showed that radiation heat exchange leads to lowering of duration of heating of the thermocouple to 30% whereas the free convection in a protective sleeve practically doesn’t exert impact on process of heating up of the sensor

The description of degree model of reliability of the heat power equipment in which as a factor of loading the working temperature of the equipment is used is provided, interval estimates of constant values of model are given. For a row of elements of constructions of boilers dependences of the relative increase in failure density are given by operation in the conditions of the increased temperatures for a long time

Hybrid Molecules of Azithromycin with Chloramphenicol and Metronidazole: Synthesis and Study of Antibacterial Properties

    No full text
The sustained rise of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) causes a strong need to develop new antibacterial agents. One of the methods for addressing the problem of antibiotic resistance is through the design of hybrid antibiotics. In this work, we proposed a synthetic route for the conjugation of an azithromycin derivative with chloramphenicol and metronidazole hemisuccinates and synthesized two series of new hybrid molecules 4a–g and 5a–g. While a conjugation did not result in tangible synergy for wild-type bacterial strains, new compounds were able to overcome AMR associated with the inducible expression of the ermC gene on a model E. coli strain resistant to macrolide antibiotics. The newly developed hybrids demonstrated a tendency to induce premature ribosome stalling, which might be crucial since they will not induce a macrolide-resistant phenotype in a number of pathogenic bacterial strains. In summary, the designed structures are considered as a promising direction for the further development of hybrid molecules that can effectively circumvent AMR mechanisms to macrolide antibiotics

Search for long-lived particles decaying to a pair of muons in proton-proton collisions at s \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV

An inclusive search for long-lived exotic particles decaying to a pair of muons is presented. The search uses data collected by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC in proton-proton collisions at s \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV in 2016 and 2018 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 97.6 fb1^{−1}. The experimental signature is a pair of oppositely charged muons originating from a common secondary vertex spatially separated from the pp interaction point by distances ranging from several hundred μm to several meters. The results are interpreted in the frameworks of the hidden Abelian Higgs model, in which the Higgs boson decays to a pair of long-lived dark photons ZD_{D}, and of a simplified model, in which long-lived particles are produced in decays of an exotic heavy neutral scalar boson. For the hidden Abelian Higgs model with m(ZD_{D}) greater than 20 GeV and less than half the mass of the Higgs boson, they provide the best limits to date on the branching fraction of the Higgs boson to dark photons for cτ(ZD_{D}) (varying with m(ZD_{D})) between 0.03 and ≈0.5 mm, and above ≈0.5 m. Our results also yield the best constraints on long-lived particles with masses larger than 10 GeV produced in decays of an exotic scalar boson heavier than the Higgs boson and decaying to a pair of muons.[graphic not available: see fulltext

Search for CPCP violation in ttH and tH production in multilepton channels in proton-proton collisions at s\sqrt{s} = 13 TeV

International audienceThe charge-parity (CP) structure of the Yukawa interaction between the Higgs (H) boson and the top quark is measured in a data sample enriched in the tt \overline{\textrm{t}} H and tH associated production, using 138 fb1^{−1} of data collected in proton-proton collisions at s \sqrt{s} = 13 TeV by the CMS experiment at the CERN LHC. The study targets events where the H boson decays via H → WW or H → ττ and the top quarks decay via t → Wb: the W bosons decay either leptonically or hadronically, and final states characterized by the presence of at least two leptons are studied. Machine learning techniques are applied to these final states to enhance the separation of CP -even from CP -odd scenarios. Two-dimensional confidence regions are set on κt_{t} and κt \overset{\sim }{\kappa } _{t}, which are respectively defined as the CP -even and CP -odd top-Higgs Yukawa coupling modifiers. No significant fractional CP -odd contributions, parameterized by the quantity |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | are observed; the parameter is determined to be |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | = 0.59 with an interval of (0.24, 0.81) at 68% confidence level. The results are combined with previous results covering the H → ZZ and H → γγ decay modes, yielding two- and one-dimensional confidence regions on κt_{t} and κt \overset{\sim }{\kappa } _{t}, while |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | is determined to be |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | = 0.28 with an interval of |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | < 0.55 at 68% confidence level, in agreement with the standard model CP -even prediction of |fCPHtt {f}_{CP}^{\textrm{Htt}} | = 0.[graphic not available: see fulltext
