Pancakes for a healthy diet: low-carb, prebiotic, gluten-free
The work aims to develop pancake recipes corresponding to the standards of a healthy
diet by replacing traditional components with ingredients containing nutritional functional
properties. Corn and rice flour are gluten-free and can be used to design gluten-free pancakes.
Barley flour contains beta-glucans, a large amount of fiber, reduces the glycemic index of
products, is useful not only for a healthy diet but also for people suffering from diabetes and
obesity. Rye flour is low in calories, as millet flour contains dietary fiber, vitamins, and lowers
cholesterol. Dietary fiber and inulin contribute to the regulation of intestinal microbiota. The
results show the possibility of 100% replacement of wheat flour with other types of flour in the
production of low-carb, prebiotic, and gluten-free pancakes. The water absorption capacity of
flour, dough viscosity, humidity, texture of products, and sensory analysis of finished products
were investigated. Replacing wheat flour with alternative types of flour can improve the
nutritional value of products, increase the content of dietary fiber, and reduce the calorie content
of pancakes

Searching for exact ways and scheme of treatment and supervising asthma patients on long-acting form of b 2-agonist (Formoterol) therapy is still very actual. We studied 31 children (from 7 to 11 years) with moderate non-controled bronchial asthma during 12 weeks. As a basic therapy inhaled corticosteroids-mono or in a combination with Foradyle were used. Corresponding data on Childhood Asthma Control Test, lung function, electrocardiogram, serum potassium and glucose concentrations were monitoring clinically. No adverse reactions were seen. The results obtained for the case of combined therapy with formoterol point out the necessity of more frequent than prescribed observation of the patient state trend, with taking electrocardiography and especially compliance into account.ΠΠΎΠΈΡΠΊ ΠΊΠΎΠ½ΠΊΡΠ΅ΡΠ½ΡΡ

High morbidity rate of atopic diseases among children, including high importance of grass pollen as a sensitizing agent, determine the relevance of studies on diagnostic examination systems for appointment of adequate therapy. The research of the most relevant allergens for patients to exclude of duplicating and uninformative tests became urgent after development of a new type of diagnostic tests that does not require expensive equipment.Β The objectiveΒ of this research was to evaluate the results of in vitro- and in vivo-diagnostic examinations of children with various forms of atopic disease caused by pollen of meadow grasses, and to choose the most significant prognostic parameters for the diagnosis.Β Methods: 277 children aged 4β16 years with various forms of atopic disease were included in the study. There were performed skin prick tests and determination of IgE-antibodies levels to allergen extracts of cocksfoot (g3), meadow fescue (g4), timothy grass (g6).Β Results: In the studied group of patients 32β50% of children have antibodies to grass allergens. There was a close correlation of antibody response on the investigated allergens, quantitative coincidence of IgE-antibodies to g3 and g4 allergens levels. IgE (g6) concentration was close to the IgE(g3) and IgE(g4) levels (85,0Β±21,6%). Analysis of the skin tests results showed that 44% of patients have a positive response to grass allergens, and in vivo-tests results coincide with serological tests results, mostly in a qualitative sense. The most significant relationship was noted between in vivo and in vitro-tests in the results of testing the response to meadow fescue pollen.Conclusion: Based on these data IgE concentration index to meadow fescue allergens can be used as a prognostic marker to determine the sensitization of patients with different nosology forms of allergy and can help to improve allergic diagnostics.Π Π°ΡΠΏΡΠΎΡΡΡΠ°Π½Π΅Π½Π½ΠΎΡΡΡ Π°ΡΠΎΠΏΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΈΡ

The article discusses results of the structural and functional analysis of molecular genetic abnormalities in various malignant tumors. Investigations have discovered more than 20 new markers for sporadic breast cancer. Several of them formed the test system, allowing the diagnosis with a specificity of 100%. Appearance of TMPRSS2/ERG4 chimeric gene is a frequent tumor-specific event, its expression is correlated with more aggressive forms of prostate cancer, may serve as a molecular marker for tumor cells and androgen assessment of tumor response to hormonal therapy. The effective systems for the early diagnosis of cervix and endometrium cancer were developed as well. Mutations in the VHL, deletions of chromosome 3 and methylation of several genes can predict the course and selection of effective therapy of clear cell kidney cancer. a number of molecular markers were identified for early diagnosis and prognosis of recurrence of bladder cancer. For diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of brain tumors we developed an effective complex system of markers. Protocol of molecular genetics investigation reveals the cause of the disease by more than 90% of patients with retinoblastoma. In order to study abnormal methylation in tumor genomes an innovative technology AFLOAT has been developed that allows to efficiently identify new markers with diagnostic value. INFLAMMATION MARKERS ANALYSIS AMONG CHILDREN, SUFFERING FROM ACUTE BRONCHITIS AGAINST FENSPIRIDE BASED TREATMENT
The authors stud the clinical efficiency of fenspiride (Erespal) among children (n = 46), suffering from acute bronchitis. It was shown that fenspiride reduced the cough duration and conduced to faster improvement of the patients' health. Optimization of diagnostic studies in patients with adenomiosis and/or hyperplastic processes of endometrium
Study objective: to optimize diagnostic measures in patients with adenomyosis and/or hyperplastic endometrial processes (HEP).
Material and methods. The study included 128 patients aged from 27 to 53 years. The first group included 38 (29.6%) patients with a grade IβII adenomyosis, the second group included 41 (32.1%) patients with a combination of grade IβII adenomyosis and HEP and/or uterine leiomyoma, the third group included 39 (30.5%) women with only HEP, the fourth (control) group included 10 (7,8%) women without endometrial pathology. Patients underwent hysteroscopy with targeted biopsy, elucidated the pathomorphological features of connective tissue component of the endometrium and uterus transitional zone, studied specific markers of adenomyosis progression, namely vascular endothelial growth factor and Ki-67 proliferation index, and also determined the parameters of shear wave ultrasound elastography.
Results. Routine histological examination of adenomyosis was confirmed only in 11 (30.6%) cases out of 36 suspected, while HEP (polyps, glandular hyperplasia) and hyperplastic pathology of endocervix (polyps) β in 34 (97.1%) cases out of 35 suspected. Ki-67 antigen expression was positive in the nuclei of epithelial cells in the adenomyosis glands and in the cytogenic stroma cells. A greater value of expression was in the epithelium of glands in superficially located heterotopies β with grade IβII adenomyosis compared with other studied groups. Shear wave elastography showed significant differences in the myometrium color between the first, third and control groups. The unchanged myometrium in all patients of the control group was characterized by staining in shades of blue, while in 9 (90%) patients the color was uniform.
Conclusion. It is recommended to use a shear wave ultrasound elastography in laboratory and instrumental examination with determination of Ki-67 proliferation protein expression and intensification of the neovascularization process in endometrial biopsy specimens to improve the diagnosis of adenomyosis
